when the beatin’s vinyl package was first conceived, we made envelopes filled with the detritus of the writing and recording process; drafts of lyrics, snapshots, ticket stubs from shows we saw during that time, bar tabs, mexican lottery tickets and the like. there were only 75 of these packets made, and if you were lucky enough to get one, please enjoy your unique snippet of DNA creativity (or conversely, if you would like to exchange it for something else, write to me at thebeatingsband@gmail.com. no questions asked).

i am down to just a few precious pieces of “detritus” and instead of packing them up and off, or fabricating post-process detritus, i’m making one of a kind collages to go into the last mailings to writers, bloggers and aficionadoes and will be documenting them here.
