cheap skittles

once in a science lesson in secondary school we had an activity to make a strand of dna using jelly babies, each jelly baby colour was a different nucleotide which we had to pair up properly.

anyway as you probably guessed we ran out of jelly babies because we fucking ate them all.

a year later, we’re using skittles for chromatography. it was just a really convenient source of dye because skittles are cheap and have lots of different colours.

guess what? we ate all of those too.

the people writing the lessons at my school were not very clever sometimes.
