Wishing you a day full of family, friends, and food. This photograph is part of the museum’s Peter J. Cohen Collection of vernacular photographs—a term to describe images by amateur photographers of everyday life and subjects. Cohen’s collection spans much of the twentieth century and encompasses many different processes, including gelatin silver, cyanotype, collodion, chromogenic color, and Polaroids.
