change dashboard theme

it probably seems silly, but changing my dashboard theme made me feel less anxious about being on this site… so right now i’m less scared of opening my inbox, going on my dash, answering stuff, ect!

Eight Ways to Reach “Edit Theme”:
Tumblr recently removed the “Customize” link — used to edit your blog’s theme and pages — from the upper right of the Desktop Dashboard. Here are eight ways to reach “Edit Theme.”

  1. While logged into Tumblr, go to your blog’s home page and click the Edit Theme button in the upper-right corner.
  2. Visit https://www.tumblr.com/customize/ and bookmark it.
  3. Click the Account/Person icon in the upper right of the Dashboard. Click Edit Appearance. Scroll to the Edit Theme button and click it.
  4. Click the Account/Person icon in the upper right of the Dashboard. Click Settings. Scroll to the Edit Theme button and click it. April 21, 2015 Update: Settings now goes account settings and not your primary blog’s settings. You’ll need to click the blog in the right column, then scroll to the Edit Theme button and click it.
  5. Cursor over your avatar. Your blog’s popover appears. Click Edit Appearance. Scroll to the Edit Theme button and click it.
  6. Have a secondary blog? Use the Option+Tab (Mac) or Z+Tab (Windows) keyboard shortcut to select your side blog. Click Edit appearance in the top-right sidebar. Scroll to the Edit Theme button and click it.
  7. If you are viewing the Dashboard pages for your posts, followers, activity, drafts or queue, click Edit appearance in the top-right sidebar. Scroll to the Edit Theme button and click it.
  8. Brand new to Tumblr? You’ll be prompted with the "Hey, you have a blog" tip. From the pop-up tip, click Edit Appearance. Scroll to the Edit Theme button and click it.

If you want to know how to change your dashboard theme, ask me!

Stop asking me, because I have answered this question a million times…I’ve even tagged the answers with the same tag as this post…so if you were searching “change dashboard theme,” you would’ve seen this post and all of the questions that I’ve answered regarding it!

I’m always glad to help, but seriously this is getting out of hand. I get tons of questions every day about this. By the time I log onto tumblr and answer all of the questions, JUST FREAKIN’ USE GOOGLE! That’s what I did!

Now I’m trying to delete all the questions I’ve answered.
