Wise words from Alexis herself:

“A crappy workout is better than no workout.”

Just know that you will not magically get a body that looks exactly like Alexis’s because you were born differently than her, and your bone structure may be different as well as your genetics. Please keep that in mind. To get rid of fat from your body, incorporate cardio into your workouts and to tone your body up, do strength training workouts. You will see results whenever you lose unwanted fat.

I'm trying to eat healthier but I don't know what to pick out in the grocery store. What are your staple food items?

Grains/Carbs: (ALL of these double as proteins, too!!)
-Brown rice / Jasmine rice
-Couscous (Israeli/Pearled Couscous is my fav)
-Buckwheat
-Quinoa (try to find organic/sustainably harvested if possible)

Protein:
-Lentils
-Beans (black, kidney, navy, etc.)
-Chia Seeds
-Tempeh
-Almonds/Cashews/Walnuts/other nuts

Veggies:
-Spinach
-Spring lettuce mix
-Carrots (great for spiralizing)
-Broccoli (I usually get organic flash-frozen broccoli)
-Tomatoes
-Cucumber (great for spiralizing)
-Peppers (red, orange, or yellow)
-Sweet Potatoes
-Avocado

Fruit:
-BANANAS
-Apples
-Frozen strawberries, blueberries, mangoes (for smoothies)
-
Nectarine/Plums/other stone fruit
-Raspberries (these are more expensive but I usually just put a handful on top of my smoothies in the morning, so a container lasts me 4-6 days)

Other:
-Spirulina powder
-Wheatgrass powder
-Almond Milk
-Canned Coconut Milk, full fat (for making vegan whip cream. place in the fridge, when needed turn over can and open, pour out excess liquid and whip in blender/with electric mixer)
-Fruit Leather
-Granola bars/energy such as clif bars, lara bars, etc.
-Almond Butter
-Coconut Oil
-Amy’s Organic Canned Soups (THE BEST)

Hope that helped! xo
