Hi my name is Delphie Dark'ness Dementia Raven Voldemort and I have long silver hair (that’s how I got my name) with purple streaks and red tips that reaches my mid-back and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like Bellatrix Lestrange (AN: if u don’t know who she is get da hell out of here!). I have pale white skin like my dad, Voldemort. I’m also a witch, and I go to a magic school called Hogwarts in England where I’m in the seventh year (I’m seventeen). I’m a goth (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly black. I love Knockturn Alley and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black corset with matching lace around it and a black leather miniskirt, pink fishnets and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, white foundation, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking outside Hogwarts. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of mudbloods stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

Currently taking a break from doing art for the book and decided to play around with some sketches I had lying around. I decided to fully flesh this doodle out because quite a few folks has asked me about whether or not I was gonna draw Daring Do in the past, so here she is! My headcanon version of A.K Yearling, aka Daring Do.

As much as I liked the episode that featured A.K as an actual pony, what really bothered me about the character was that she was LITERALLY a recolor of Rainbow Dash, and that’s about it. The design was originally fine with me the first time they introduced her because Dash was reading the book and, because of that, it made sense that she looked like Dashie ‘cause it felt like she was pretty much seeing the adventure through Daring’s eyes. But if they were gonna make her an actual, living pony, I think they could have done something a little more than just change her color palette. :/ So I made sure she didn’t look like a carbon copy of RD.

What I did was take a picture of J.K Rowling and loosely base A.K’s face off of hers (specifically her eyes and mouth; I just had to add those laugh lines). I also gave her some markings just ‘cause I can. As a seasoned adventurer and explorer, I made A.K taller, heavier, and more muscular than what RD is, and her wings are larger. I wanted her to look as wise and as experienced as she seemed in the show, someone that could really wow RD because she just seemed larger than life itself, and still haven’t lost her edge despite being nearly 50.

As a better comparison, I added the headcanon drawing I did of RD a while ago and put them side by side; you can see it HERE

And finally, some headcanon on her history:

Okay, so for the headcanon on this character. This is completely off the top of my head so bear with me here. :/

A.K Yearling’s full name is Atlas Kiera Yearling, and she is a mare that is initially an archaeologist and an author of textbooks. Originally the digs and sites she’s been to around the world were, of course, interesting, but none really had any of the huge adventuring and possible conspiracy elements that her adventure for the artifact the Sapphire Stone did. This was basically the very first adventure that really put her at odds against Ahuizotl, her efforts in retrieving the artifact both saving the world and putting a wrench in the creature’s plans.

It’s from here on out that more adventures similar to this one began to dominate her archaeology career, her skill-set becoming more and more sought out when it came to discovering and retrieving very rare or difficult-to-locate artifacts. It eventually got to a point where A.K began conducting her business in solitude, with only her contractor and perhaps the occasional aid knowing of her whereabouts. These journeys would more on one occasion lead her to an artifact Ahuizotl had plans of stealing himself, and eventually it became something of a strange routine in an attempt to best the other; one for the sake of discovering, the other for the use of artifacts in an attempt to further ill-willed motives. The two share a grudging respect for the other due to their prowess in the field, but that’s about it.

These adventures happened often enough that, during her downtime, Atlas began writing stories based on her life under the pen-name A.K Yearling. The stories, when finally published, were such a large hit that it eventually became a series with the main Heroine dubbed Daring Do, an alias she used during her first encounter with Ahuizotl so he wouldn’t know of her actual name.

Until then, if you have any questions feel free to ask. And thanks for droppin’ by! ^.^

Just a couple of doodles I did that may be one of  the small prints I make for the individual characters, especially since Bulk Biceps seemed to be one of the many I was asked about at my booth. :3 But that’s not the only reason why I drew these two; it’s also because I actually REALLY adore Bulk Biceps and Featherweight. Bulk is adorable, and so is Featherweight, so of course I should make a proper character ref… thing, for them. c:

Alright, so for some headcanon. For those of you who don’t know, Bulk Biceps is the father of Featherweight in my headcanon. Featherweight was the result of an unplanned pregnancy between a young Bulk and his then girlfriend, and while Bulk told her he’d accept any decision she made regarding the foal she ultimately decided to just carry the foal to term instead of having an abortion. That said, however, while she didn’t have the abortion she may as well tried to have terminated the pregnancy herself; she heavily smoked and drank while pregnant and ultimately didn’t take care of herself (despite Bulk’s pleas for her to do so). This ultimately resulted in little Featherweight being born premature, very sickly and small. But regardless, the first time Bulk held his son, he knew he’d do anything to keep him healthy, happy, and safe.

Bulk Biceps took on his new role as a father whole-heartedly, however the mother simply couldn’t care less about either of them. She saw both as a hitch in her life, and basically ditched her boyfriend and her newborn foal to do whatever the hell she wanted. The only times she ever came back to the apartment was to sleep, and that was far and few inbetween chances. Finally, after months of trying to put up with her unresponsible habits and neglecting their son, Bulk Biceps demanded that she leave, which she did. That left him with poor little Featherweight to raise on his own.

Equestria has a financial system in an attempt to help out single parents, but even with that extra money struggles was seen. Bulk did a lot of job hopping (the jobs he found payed either too little or asked for him to be away from home for too long), sometimes going without meals to pay bills and buy the nutrients and supplies needed for taking care of his son, and of course other sorts of hardships that came with being a single parent.

But despite it all, Bulk found himself at his happiest with the little foal. And of course, he didn’t go through it completely alone; his best buddy Thunderlane would help out by watching little Featherweight when he babysat his own baby brother, as well as help him look for suitable jobs.

Nowadays, everything is much better. Bulk Biceps managed to find a decent job that had flexible hours, he found a better apartment (his previous landlord was an asshole, the new one’s a sweetheart), and best of all, Featherweight grew stronger every day until, eventually, the supplements weren’t needed (the colt still has asthma, but it’s exercised induced and easier to manage if he keeps himself healthy).

So here we see Featherweight as a teenager. Happy, healthy (if a bit thin) and doing what he loves; photography. Featherweight’s just as much as a sweetheart like his dad is, but he’s perhaps a little more outgoing than Bulk is. He’s smart as a whip and is surprisingly a good runner, despite his asthma, but his real passion lies within photography. He once thought he’d dissappoint his dad because of this (weightlifting kinda runs in the family, but Bulk’s physical strength wasn’t passed to Feather), but he quickly found out that he needn’t worry; Bulk more than willing to support whatever his son wants to do for a career if it makes him happy.

Featherweight and Bulk Biceps have a strong relationship with one another; they’re the best of buds, they are. C:

So yeah. Just a bit of headcanon for ya’ll. If you have any questions feel more than free to ask! ^.^

A watercolor sketch I did because I promised that, upon meeting my first milestone goal at Patreon, I’d do it. So…. I did! My patreons voted unanimously for Zecora, and I definitely can’t blame them; I was actually planning on doing one for her myself, so it’s a win/win sitch for everyone involved! :3

So, here she is! One of the best background characters in the show, the ever so wise Zecora.

I don’t know what it is about this character, but she is just immensely likable. I’d go so far to say that she’s one of my favorite BG characters, even though I don’t draw her nearly as much as I should. :C But she’s great. I especially like her mane; so much fun to draw. ;_; But yeah, headcanons.

I’ve always seen Zecora as a mare in like… her mid thirties. I’d say early fourties, but that might be kinda pushing it for her. Regardless, I see her as being quite a bit older than the Mane 6, and while still being young, she has seen more than what the average equine would and is far wiser well beyond her years. She’s very patient, sometimes of which many would say it was limitless, friendly, and makes for a great teacher and guide (as we’ve seen quite a few times in the canon show).

I like to think of Zecora as a highly esteemed shamaness of her country and has acted as an ambassador for Zebrica in more than one occassion (and as such, has indeed met with the princesses on a few occassions). It’s not only her wit that makes her formidable, but also her magical prowess. Her aura is absolutely teeming with the sharp tang of alchemy-esque magic, and her presence can often have an effect that’s actually almost similar to being in the presence of one of the princesses. What by mean by that is, you can tell, feel, she is powerful. And is someone you really don’t want to make angry. This is one of the reasons the citizens of Ponyville reacted the way they did when first seeing her.

Despite all of this, she is easily likable, her rhymes are charming, and her disposition often leads others to seek her out for guidance or help, much like one would toward a mother or a wise mentor. She’s also widely popular with those who prefer more naturalistic remedies.

I’ve the headcanon that she’s actually pretty close to the Mane 6. I can go on and on about how they interact with one another on an individual level and so on, but that’d make this post super long so I won’t. Unless you guys want me to. >.>

But yeah. There’s some of the headcanon I have for good ol’ Zecora. I think that’s it for now (I’d write more, but I’m super tired), but as always, feel free to ask questions if you have any. Other than that, thanks for dropping by and taking a look! :3

**NOTE: Please forgive the quality of the photo; I’ll have to retake it when there’s better sunlight out o3o**

This is a speedpainting I did for the con that I finished today. I had the lineart finished for a while, but last night struck a creative cord in me, and I ended up painting. This, is the result! Painted on Canvas with Acrylics and Glitter.

So several of ya have been asking me about drawing Nightmare Moon, so I went ahead and used her for this painting. It’s of the mare staring off into the darkness (she’s probably on the moon or something), thinking hard about something that’s troubling her. What that is can vary, so have fun coming up with theories. c:

I really like how this came out, considering how big it is and how fast I managed to finish it. I managedd to get it done far faster than what I expected (in about 3-4 hours), and I’m quite satisfied with the outcome. And once again, I decided to use glitter to help paint the image for a second time. I used it on her hair, and I have to say, I REALLY like the look the glitter gives the paintings. I really wish you guys could see it for real; this photo is very poor in quality (it was taken on my phone), so it won’t show you how her hair actually sparkles when in motion.

That said, however, those who are going to the con CAN see this bad boy in real life! I’d like to get a better photo of it in case I want prints, but the primary reason I painted this was because I’m gonna try to sell her at the con. She will be among one or two other original paintings I will attempt to sell at the con. Like the others, she’s the only one I’ve painted, so once she’s bought there will be no more of her. I’m actually debating on not even selling prints, and making her an original painting exclusive only. So if anyone is interested and is attending the con, this is your heads-up. C: And if she doesn’t sell that the con, she’ll on sale here.

Okay, so I think that’s it for now?As usual, feel free to ask me any questions you may have, and thank you for stopping by! C:
