your pictures are gorgeous! you might have answered this before, but what camera/lens do you use?

Thank you!! All photos from the trip were shot with one of the following: : A canon rebel T1i with a 28-135mm canon lens, an iPhone 6, a Fujifilm INSTAX 210, or a Polaroid PIC-300P. We edit with VSCO cam and CS6

But the flood is over! We can’t wait to post about the actual wedding when we get our photos back from our photographer!

anonymous asked:

you probably get this a lot (sorry) but what kind of camera do you use / what's a good way to put down the iPhone camera and get into photography without breaking the bank?

I use any camera that is within reach. I actually dont think you should put down the iphone if youve been practicing with it. Camera gear is so expensive. You can easily get a bunch of Moment lenses that clip unto the back of your iphone and they tranform your the pcitures you take. But if you want to know so much about gear.

I shoot with

a Canon 6d
a Canont5i
a Canon 17-35mm f/2.8 L (has a drop of water in it)
a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
a Canon EF 50mm 1.8
and a Canon EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6

a good starting point would be

a Canon t5i
a Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6

Hope This Helps. Have a Wonderful Day

Getting back to the roots:

I’ve started using my first lens, the Canon USM 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6.

It’s kind of out of slacking off, I don’t want to change lenses all the time. I can easily see the trade off between sharpness and versatility.

I think it’s a sign I can move to a new camera with trading all my lenses. I’m itching for the sense of discovery.
