Cool Pinks teamed with Black winged liner, the perfect look for Valentine’s day!
I know Pink can be hard to wear as it can sometimes make you look like you have sore eyes. Cooler tones are a safer bet to avoid this happening and work really well. This doesn’t mean you have to rule out warmer tones completely!
Check out the tutorial for the details and ‘how-to’. I will post a photo along with a list of the products on a separate post.
@uvzy and anon, you were both so excited about these I couldn’t leave you hanging.
Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa
Kara, of course. Every time. It happens with the balcony door all the time. Usually after a steamy after work make out session, and it usually results in the door coming right off the hinges.
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them
Kara. She bought a notebook just for this purpose, because she once spaced out and it doodled a big heart in red pen on a contract that was on her desk, that she then brought to Lucy, which she still gets teased about.
Who starts the tickle fights
Carter. It started as an experiment. Is Supergirl ticklish? Yes. (Cat was already well aware how ticklish Kara is.)
Who starts the pillow fights
Cat. Kara doesn’t start much in the way of fights, even with pillows, because even a pillow is a weapon in the hands of Supergirl. (Kara plus pillow resulted in the worst nosebleed of Alex’s life.) But when Kara comes home from nights of superhero-ing, she’s usually pretty beat, and she steals the covers, and snores, and a pillow to the face is the only way for Cat to wake her up. Or at least get her to roll over.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile
Both. Days when Kara has to use a lot of power, she tends to fall asleep out on the terrace as she recharges, and Cat likes to go out and read in the sun, and look up every once and while just to take in how beautiful Kara.
Kara usually doesn’t get to bed until late. Cat’s already been asleep for hours, and Kara just likes to hold her, and look at her, and remind herself why she puts on the cape.
Who mistakes salt for sugar
Kara, obviously. She’s a disaster in the kitchen, and she inhales her food and coffee so quickly sometimes she doesn’t even notice.
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning
Kara. Because she gets home late and she’s starving. And why does everything on this damn planet have to beep. She brings it to the Winn who laughs, and takes out the offending, noise making parts.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines
Kara. Alex and Vasquez take great pleasure in feeding them to Kara, telling her that Cat will love them. They can’t wait to see the carnage, but Kara comes to the DEO the next day with a huge smile on her face, and thanks both of them. Cat didn’t have Lucky Charms for breakfast, but she was magically delicious. Apparently, there’s nothing more adorable to Cat Grant than her alien
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order
Cat! And friggin Kara keeps putting them back in the wrong places. “Seriously Kara. How have you managed to keep my schedule so organized, but you can’t put a book back in the right place.”
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies
Kara. The spoon, the beaters, the bowl. What’s a little salmonella to Supergirl.
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion
Cat, because she’s really a big softie. Kara lights them with a quick blast of heat vision.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen
Kara would never, ever.
But after a long day at the office, working late, Kara falls asleep on the couch, and her shirt has risen up, and that perfect stomach is peaking out at her, and with a wicked grin Cat takes her red Sharpie and puts “property of Cat Grant” right across it.
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation
Kara. Cat takes her to so many amazing places, and she makes so many wonderful memories. She keeps them on the fridge, where they frame Carter’s latest A+ assignment.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines
Kara tries, but Cat always rolls her eyes. Until Kara whips up her own, and sticks it in the back of a Cosmo that she leaves strategically placed on Cat’s desk at the end of the day, with a post it note saying, “You’ll want to do this one”. So grudgingly and with an eye roll, Cat flips to the back to find a survey titled, “Does Your Alien Want To Marry You?” And Cat gasps, and when she looks up Kara’s down on one knee in front of the desk.
