Location: Strategically located in the town center. Walking distance to massage parlour, street food, 7-11, Watson, Kim Yong market, etc. Central Mall is linked to the hotel at the 5th floor. Basically, you could get everything you need within walking distance. You could get the free shuttle to go to Central Festival Mall, a relatively new establishment in Hatyai.
We stayed at a standard room. The room size is spacious for 2. The bed is comfortable. The pillow is a bit soft/flat thou. Room amenities are good. Varieties of TV channel. There’s only one wall socket with universal specification. The door gap at the bottom seems a bit wider than the other rooms. So, people might be seeing you from the tile reflection. We noticed there are rooms with smaller gap. Perhaps the hotel can do something about it.
Service: The receptionists at the front desk speak good English. Request for a late check-out & granted to stay til 1pm. I was hoping that we get to stay til 3pm coz that’s our transportation pick-up time. Not sure if the hotel was fully booked.
Skylight Lobby Lounge: Great ambient with good live band performances. The drinks are reasonably priced. We had 2 cocktails, which were served with a small bowl of peanuts. We paid ~500baht including tips. The staff who served at the lounge demonstrated flawless hospitality.
Facilities: Average pool size. Gym equipments are enough for basic workout when you’re on vacation. Can’t really hope for a “real gym” standard. The changing room is clean & equipped with shampoo, soap, cottonbud, disposable comb, hair dryer, locker, etc. The sauna is clean & smell fresh, like a hint of pine-minty aroma.
