Sitting on top of the world: the Red Sky above Bangkok

One of the finest ways to experience a multi-million metropolis like Bangkok is to catch a bird´s eye view of the buzzing town while it transforms into a sea of light during the evening hours. The Red Sky, Centara´s latest addition to its collection of fine dining spaces, is probably the new number one among the uncountable roof-restaurants and sky-high bars of Bangkok. Located in the 55th floor of the Centara Grande Central World, the Red Sky offers a cozy dining experience and breathtaking al fresco vistas of Bangkok at a time.

Centara Hotel Hatyai - Part 2

Service: The receptionists at the front desk speak good English. Request for a late check-out & granted to stay til 1pm. I was hoping that we get to stay til 3pm coz that’s our transportation pick-up time. Not sure if the hotel was fully booked.

Skylight Lobby Lounge: Great ambient with good live band performances. The drinks are reasonably priced. We had 2 cocktails, which were served with a small bowl of peanuts. We paid ~500baht including tips. The staff who served at the lounge demonstrated flawless hospitality.

Facilities: Average pool size. Gym equipments are enough for basic workout when you’re on vacation. Can’t really hope for a “real gym” standard. The changing room is clean & equipped with shampoo, soap, cottonbud, disposable comb, hair dryer, locker, etc. The sauna is clean & smell fresh, like a hint of pine-minty aroma.
