Summer is here and I finally have time to read for pleasure again!
Currently, I’m reading Born For Love: Why Empathy is Essential and Endangered by Maia Szalavitz and Bruce D. Perry, M.D., P.H.D. I would totally recommend this book to any of my followers who are interested in Child Development and Child Psychology. I read The Boy Who was Raised as a Dog, by the same authors, last summer for my intro to Child Psychology class and learned so much about the affects of traumatization on children.
I hope that my followers don’t get too lazy this summer and I encourage you to check out these books and keep your mind growing before you start classes again and/or go back to work with the kiddos!

P.S.-Please don’t forget that I’m always looking for submissions!
