The Gemini 9 crew, Charlie Bassett and Elliot See, talk with flight director Gene Kranz in Mission Control, 10/21/65. They were holding a simulation for the upcoming Gemini 6 flight, which at the time was supposed to launch on 10/25. Both Bassett and See would serve as capcoms during the mission.

The caption identifies Bassett as “Allen Bean,” even though they look nothing alike.
