Back in May, my mom was hospitalized with pneumonia. She beat it, but the cost of her coming home put us in deep, deep debt and this month, we’re at risk of losing a good portion of our utilities.

My mom’s bank account is $200 in the hole, we have a $200+ cell phone bill (which I still have no idea how it got that expensive, but I need my cell phone as I am job hunting), we have a past due water bill of about $100, we still have no idea how much our electric bill is going to be, and we need our house phone and internet, as again, I am job hunting and the house phone is the only way I can contact my mother when I’m not as home as her cell phone is all but dead. We only have enough money this month to make our car payment, our rent, and to pay back a loan that my mom took out in a moment of desperation to make sure our bills were paid on time last month.

I’ve been job hunting, but I haven’t gotten any callbacks from anywhere, and even if I do get one in the next week or so, it’s not going to be soon enough to help out at this time. So if you have anything, anything at all, please consider helping us. Thank you in advance, Christina and Penny.
