Here’s an illustration I got to make for the Travel section of The New York Times. It’s about a writer who moved with his family to Luxembourg for a couple of wonderful years. They asked for an idyllic image of Luxembourg and here’s what I came up with. While researching Luxembourg City, I fell in love with the hilly city layout, water canals, and quaint architecture placed so close together.

Thought I’d also share the four options/rough sketches submitted. Thanks to AD Corinne for letting me have so much freedom and fun in creating the piece.
