Chont’s Lullaby

Fall asleep and start to dream, and when you dream, don’t cry.
I’ll soothe with song for days all gone when light has said goodbye.
I’ll watch you sleep and hold you deeply in my arms so tight,
Sing lullabies to you, from I, to chase away the night.

Hark! They come! Speak softly underneath the darkened loom.
I’ll hold you close, sing to the ghosts of days to cometh soon.
They’ll drift away into a brae of distant dreams and lies,
And sing to you ‘til night is through and hushed with lullabies.

As declared. A drabble for the MiM/Chont ship. (I won’t even pretend I’m sorry about shipping it.) Chont belongs to Ion, and we all know who MiM belongs to.

Rating G to PG (I really can’t tell the difference anymore).

It was after the Lord and Lady Lunanoff perished that he began to take care of the new tsar. He watched him with curiosity at first, letting him explore the Moon Clipper and all its wonders. But there time a time for feeding and washing and dressing. He had an easy time of it, dressing him in garments much like his. At one point, the baby Lunanoff patted his cheeks with his chubby, little hands, making sounds that were peculiar to him—though normal of a baby to make. It became a habit when he was pleased with whatever it was he, a Lunar Moth, did. He did his best to make note of these times, wanting to know what made the little lord happy, especially since hearing him cry threatened to knock him into unconsciousness.

Blame Me Part 3

A sweet, little chapter. (Some fluff that’s probably necessary after that last one. C'mon, you’ve gotta earn your fluff!) This includes Chont/MiM (LunarMoth as we’ve discussed for the ship name) and Nicholas St. North (young!North) with Spirit of the Forest. For those of you that haven’t read the first book, this has a bit of a spoiler about this very beautiful woman (honestly, I think of the Spring Fairy from Fantasia 2000 (Firebird Suite?) with the obvious changes to her color of hair and body). However, if you don’t mind knowing about a character, I encourage you to read as I don’t spoil anything other than Spirit of the Forest.

(Note: This is more fluff, so no nsfw this time.)

Chont was waiting at the door, waiting as his tsar never once expressed his need for him. He heard it all though. And for some reason it hurt him. Maybe it was because his tsar wanted him so badly, but deep down Chont knew that it would never come to fruition. Was that it? Was he hurting for his tsar? Perhaps, perhaps not.
