can you believe dean meninist forest got a happier ending than most of the other gilmore girls characters? can you believe that we know more about dean’s life than the lives of lane, jess and logan combined?
so i’ve seen many people hating on that new development of jeremy and katherine and i’m gonna tell you why i am acutally intrigued by it.
see when he gave her that jacket? that woman right in front of him practically killed him and he still has compassion for her. it was such a bittersweet moment. like can you imagine anyone being nice to katherine in the last few decades just for the sake of being nice? and you could tell that she was genuinely suprised by his gesture.
katherine has not been really fighting, just playing & betraying people and using them for her own purpose and letting them die to save her own skin. that’s what she did for the last hundred years, it’s all she has known.
“that’s why people treat you like an object and not like a person.” and that’s when jeremy comes along, the guy who she got killed in the past and whose sister she terrorized. katherine is stripped down to her humanity and in a vulnerable state right now and jeremy obviously triggered something in her.
katherine has been running all her life and now she comes back to save jeremy. and she fights, she’s not taking the easy way out - and she fights silas (someone she’s running from).
no matter if you hate human!katherine, think this pairing is wrong or ship it romantically or as friendship, YOU CAN’T DENY THIS DYNAMIC IS FUCKING INTERESTING.
here’s a reminder that octavia’s life on the ark was hell. she had to sleep under the floor and hide from everyone, her mother had to prostitute herself to keep her safe and octavia herself was imprisoned for literally being alive.
so before you shit on her for being upset about lincoln in a guard inform - think about what that sight means to her, what it triggers in her.
octavia blake is so much more than just a warrior girl. she’s still a girl whose feelings are valid and who’s allowed to cry.
