can't wait for the long weekend

Chapter One: We Ain’t Never Had Terran Before

page delay!

[ Slight dramatization ]

As visitors of the streams may know, Eruto’s laptop has been rapidly deteriorating and is now to the point where it will overheat and shut off after just a few minutes! No laptop means she can’t work on Caretaker, and without her, there is no Caretaker comic!

But there is good news! Thanks to your extremely generous coffee contributions Eruto is already in the process of building a suped up desktop that will be 1000x better than the toaster she calls a laptop! She’s just waiting on one last piece of hardware to be delivered and once it’s here we will be back in business and better than ever before. This piece will be arriving sometime at the end of the week.

Until then, we reluctantly must accept the facts:

Thursday’s page will be delayed until this weekend.

Rest assured that as long as nothing else goes wrong, Monday’s page will still come out on time. Thanks for bearing with us!

Finally adding another to the dark armor collection \o/

I just have to say I'm losing my mind about this whole Defenders book thing. New Avengers (Vol. 1 & 2) is my favorite book in large part because of these characters and your writing of them. Its the series that brought me back into comics many years ago now. We might not have gotten you doing Heroes for Hire, but I'll gladly take this. I can't wait.

It was never going to be called heroes for hire. One of the delays was coming up with a name that wasn’t heroes for hire because as you will soon see they are very rarely hired :-)

thank you. And I’ve got so many notes here because of my long ass defenders post. we will start to do press next weekend the free comic book Day story launches on the 6th of May.

here’s another sneak because I’m plotting over here!~

Hello there! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

I’m back home! How are you?? I hope you all had a lovely weekend! <3 As I’ve already written in my last post, I spent these days far from home (and from books&notes) and boy, did I need that. My boyfriend and I went to one of his friend’s house and we had lots of fun!! :) Also, we both needed some fresh air XD

yay :D

creepy cibia is creepy

I don’t know about you, but I’m not really used to this kind of portion (and the picture doesn’t do it justice!) XD I failed miserably, ahah (no doubt from the beginning – thank god you can ask for a doggy bag), but it was very good!

Then we went to an American-diner-inspired-restaurant/bar and I was so happy because I’ve never had the chance to try anything like that so far! The maximum we got here is a pizzeria with a pirate ship inside, but the food kinda sucks (oops). And my boyfriend basically stayed in the bathroom the whole time because everytime you go in there the Happy Days theme song starts playing lol. Anyway, they said they make the best milkshakes in the whole Veneto region and so I had to try one :’) (despite the fact that I was full because of the (half???)burger I had at the Canadian’s place)

no cibia don’t do that it’s creepy stop smiling and hide yourself somewhere in the darkness

What else can I say…nothing cibia, we don’t care, well, we tried the Resident Evil 7 demo on Playstation VR and my boyfriend got so scared that he fucking hit me XD it was an accident, but still- ahahah XD and then we played Mansions of Madness and holy crap that game is awesome. I mean, I’ve never been a very big fan of board games (I usually don’t have enough time to play them – and friends to play with *cough*) but this one completely (and positively) floored me! Actually, I may just download the app and explore all of the scenarios even if I don’t own the physical copy of the game lol I’m such a sucker for creepy things, ah (´∇ノ`*)ノ

Long story short, I had fun and I’m a bit sad that it’s already over ;; especially because I’m back to studying mode now (still three exams to do…wtf such a bore I WANT TO DRAW MY BABIES ARGH) -_- oh well…oh, anyway, I got 30/30 in my English exam and I’m so happy! :) At least one 30 ahah cibia you lazy thing …mhn…Are you still reading this? Wow! Thank you for your attention! :D Have a nice day! <3

here’s a thought. don’t force/manipulate/guilt trip your child into going to church.

My neighbours have a three year old boy, and the mum and him have gone away for a weekend but the dad couldn’t come cause of work and now he’s building his kid a climbing frame for a surprise when they get back and he’s been working at it solidly for almost seven hours now? This is so cute I can’t wait to see the kids reaction when they get back

Hi Liza, Lilo over here... So, this is it, final weekend before another long hiatus. I think it's time to look back at the AMAZING season we had, from top to bottom, there were some weak episodes but who cares! It was the Captain Swan Ultimate Season!! and I can't wait to what's in store for us in the next one. ABC gave us the ship of dreams and I'm so grateful to be on board. so excited about the season finale and now that I think about it, the lift kiss is just about moving in finally together

Yes, let’s celebrate the awesomeness of season 5!

I just did a quick and dirty count and by my estimation, we got:

  • FOURTEEN new and wonderful and passionate kisses (with hopefully at least 2 more to come)
  • A glorious cheek kiss… actually more like a half dozen joyful, exuberant cheek kisses all at one time.
  • An improvised hand kiss, that none of us will ever be over.
  • At least 7 new hugs (with more to come)
  • Four heartfelt reunions (with more to come)
  • A heartbreaking ride on the Jolly Roger
  • Another gown and another dance at another ball
  • An achingly romantic horseback ride through an enchantingly romantic meadow to a breathtaking romantic field of rare flowers.
  • One flower given and one flower kept, and cherished.
  • A ring. No one can ever take that away from us! Killian Jones gave Emma Swan the ring he thought made him a survivor. And then she kept it safe and sound around her neck.
  • Declarations galore! Oh, so many ILYs.
  • And oh so many sacrifices. All for the other.
  • So many tears shed. (us and them) We finally saw Killian Jones crying. Killian Jones crying over Emma Swan.
  • AND… no biggie… a TRUE LOVE confirmation by the Gods.

We also got dozens, upon dozens of new quotes from Colin and Jennifer, the captains of our ship.   That, my friend, is certainly a LOT to celebrate!

The Cat
  • John: I'm leaving the vials you asked for in the... Sherlock?
  • Sherlock: Hm?
  • John: There's a cat in my chair.
  • Sherlock: *gets up and pets the tabby* Oh, yes. He likes your spot.
  • John: *deadpanned* My spot? First of all, it isn't my spot. I don't have a spot. I live with Mary now.
  • Sherlock: *scowling* Ah, yes. How could I forget? The wedding. The sex holiday.
  • John: *with a terse smile* Yes. That would be the one.
  • Sherlock:
  • John:
  • Sherlock: ... *annoyed* What John?
  • John: You have a cat!?
  • Sherlock: Well-
  • John: You've replaced me with a cat and you're letting it get hair all over my chair!
  • Sherlock: I thought it wasn't your chair.
  • John: *throws hands up* Fine. It's getting hair all over the chair.
  • Sherlock: What would you like me to do? Alter its DNA so it stops growing hair?
  • John: *walks over and shoos it away*
  • Sherlock: *shaking his head* Well that wasn't very nice.
  • John: *eyes narrowed* You're the one that bought a cat and let it roam all over the flat.
  • Sherlock: I didn't buy-
  • John: You replaced me with a cat. *sinks back into the chair*
  • Sherlock: I didn't buy a cat and I didn't replace you.
  • John: ... *a pause* You stole someone's cat!
  • Sherlock: *grinning* No. Why on Earth would I do that? ... Okay, well I would. But I haven't. He's just staying for the weekend.
  • John: You're pet sitting?
  • Sherlock: She couldn't have left the animal alone for 3 days
  • John: Have you really no clients? Are you that bored? Are- wait.
  • Sherlock: *smile growing*
  • John: Who's cat is that, Sherlock?
  • Sherlock: Molly's.
  • John: *quizzically* And why can't Molly's cat stay with Molly?
  • Sherlock: He is staying with Molly.
  • John: *grinning* Should I assume Whiskers over there isn't the only one staying for the weekend? *raises a brow*
  • Sherlock: *snarls* Oh for heavens sake, John. Yes. Of course. Assume away. As long as it's from your own flat far away from here. *shooing John out the door*
  • John: Okay. Okay. I'm leaving. *cheekily* You have replaced me.
  • Sherlock: ... Possibly.
  • John: Well, at least it's not with that cat. *chuckles*
  • Sherlock: *rolls his eyes* Bye John! *from the doorway* And his name is Toby!
