The dog suspected of attacking the boy was captured, euthanized, autopsied, and skeletonized. Discovering the victim’s tissues within the dog’s stomach and “matching” the dog’s teeth to bite marks found on the child confirmed that the captured dog was, in fact, responsible for the child’s death.
I’m sick of people complaining about Daryl’s ‘’ man pain ‘’.
It’s seriously insulting, demeaning, condescending and incredibly unnecessary.
It seems as though people have forgotten the awful childhood Daryl had. His mother dying, his brother, who while cared for him, also treated him like crap and an incredibly abusive father who’s caused serious damage to him and his brother.
With that, Daryl is extremely kind hearted underneath his ‘’ rough exterior ‘’, has empathy, compassion and, unfortunately, takes on guilt.
Seeing Negan and The Saviors forcing themselves on them, trying to control them, take their stuff, attacking him and his people, bashing Abraham’s head in, bashing Glenn’s head in after he had punched him is bound to make him feel guilt and traumatize him further. Even though it wasn’t actually his fault. And not only that, his identity was stolen, everything literally taken from him, he was captured, forced to eat dog food sandwiches, suffering malnourishment, suffering from beatings, insults, emotional torture from being forced to see his friend’s bashed head and overall physical and emotional damage.
That experience is bound to have re-sparked some trauma from his childhood. It is an extremely traumatizing and painful thing to witness and go through.
Sure, I do agree that the show should have focused on Maggie a bit more than they did but they didn’t and there’s nothing that will change that.
That isn’t an excuse to undermine Daryl. That isn’t an excuse to insult him, make fun of him or act as though this shouldn’t affect him. Because it did, and it does, understandably so, and, most of all,
