When you’re obsessed with architecture, you suddenly realize how much you can relate to it. Maybe I feel so attracted to Mario Botta’s Casa Rotonda because it is something i can relate to.
I built walls so thick and strong around myself, when someone tries to break it down, I fight and struggle and do all I can to push them away. I don’t know exactly what made me become like this. These masonry walls Botta describe as a form of protection, they indeed protect the vulnerable, fragile glass windows and the home within.
