andrew goes on to play exy professionally because it’s all he knows. it’s a borrowed obsession and he knows neil will play pro until he physically can’t anymore. so he joins a professional team, and he keeps playing. for years. until eventually he figures out what he wants to do with his life
he wants to work with kids. he wants to help vulnerable kids because no one ever helped him. so he retires and he becomes a social worker and for probably the first time in his life he has a passion. something he loves doing, that makes him feel good. something that makes him feel like he has a place in the world
They hacked us, you know that. It’s all over the news. Now, normally a company can get through this, but we’re a cyber security company. Can you appreciate how bad that is? We’re hanging on by our fingernails. Who knows? Maybe we’ve already fallen off a cliff and I’m still trying to grasp on to something. I’m a failure.
I am not a good man! I am not a bad man. I am not a hero. And I’m definitely not a president. And no, I’m not an officer. Do you know what I am? I am an idiot, with a box and a screwdriver. Just passing through, helping out, learning. I don’t need an army. I never have, because I’ve got them. Always them.
Don’t know if this is worth mentioning, since nothing is confirmed, but it looks like we might have another crew member? A black girl this time? I hope she’s on the crew! It would be amazing to see not one, but two people of color on the crew at once. Especially a black woman.
Neurogenders aren’t ableist or romanticization of neurodivergencies. They’re just a way for people to label themselves when they feel that their gender is heavily influenced by their neurodivergencies.
You can’t claim that neurodivergence influences every aspect of someone’s life and then turn around and say that it can’t influence gender.
Does anyone know at what age magic typically manifests? Like, I remember that Vivienne was taken to the circle at such a young age that she doesn’t remember her parents, but I also think(?) I remember Anders sayings he was like 10 when he was taken to the circle and that he remembers his family. Is there like a certain age when magic usually appears or can it just turn up randomly at any point during childhood?
