Wine Country - Epesses, Switzerland

The lovely hills of Epesses is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Lavaux, home to many vineyard terraces. Most of the houses in the area date back to the 17th to19th century.

One of the best times to enjoy this quaint town is during the Caves Ouvertes. Many vineyards open up to the public for visits and wine tastings. Bring an empty stomach, camera, and good shoes to these events and you will have a wonderful day of wine, cheese, and beautiful landscapes.
