“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”
“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.
“I don’t much care where” said Alice.
“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.
I had this urge to do a doodle of EAHs Cheshire Cat as a teen. The Cheshire we see in Spring Unsprung has kinda muted colors so she looks rather grey, maybe
it’s because she is supposed to be older than Kitty and separate them a
bit. I imagine that if she had more colors as a youngster, she would
pull towards the blue hues. Cheshire remind me a lot of Madonna, so I
thought it would be fun to put her in wild 80’s clothes! Gotta love the
80’s style XD
And since she look so prim and proper, like a real high class woman as an adult, it makes it so much more fun if she was a true wild kitten XD
I’ve got some new small original cat paintings in my shop this weekend! I am also having a sale, you can get 10% off anything in the store by using code DEV at checkout, even on paintings already marked as on sale. I’m having this sale because my studio cat Devalera is very sick, he’s been in the vet for three days and I am trying to raise funds to cover his rising bills. You can find original artwork, postcards and shirts at www.caitlinhackett.storenvy.com, or you can buy art prints of a wide range of my work at www.society6.com/caitlinhackettart
Thanks for following my art, and thanks for your support! <3

I’ve had to keep this painting secret while working on it, but now that the show is up I can reveal the final piece! My latest Alice in Wonderland themed painting is titled “I Am Not Myself”, it was created for the “Through The Looking Glass” group show at Hero Complex Gallery in conjunction with Disney, and coming out with the release of the new Disney Alice in Wonderland film.
