19090 I’m not here dictating what kind of music people should release but I have to say I’m super disappointed with Julia Pierce’s new style and song, when Cherri Bomb became Hey Violet I was counting on Julia to bring that sound back. Cherri Bomb had so much potential to be a great female fronted ROCK band, so when Julia released what sounded like a pop song it was just the last nail in Cherri Bomb’s coffin. We’re probably never going to get anything like Cherri Bomb ever again.
Cherry Bomb is so rap-heavy that it’s like what’s the point of even having the vocal line when they only get 20 seconds of singing. The song was basically Mark ft. Taeyong ft. the rest. Also, the “if you’re happy and you know it clap your hands” part just seems so juvenile, random, and out of place.
everyone is such a critic about bands I like (Icon For Hire, New Years Day, Paramore and Cherri Bomb to name a few) and it really bums me out that people are more interested in bands personal lives more than the music
