can't have the other one without this one

  • Tim: I'm not Batman. I have friends.
  • Ra's: You sure about that?
  • Tim: Yeah! Like Conner.
  • Ra's: He died.
  • Tim: Oh yeah. Well what about Bart?
  • Ra's: He died too
  • Tim: Lonnie?
  • Ra's: Coma
  • Tim: Steph?
  • Ra's: Faked her death without telling you and now you can't trust her
  • Tim: *scratches head* Well I guess I still have my siblings-
  • Ra's: Two of them hate you and the other one has no time for you
  • Tim: ...
  • Tim: ...
  • Tim: ...
  • Tim: Okay but at least I'm still not Batma-
  • Ra's: Out of all your siblings you are the one most similar to Batman in skill, emotional distance, intelligence, and traumatic experience
  • Tim: *cries and stomps away in frustration*

There’s no human bond that compares to what Alec and I have. We’re bound together for life. Bound to fight together, to protect each other. In battle, our hearts beat as one. If one of us were to diea part of the other would die inside as well.

Jace is a part of me. Through our rune we’re both physically and emotionally connected. If he dies, a part of me dies, too.

Without Ashton, this band would just be a trio, stuck doing covers on youtube and not having any successful gigs without a drummer.

Without Calum, this band would be stuck doing covers on youtube and having little-to-no originality because Calum’s the best songwriter in that band.

Without Michael, this band wouldn’t even exist since he’s the one who said to Luke, “Hey, lets make a band!”

Without Luke, the idea of this band wouldn’t exist and he’d be stuck doing covers on youtube alone.

They all made this band possible. Don’t ever say one member is more important than the other.

Is it believable for a pair of opposite-sex friends to sleep in the same bed and never have sex cross their minds? My characters are childhood friends who don't think of each other romantically, but they've ended up in a motel room with one bed and neither wants to make the other sleep in the tub. I've heard men and women can't be just friends, so how plausible is it really for them to sleep together platonically like that, or for that matter think of each other that way?

Incredibly, characters of any gender are capable of being platonic friends with one another, regardless of sexual orientation.

It’s perfectly plausible for them to be able to sleep in the same bed without sex ever crossing their minds.

Do you have any tips on loosening matts in a cats fur? One of my cats gets terrible matts when she sheds her winter coat and we have to cut them out, but they're stuck tight to her chest and sides right now and I don't know how to loosen them. She feels much better without the matts and I don't want her to have to deal with them for longer while they release naturally. I can't afford a groomer or I'd just take her to one of them

Honestly, I am not willing to give you any other advice than: you need to find a way to afford a groomer, or do a payment plan with one.

Matts are painful and super close to the skin and if you try to get them out yourself you can and will rip your cat’s skin and hurt them a huge amount. It is pretty inhumane, honestly, to try to do it yourself - it requires specialized tools and having been trained.

Find the money, then start a regular brushing regimen so they don’t come back.
