I didn’t have $8 for a tub of mascarpone, but I did have $3.50 for a similarly sized tub of ricotta. I mixed it with a little vanilla yogurt and a touch of honey for sweetness. The texture is still gritty from the ricotta, and the flavour definitely won’t be the same; but I like it nonetheless!
