Out of the Tennis Court.

We’re finally in the first week of the Championships of Wimbledon, so why not talk about one of the fashion trends inspired by tennis that hit both street style and catwalks?

During the 70s, Adidas created the Stan Smith, the iconic white trainers dedicated to the American tennis player, and a couple of years ago they had a huge comeback and their success in street style seems unstoppable.

Obviously, big brands and high street retailers could not just ignore the trend and battened down the hatches created their very own (not-so) tennis court shoes.

Zara, 15,99 - H&M, 19,99 - Bershka, £25,99

Bershka decided to mix two successful trends: the white sneakers with flower embroideries.

Michael Kors, £135 - Carvela Kurt Geiger, £140 - Gucci, £405.

I really love the pineapple detail, but the Kurt Geiger ones, with pink and gold details are the real winners.

What makes the white sneaker a  is its versatility. It’s casual enough to go with sport glam outfits and smart enough to be worn with day dresses.

Quiz, £36,99 - Adidas, £69,95

A perfect summer outfit for a pear shaped girl!
