✗ INFP are absolute idealists: they have values inside them which they really want to live by. This makes them good at encouraging other people's growth, but can cause them to be too hard on themselves. They can be shy and reserved, but they're incredibly passionate and intelligent individuals with an innate need to change the world. [x]
Fi: Sybil feels stifled under the old traditions of the world and life around her. She has passions and principles wholly separate from the beliefs of her family (feminism), and fights for others with whom she shares a sense of unity (finding external opportunities for others who want to leave the service). Sybil isn’t concerned with what others think about her, so long as she follows her heart.
Ne: The endless possibilities of the future excite her; she can see change coming and welcomes it. Sybil also sees through the facade of others; she understands them in ways they can’t expect, particularly Mary. Her quiet observances, over time, lead her to grand conclusions.
Si: Former feelings and experiences reinforce what is happening in the present; Sybil isn’t just living in this moment and the future, she’s also remembering prior encounters and conversations with Branson.
Te: Once she decides what she wants, Sybil pursues it – she isn’t afraid to take action. She also takes action for others, figuring out how to help them accomplish their goals and organizing them and the world around them so they can meet that goal.
