There’s four this time so I’ll keep it short I swear
Meet Casey Walker (Case Worker), a defence lawyer dedicated to protecting the rights of villains. She is the embodiment of cool and collected. She’s apparently adept in many different certified professions, but this one seems to be her newest favourite so she’s been sticking to it for the last while. Very few of her clients are convicted (and those who are convicted are very… special cases), somewhat because she generally only take cases where a villain’s rights are being infringed upon, mostly because she is the loophole queen.
Pao Lú (Lú Pao, Loophole) is a fourth grader and Casey’s self-appointed apprentice. She will attend every one of Casey’s trials, to the point of skipping classes (Casey ain’t her mom, she can’t tell Pao what to do. ‘course Pao does extra homework to ‘make up’). She takes her training very seriously. So seriously that she will treat every misdemeanor at school as a trial.
“As you can see, the time difference between the accused’s arrival to and departure from the hallway is three seconds, clearly not enough to have committed nor set up this supposed ‘prank’. George and Harold are not guilty.” And then she’ll get sent to the principal’s office for her ‘sass’.
Lawrence Lawe (dare you to guess the pun), of Lawrence Lawe’s Law Firm. He spends his days defending heroes from lawsuits. Lawrence will defend his client to the end, he’ll just be really angry while doing it. Ask him if he actually likes his job and you’ll be met with a very strained “YES”, but he really does mean it. He just has to deal with idiots on a constant, consistent basis. “You threw the criminal through a window? Well, why did you DO THAT?!”
Atta Roni (Attorney) is a teen living with Lawrence for reasons the duo won’t state. She’s a free-spirited ditz. She wears her studded bracelets and tutu with the pride of someone who wanted to wear clothes. Sometimes she’ll help Lawrence with his cases. Whether she actually helps is debatable.
She calls her superhero alter-ego “Atta Girl” (as that’s what Lawrence says to her when she aids in winning a case), but she doesn’t actually have any powers. She just throws beads at people or something. She’s an excellent distraction, at the very least.
