5 Cartoonists Who Hated Their Work

You’ve heard of Rise of the Bravely Tangled Dragons, now get ready for

My Little Star Steven Falls Over Yonder Bears with Finn, Jake, Phineas and Ferb

Today I saw something on Tumblr that I wanted to share with everyone…

This broke my heart when i saw this. Steven Universe does not belong to anyone, not the LGBTQ, not women, not kids, NOT ANYONE!!

Steven Universe is a show that includes a lot of social justice topics, and guess what…

…Social justice is for EVERYONE.

Not just the minority being persecuted, or even the majority representing them. A cis straight male is allowed to enjoy Steven Universe. And if you don’t like it, you can leave Tumblr because you’re not wanted.

Even though it’s from crackmccraigen and the Wander Over Yonder crew’s perspective of how an animated show process goes,

This applies to all of your favorite animated shows currently airing! Even Gravity Falls!

And to the artists/animators wanting to get in, or currently working in the industry, these are good points to think about.

If you follow one of these series, like or share

I need a lot more of these on my dash:

⋅ Steven Universe
⋅ Gravity Falls
⋅ We Bare Bears
⋅ Wander Over Yonder
⋅ Star Vs. The Forces of Evil
⋅ My Little Pony
⋅ Adventure Time
⋅ Other Random Cartoons
⋅ Pls I need more
⋅ I should be studying rn
⋅ Or even adulting

Hey Jax mind if I ask you you're Top 10 favorite Cartoons :)

Wooo Okay this sounds like fun. Gimme a sec

*cracks knuckles*

For starters I just wanna say there are many Cartoon Network, Classic Nickelodeon, Disney, Kids WB and Fox Kids shows I love but these are the ones that never dipped in quality for me. Like for example Dexters Lab, All the TMNTs and Rugrats kinda went downhill, these all stayed uphill or the same to me.

My Personal Favorite Cartoons I can re-watch all the way through at anytime

2)  Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra

3) Young Justice

4) Hey Arnold

5) Star Wars Clone Wars (the 2003 version, what the prequels shouldve been)

6) Invader Zim

I dont like bronies. Not because they watch a show targeted for little kids, thats fine. I dont like them because the SEXUALIZE a show targeted for little kids. Because of them little kids cant look up pictures and stuff about the show. That goes for any fandom.

Dont sexualize characters in a show targeted for kids. This includes:

  • Star vs The Forces of Evil
  • Gravity Falls
  • Steven Universe
  • MLP
  • OTGW
  • Basically anything on Nick, Disney, or Cartoon Network

If you sexualize characters from kids shows, unfollow me.

Also great shout out to Lauren Faust! The Bronies and Wanderers will be celebrating (even though Lauren isn’t involved for Season 2)!

WOOOOOO!!!!!! Actually, I was anticipating Gravity Falls or Steven Universe to win cause they’re actually better episodes than The Breakfast. But I guess I was surprised to see this coming. But congrats to the other nominees as well.

Alex Hirsch got an Annie Last Year for Gravity Falls Show

Craig McCracken got one for this year. Both are even!
