Here is the first monthly bulletin “The Promise” issued yesterday, sharing details about the film and explaining their accompanying social impact campaign:

“The social impact campaign accompanying The Promise will educate the global public about the genocides and mass atrocities of the 20th and 21st centuries, the debate about the legal definition of genocide, and historical denialism. The impact campaign will inform and inspire people to take action so they become part of the anti-genocide movement led by human rights organizations and change-makers dedicated to ending crimes against humanity and bringing perpetrators to justice.”

so with the question about stuff u dislike and like in a novel, what are some of your favourite books?

My favorites always change depending on my mood. There are probably three or four dozen books I’d put on my favorites list on any given day. Some favorites: George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series is a favorite. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. The White Queen by Phillipa Gregory. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. The Road by Cormac McCarthy. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff.

Have a writing question? I’d love to hear from you! Please be sure to read my ask rules and master list first or your question will not be answered. :)

Let me wake up next to you, have coffee in the morning and wander through the city with your hand in mine, and I’ll be happy for the rest of my fucked up little life.

“My wish has always been to write my own story, to create a life that’s worth writing about. But is a story worth anything at all if I have no one to tell it to?” (Charlotte Eriksson, Empty Roads & Broken Bottles)
