2 adults dead in shooting at California elementary school
Two adults are dead and two students remain hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in an apparent murder-suicide inside a San Bernardino elementary school classroom.
San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said four people were shot, including two adults – the shooter and a female teacher – who were found dead in a classroom. Monica Garcia, of the San Bernardino Unified School District, said the shooting appeared to stem from a domestic violence dispute involving the shooter and teacher.
The school was locked down as law enforcement and fire-rescue vehicles swarmed the campus. Aerial video showed lines of students walking across campus recreation fields and basketball courts as authorities evacuated the school.
