circle spinning

“Hey, what happens if I–”

Ted the Animator: “Oh no.”

Carl the Animator: “I haven’t even said it yet!”

Ted the Animator: “The last time you raised a ‘hypothetical’ question, we almost got blacklisted by China Buffet.”

Carl the Animator: “This has nothing to do with spring rolls, I promise.”

Ted the Animator: “…alright, then, proceed with the idea.”

*19 seconds later*

Ted the Animator: “I… you… what have you done?!”

Carl the Animator: “I got rid’ve half the running loop frames!”

Ted the Animator: “…they look like their legs are spinning in circles!”

Carl the Animator: “And when we one day need to do a scene featuring people with have helicopter legs, you’ll thank me.”

Dean holds out a pink shopping bag. “I had to guess the size,” he says, “but I think it’ll fit.”

Hesitantly, you take it. Moving aside the tissue paper, you pull out the lacy g-string and bra. Can you even call it a bra? It’s two barely-there triangles of fabric held together with flimsy string. At the bottom of the bag are stiletto heels. It’s so tiny, there’s no way it’s the right size.

“Uh-uh,” you shake your head, shoving everything back into the bag. “No fucking way.”

Dean gives you an exasperated look. “We’ve been over this. It’s the best way to get information. And our guy targets strippers. You chat up the girls that work in the club while I keep an eye on the audience.”

Yeah, you bet he’ll be keeping an eye on things. On all those scantily clad women with perfect fucking bodies that look nothing like you. You’ll be wearing next to nothing with all eyes on you, including Dean’s. It’s pretty much the most mortifying thing you can think of. If only it were Sam going with you to the club, at least you’d feel a little less anxious. It’d still be embarrassing for Sam to see you nearly naked, gyrating on a stage in front of a crowd of men, but it’s Sam. He’s the safe brother. He’s not the one that makes you feel hot and cold at the same time. He’s not the one that makes your heart race every time he’s within your reach. He’s not the one that you think about when you touch yourself at night.

“Listen,” Dean says, clapping a hand on your shoulder. It’s meant to be a reassuring gesture, but it only makes you more anxious. “We’ve all had to play roles that we didn’t want to, but you got this. I’ll be there the whole time. Here.”

He hands you another bag, this one filled with scented lotion, glitter body spray and a shit-ton of makeup. “For real?” you ask.

“Trust me,” he says with a smug grin. “I’m an expert on strippers.”

Welcome to the Broom's Rest, a non-corporeal pub open to witches, pagans, and anyone else who could...

A couple of weeks ago @lemonbalmgirl was on tumblr asking about witch holiday specific recipe blogs. Then she was texting me after I’d had few beers and asking me about good names for a witch pub. Ian B and I had a bunch but I think we all like The Boom’s Rest best.  I didn’t know this was what she was up to. So, for your perusal, a whole blog of recipes that might work for your seasonal feasts.

Harry X Reader (AU)

Classes have only been in session for two weeks when you have your first paper due.

Your fingers are rubbing at a pair of tired eyes while you yawn in protest. Leave it to you to put off your assignment until the last moment. Now, it’s midnight and all you have left to do is read through and edit, but your mind keeps wandering to thoughts of fluffy pillows and cozy blankets and the squeaky mattress awaiting you in your dorm room.

The library is silent, lights blindingly bright in an effort to keep occupants awake. You’re seated next to a window that looks over the entire campus, all the glowing lampposts and vacant sidewalks and ivy-coated brick buildings. The view is spectacular, and it hasn’t helped you stay focused for the past eight hours.

You lean back in your seat with a heavy sigh, clasping your fingers over your eyes. When you open them again, a girl at the next table is glaring at you over the screen of her laptop. You’re on the second floor—the silent floor—and apparently loud breathing is not allowed.

You press against the edge of your table, sliding your chair out enough for you to stand. The library closes at one. You know for a fact that once you get back to your dorm, there will be no way to keep yourself out of bed. If you’re going to make this paper acceptable, it needs to be soon, and you’re going to need some caffeine.

Harvesting Weeds For Your Practice And Drying In The Microwave!

Today was a beautiful day. Although it was a little cloudy, and kind of muggy my daughter and I decided to go ahead and venture outside to pick some weeds. When I say us, though, I mean her. She trucked outside while Mama got stuff done and Disney Princessed her way around the yard singing and spinning in circles her weed back in hand!

Once she had a bag of henbit and dandelions, she brought them inside where the two of us began to harvest out what we needed. This would be the purple flowers of the henbit and yellow petals of the dandelion. So as we separated them we put them onto a paper plate topped with a napkin. There must be a napkin or paper towel under the plant matter you will be drying or it will stick to the plate.

This is what the pretty flowers looked like before hand. Beautiful in their color, thin layers. If you bulk them up too much they will not dry evenly. You can also cause some of them to burn.

Put them in the microwave on high for 1:30. One plate at a time. Be sure it is topped with a paper towel or napkin as well. Check the plant matter to see if it is dry and crispy. If not continue to microwave and check in increments of 30 seconds.

Once dried the flowers will be obviously smaller in size. We found it pretty neat that the dandelion also fluffed up as well. The smell of the Dandelion was quite nutty and seemed as though it should be eaten. After a taste test however, it just kind of resembled unflavored popcorn. LOL.

All in all, it turned out really well. Although it takes a lot of henbit, but that is to be expected! Good luck everyone!

listen: let yourself stim. pick up new stims. stimming is just as important to your health and happiness as avoiding overload, maybe even more so. life is too short to give a damn about what random jerks think. let yourself walk on your toes and flap your hands and bounce when you’re happy and spin in circles and pet soft things and walk barefoot in the grass and stare at something sparkly as you turn it in the light and jam out to music you like and. don’t limit yourself to tiny discreet stims; feel with your whole body and soul.

Tree Bros Oneshot: Evan’s Birthday

AN: hey everyone! this is my first deh oneshot, so i hope you enjoy.

July 10: Connor and Evan have been dating for a few months now, and today is Evan’s birthday. Connor has no idea what to get him, so he seeks help from his sister Zoe and Evan’s other friend Jared. Unfortunately, they’re as clueless as he is.

Warnings: None

Word Count: 1,123

“I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know!” Connor panicked, pacing back and forth in his bedroom.

It was currently noon, and Connor had planned to pick up Evan for a little birthday date at four, but there was one problem. He didn’t have a present.

“Dude, calm down. Just get him like a plant or something. He likes trees, right?” Jared sat in Connor’s office chair, spinning in circles and acting calmer than the Murphy boy.

“Why don’t you buy him a Keurig? Everyone loves Keurigs,” Zoe chimed in. She was sprawled out on Connor’s bed with her head hanging upside down off the side.

So I was sharing some Malec headcanons with @f-f-f-fight and I mentioned an idea I had with regards Magnus’ magic. He loved it. I wrote it. And he did these beautiful art for it. They’re stunning aren’t they? Thank you Seph!!!! I still have every intention of framing them. Just so you know ;).

***

“Alec! Duck!”

He heard the shout and dropped low, body acting without conscious thought, his mind narrowed on the urgent call in Jace’s voice. The air above his head sang with the glide of the Seraph blade flying through the air and then he heard a thud.

The circle member’s body had barely dropped before Alec was yanking out the blade from the gaping hole the blade had made in the middle of the man’s forehead.

He nodded at Jace who nodded back at him and went back to hacking away at circle members and demons alike, his blonde hair glinting in the moonlight in a way that made Alec spin on his feet, heart suddenly beating hard, eyes searching for the glint of silver necklaces which he hadn’t seen since… The breath whooshed out of him and he sighed in relief.

He’s okay. He’s fine.

Magnus’ fingers shot out in a graceful arc and with a blast of his power he decapitated the demon he’d been fighting, watching unimpressed as the demon dissolved into ash.

He lifted his head, as if he could sense Alec’s eyes on him, dark strands falling over his eyes, glowing golden with the slits that entranced and drew you in with the force and power they held.  His eyes held Alec’s for a brief moment and then he gave Alec a cocky grin and dove back into the fight, mind now focused on the circle member that had tried creeping up on him. A driving punch to the solar plexus, an upwards thrust with the heel of his palm that connected with the man’s nose and a direct punch to the face, and the circle member landed with a thud.

Without breaking a sweat, he glided onto the next circle member just as Alec caught running footsteps and raised his blade at the exact same moment a circle member came swinging at him.

His arms shook with the force of the hit and the circle member grinned.

Idiot.

Alec shot his foot out, slamming hard against the circle member’s kneecap, hearing the satisfying crunch of shattering bone that had the man drop with a pained howl. A quick swipe and he took off the man’s head and using the same momentum cleaved the demon that was coming at him from the side.

And then it was a blur of noise and blood and sweat, losing himself to the battle, catching brief glimpses of his lover, his family, his friends, all focused on their fights.

A circle member clipped him and he turned around, grabbed the man’s face, yanked him close and gutted him.

He caught Magnus’ smile just as he dropped the man’s body and smiled back, shaking his head at the wink Magnus tossed at him.

He was just about to turn around when he caught it, the split second when Magnus was distracted looking at him and a circle member swung at him, the edge of the Seraph blade hitting him from behind.

“Magnus!”

nothing like some good old fashioned nonsense

this is basically crack. right well, i should stop writing after 11pm

enjoy~

Marinette has a few rules when it comes to her partner.

  1. Don’t let him take patrols on his own. He’ll fall asleep on a random rooftop somewhere because he likes to stay out until the break of dawn, watching over the city as it sleeps.
  2. If he calls after midnight, always answer.
  3. Don’t trust him with gifts. He always goes unnecessarily over the top and spends far too much money for her (or anyone else) to be comfortable with it.
  4. Don’t put him in charge of food. For the same reason as the gifts, but also because he’ll eat half the food before she shows up.
  5. Don’t smile at him too much in class. Alya is getting suspicious.

But it turns out that Marinette has to add a new rule to the list:

  • Don’t let Alya and Nino plan anything for the four of them.

—«·»—

“Are you sure you can’t come?” Marinette asks, pacing back and forth as Tikki watches her burn circles in the floor from the desk..

I really can’t,” Alya apologizes over the phone. “We can’t find a sitter this last minute and there’s no way my mom is letting Ella and Etta stay home alone.

“Could you bring them?” Marinette tries. “Because I can just bring more food and—”

Marinette,” Alya interrupts gently. “With this last week of akumas, I don’t think my mom wants even us going to school. A park without adult supervision? No way.

Marinette chews on her bottom lip and resists the urge to ask ‘what about superhero supervision?’ Instead, she asks, “Are you sure?”

Positive.” Alya sighs. “I’m sorry, I really wish I could come. But you’ll be with Nino and Adrien, you’ll still have a fun time without me there.”

BTS Reaction #28 - The other members are being clingy with his girlfriend and he wants them to give her space

@ignitedminds27 asked: Bts reaction to other member being clingy with their gf and they want to tell him to give her some space.

warning: so much sass is in this post. So. Much. Oh and also, there’s foul language in this post too~

Seokjin: He’s the type to scold his members when they do something impolite or wrong. When he got pissed enough at you being too close to another member he would be all jealousy and sass.

He would get in-between you two with an “Excuse me?! What you doin?! Give Y/n some space, okay? Rude.”

Yoongi: He’s another one to say whatever is on his mind and he will not hold back AT ALL.

So, when you and Hoseok were cooking together and he decided to show you how to cut onions by back hugging you and placing his hands over yours to help you handle the knife, he got freaked out and blew up on him.

“Bitch back TF up. Y/n is my girlfriend so give her some space. You can be friends, but all of this,” he’d gesture to Hoseok hugging you tightly, “is too much. Hoseok you can’t even cook that well.”

Hoseok: You were trying a new dance and failing at it, so Jimin stepped in to help you. Things got a little heated though when he got too close to you during the hip thrusting part of the song.

“Jimin. Kindly back away from Y/n and give them some space before I thrust my foot up your ass. okay? k, thanks!”

Namjoon: /is this actually happening right here before my very eyes?/

You were watching a scary movie, sitting in-between Namjoon and Hoseok. Hoseok started getting scared but instead of hugging Taehyung on his other side, for some reason he chose you to hug. When he buried his face in your neck though Namjoon stepped in.

“Yah! Hyung! Don’t forget Y/n is my s/o okay? You’re going to make them uncomfortable.” (he’s the one uncomfortable tbh but he’d make that excuse)

Jimin: Passive aggressive and insecurity. He’d glare at you and Taehyung holding hands and skipping across the park, sitting sullenly on a bench. you two ended up even spinning in circles while hugging and falling down on each other. He’d stay on the bench until you looked at him and just saw how pissed he was.

“If you two are so happy holding hands like that in public, maybe you two should be the ones dating.”

You’d assure him that it was nothing but he’d end up rolling his eyes and it would take some convincing and a lot of apologies to make up for you being so mushy with Tae like that.

Taehyung: He was fine until you and Jungkook got so carried away in conversation that you weren’t even trying to include him anymore. You ignored all his comments, absorbed in your talk with Kookie. It got to the point where he got really hurt because you started talking over him and he was completely left out.

He slowly would give up and pout in the corner until you noticed him missing.”

“wow. I’m so flattered that you finally noticed that I was gone. I thought you and your other boyfriend would just ignore me forever.”

Jungkook: Seokjin was motherly towards you just as much as he was with Jungkook. Kookie knew this, but it still stunned him to see Seokjin pick your legs off of the coffee table and say “Here, if you want to rest your legs on something then they can lie over mine. The coffee table is a no-feet zone”

He would just stare at you two in shock, unsure what to do.

Finally, he’d just quietly say : “Um you know you can rest your legs over mine too, right? I am your boyfriend…”

If he gets jealous enough though be ready for the cold shoulder, he’s still slightly immature so he’d pretend you didn’t exist for a while and pretend he didn’t hear you speak.
