TOMO IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE BADASS IN THIS SCENE OMG

I love how he super-politely destroys Sakaki’s douchebag brother. So I guess he’s a board member as well and probably the person who has been directly coercing Tomo, though in true VN fashion they never make this important stuff clear.

Anyway! THIS IS ABOUT TOMO BEING AWESOME OKAY

We originally played this route waaaay back at the very beginning of our GH2 obsession, and now that we know the full story of the game, it’s even more amazing than before.

I’d almost go so far as to say you could just play Tomo’s route and stop, and that would be a damn near complete representation of the game. And playing Sakaki’s immediately after Tomo’s would fill in almost all of the rest. I think all you’d be missing is the Sonoda angle, plus other interesting bits that are scattered throughout the other routes.

I hope they end up mashing that all together in the manga…

Disney Animated Films: Best/Worst | EW.com

I know I shouldn’t expect good taste from Entertainment Weekly, but this is awful even for them.

They put Sleeping Beauty on the worst list.

WHAT. THE. FUCK?!?!

In my opinion, it is the best Disney film, at least prior the 2nd golden age (which began with The Little Mermaid). Reasons why it is one of the best:

  1. Prince Phillip is one of their better princes (my favourite, in fact)
  2. The animation, inspired by medieval art, is gorgeous.
  3. The comic relief eschews the sophomoric (a problem which plagued later films).
  4. Aurora may not be as dynamic as Belle or Mulan, but I’ll take her over Cinderella or Snow White any day. She has a sly smile that hints at a more complex personality than the film can afford time for.
  5. Tchaikovsky
  6. and most importantly, MALEFICENT. She is the best Disney villain, elegant and truly terrifying. SHE TURNS INTO A FUCKING DRAGON.

I could go on, but this should suffice. I also have other issues (Hunchback on the best? Robin Hood on the worst?) but this is the one I simply could not abide.
