Yay requests are open! ^.^ I've loved your blog for a long time, actually! Okay, I'm going to request something now before I just go on and on. Most to least likely to be a yandere? O.o
here we go~ I got a bit carried away…
In case you don’t know: Yandere (ヤンデレ) is a Japanese term for a person who is initially very loving and gentle to someone (or at least innocent) before their devotion becomes destructive in nature, often through violence and/or brutality.
get to know me meme: [2/10] male characters ↳ciel phantomhive — kuroshitsuji Superficial… cruel… revolting. Isn’t it even more demonic than a demon? Right…? And I’m the same. I’m also filled with the same ugly contents as them. This is what a human is. I’m a human being, Sebastian!
2CT fans need not answer. This is for the 1Cielers. OK, I finally got to look at the official Taiwanese(former colony of Japan, cough cough) mandarin translation of chapter 61 again. After Ciel says he won’t lose the game as Ciel Phantomhive, Sebastian says, “You told me not to lie and yet you told such a humongous lie.” The exact words are “you told a lie as big as the sky.”
So what could he have lied about?
He is the head of the Phantomhive household
His name is Ciel Phantomhive
He won’t lose the game (no matter what, under no circumstances)
#1 is not a lie. Even if Ciel did have a twin, that twin is dead. Unless he’s certain Vincent is alive, Ciel is the last male Phantomhive. He’s the only heir left. He is the house head no matter what. This is the truth.
#2 is not even a complete lie. Assuming he has a brother, our!Ciel’s name is still Phantomhive. This is honestly only half a lie. And all he did was give a false first name. Would we really call this a lie as big as the sky? And Sebastian doesn’t even know real!Ciel’s name.
#3 is most likely. Ciel only just got out of the cult’s hands and is already saying he’ll definitely win “the game” be it his revenge or not. The record is from Sebastian’s point of view. And what did we see Sebastian do in chapter 63? Try to tempt Ciel into quitting the game and eating dinner sooner. We see that Sebastian thinks there are a lot of circumstances that could stop Ciel from winning. We see Ciel “falter” in the Green Witch arc too. We even see Sebastian almost lose in Campania.
Ciel didn’t just say he wants to win the game or he won’t quit until he does. He says he will win, as in- he is definitely going to succeed. That’s a lie because it’s really not up to him. He can’t control his internal circumstances.
Alternatively, it’s a game between Ciel and Sebastian, and Sebastain doesn’t believe this little child stands a chance against him.
