TOMS Eyewear

Recently, The company Toms came out with three new stylishly designed sunglasses. You may know the brand from their highly popular shoes, and their charity motto “one for one”. Well, like the shoes, Toms promises to donate a pair of eyeglasses (whether they are for reading or sun) to someone in need for every pair of glasses you buy. The Sunglasses come in three different styles, with many chic, different colors within the styles. Prices range from $135-$145, but the money is well spent. While you might be buying them as a gift or for yourself, remember that with the $135 or $145 dollars, you are also donating a pair to someone who might need those glasses more than you do. Its a win-win! you get the stylishness and use of the sunglasses, and someone else does too! The sunglasses can be found on, and Nordstroms is also currently carrying them in their accessories department.
remember that the holiday season is coming around, and it’s not all about receiving, and this is the perfect way to give.

Versace for H&M

The newest and much anticipated collaboration between retail giant H&M and high end label Versace just about to hit the stores! “The Very Best of Versace for H&M” is the name of the collection, and keeping in mind the success of past collaborations (Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Sonia Rykiel, etc.) you might want to sharpen your elbows and get to the stores early.

The line will be available in select H&M stores beginning November 19th, and protective clothing wouldn’t be a bad idea either, seeing as Thanksgiving tourists will be packing the manhattan stores and brandwhores will have been camping outside the doors since the early hours.

Prices range from $29 to $299, but the majority of the items are set at $129 and up.

Here are some photos from H&M’s website, featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lindsey Wixson and Daphne Groeneveld:

best school bags

many of us have struggled searching for “the one” - the perfect book bag. here are my 5 top picks:

longchamp bags are a definite classic. plus, they come in a variety of basic colors that go with everything.

feed bags are large, light and stylish. and all the profits from purchase go to charity!

i have seen a lot of people around campus carrying these. marc jacobs’ pretty nylon totes are known for their originality and bright prints. their large size makes them very functional

although the paul smith bags are originally intended for men, they are perfect as a book bag. i own one myself. the fun styles add a ”prepster” look to anything you wear to school.

vespa shoulder bags are practical and eye catching. i love the retro vibe and the variety of colors they come in.

Addition from C:

Herve Chapelier is definitely, one of my favorite water-proof school totes.
