Squid Colors Squids, can change the colour of their skin in the blink of an eye. When I was stand in front of this squid with my camera,(in Roatan, Honduras) she changed the colour several times in few seconds. She can do it because she has thousands of colour-changing cells called chromatophores. The main reason to explain why these animals changed the colour is to hide from predators. But they can do it also to attract females or to repel other males.

Super stoked to leave on my family vacation tomorrow. We drive down to Seattle, catch a red eye to Ft. Lauderdale, drive to Orlando, go to Disney (maybe), Universal Studios (ie: just spend 2 days at Hogwarts), go to an Orlando Magic vs Toronto Raptors game, then drive back to Ft. Lauderdale, catch the ship and spend 7 days cruising around the Caribbean, stopping in the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Grand Kayman Islands and Jamaica.

And what’s more is I’m doing all of this with my super awesome and hilarious family, most of whom will be legal drinking age at all the ports and we can all proceed to get drunk on a daily basis whilst away.

All in all this is going to be a super fun trip. Minus the flying component… I hate flying.
