We’re Instituting A New Rule

From now on, if you’re dismissive of someone’s work, you don’t get it anymore.

Rude about the janitor? No more clean floors for you.

Unpleasant of the waitstaff? You can get your own food now.

Dismissive of knitting as a skill? I’m donating your scarf to the homeless (along with the rest of your knitted clothes).

Think artists don’t need to get paid? Enjoy your blank walls and unmarked packages.

Think cooking and cleaning is degrading woman’s work? Well that’s unfortunate because you’ll be doing your own until you apologize.

Any questions?

Me: Laughs at current omake

Also Me: But is Reigen okay? Is he doing alright? His business was doing well before all that shit went down in the separation arc, but like that was a pretty big scandal. there are probably still a lot of people who think he’s a fraud. and we haven’t been focusing as much on Spirits and Such lately. Is he getting enough clients? Is he making enough to support himself? It’s hard to manage a business on your own. Can he afford all this food? Some meats can get pretty pricey. Is he…

I’ll post the link tomorrow, but hit me up if you need a personal reminder and I’ll directly message you. :)

how cute would it be if in the next animal crossing you could have your own garden? like you can plant carrots, tomatoes, strawberries etc. when they’re fully grown you can sell them to retail for bells or give them to your villagers OR they could make it where you can cook food in your own home and you can use them as ingredients. it would also be very cute if you could have a telephone in your home where you can call villagers and ask them if they want to come over and hang out.

Imagine being from Alexandria and meeting Dwight only to later falling for one another (smut)

After a long day of scavenging for food cans and other missing necessities on your own, you walked your way back home through the woods.

However, feeling in the mood to take a walk, you decided to stray from the usual path and took a longer route.

It was warm and sunny enough for you to feel comfortable staying out for so long and even the few walkers didn’t stop you from enjoy the day.

As you walked, you decided to check your bag and count down the items you found, one more time. For some time you had noticed someone following and couldn’t help but be uncomfortable.

While you did, you suddenly heard some leaves rustle and made a quick move to turn to see what it was.

You saw a figure hide behind some of the trees and realized it was someone.

You pulled out your gun and in a stern voice said “Who are you?! Drop your weapon and show yourself slowly now…with your hands in the air…or i’ll shoot you…”

You saw some blonde hair stick out and slowly the man rising to stand up. He did just as you ask him and got out from behind the few trees.

He kept his gaze on you and seemed to inspect you from head to toe, not wanting to look away.

Still pointing your gun at him you asked, “Why were you following me?”

His eyes shot up to yours and a smirk curled to his lips.

“I just wanted give you back the few cans you had dropped…”

He looked behind towards the trees and slowly pointed over to the cans.

You walked over to them while keeping your eyes on him. You quickly grabbed and shoved them in your bag and said “Thank you…”

He nodded and continued “Also…I just felt like it…”

His voice suddenly made you nervous while his comment somehow made your heart skip a beat and you tightened your grip around your gun.

“Felt like it? Why? What do you want?!”

He chuckled hearing your voice suddenly getting weaker and shrugged his shoulders.

“I wanted to see more of you and what you were about…and now I know…you’re a pretty confident one…and little clumsy too but I like that…What’s your name?”

You didn’t know what took you but as you opened your mouth, you told him exactly what he wanted.

It made him smile even more and as he nodded, he presented himself to you.

“Y/N…That’s a nice name…I’m Dwight…or you can call me D…Whichever you like…”

He looked at you so much, you didn’t know what to say and felt yourself getting smaller. You nodded at him and embarrassed, you backed away, only to quickly run back home.

It surprised him and suddenly he raised his voice.

“Y/N! Why are you running away?! Don’t you want to get to know me?! I wanted to know more about you! See you next time then! Same place!”

As you got back home, you spent the evening and night thinking about him and couldn’t help but wonder more.

Not able to keep your mind off him, every moment since you’ve met, you decided to go back to where you first saw him.

To your surprise, he was there just as he had said and was always welcoming you with a smile.

Slowly, you started to have feelings for him and found yourself coming with any excuse to go out and meet him.

And so did he. He managed to get away from his camp on his own and made time to see you almost everyday.

He told you everything about him and you ended up doing the same. He revealed to you how he got his scar and how he lived his life up until now.

One day, as you both sat next to one another on the grass, laughing and remembering the first time you met, he suddenly turned to look over at you and whispered “Y/N…I like you a lot, you know…“

You got flustered and shyly smiled at him.

"Really? That’s good to know…because i’m starting to like you too…”

He smiled and staring at your features and slowly his eyes landed on your lips for a while.

He inched closer to you and you knew what was going to happen. You followed his lead and moved closer to him.

Your lips both touched and instantly he kissed you with a passion and grabbed you tightly to him.

You held onto his shoulders and didn’t hesitate to kiss him back. He slowly pushed you to lay on the ground, making sure not to hurt you.

As you laid down, he stayed on top of you and parted your legs to set himself comfortably.

He kissed you and slowly started to trail away from your lips to mark you on your neck.

He groped and fondled your body as much as he could and you couldn’t help but let out sighs and quiet moans to feel his hands, his lips and his tongue all over.

You enjoyed every instant of it and reached your hand down to undo his belt.

He chuckled feeling your hands slide down but suddenly came to a stop.

He heard familiar voices coming from behind and knew instantly who it was.

He looked to check behind and back at you and in an worried tone, said, “Y/N…I really want to do this with you…but my people are coming over to get me…and if they see us…they’ll…”

You kissed him, cutting his train of thought and went to hold his hand. You then immediately you got up, saying “I get it…then how about my place…”

He was speechless and ended up going along with you.

You both ran and hid in the woods, getting away from his people as much before actually getting to Alexandria.

Not wanting to cause a scene, you decided to climb on the walls to get in and you helped him over.

You made a quick move to your house and discretely managed to get in your room.

As you closed the door, you were both out of breath and you couldn’t help but chuckle at the situation.

The adrenaline had rushed into the both of you in that moment and you couldn’t wait to go on.

He looked back at you, smirking and got closer to you to grab your waist. He pulled you over and managed to get you on the bed.

He kissed you over and over again and straddled you to start removing his clothes. As you noticed him, you offered him help and removed his belt.

It made him chuckle and said, “I guess you’re the more desperate one here…”

You looked up at him in disbelief and decided to back away from him, to let him remove his clothes on his own.

In an alluring yet mocking tone, you whispered “Me, desperate? Please…If anything Dwight, this all started because of you…”

You ended up bumping into your pillows and started to remove your clothing, and waited to see what he’d do next.

He scoffed and got up to make a quick move of his pants before getting back on the bed.

He crawled over to you, in between your legs and gave you a quick taste of his tongue before backing away.

He chuckled seeing your surprised reaction and went to grab a hold of both of your thighs to part them even more.

“Wh-what are you doing?” You asked him, in a quiet tone.

Biting his lip, he smirked and whispered “Showing you how desperate I am for you…”

He pulled you a little closer towards his arousal and slowly grinded against you. He kept his gaze on you and felt amused seeing you trying to get your panties off.

You let out a whimper as he teased you and suddenly felt one of his hand over yours. He managed to remove your panties quickly and went back to grabbing you by your thighs and grinding against your entrance teasingly.

He loved feeling your wetness and looking at you desperately clinging onto the sheets to control yourself.

“Dwight…please…just…just fuck me…”

He let out a throaty chuckle and said “Oh, so you admit you want me just as badly…”

Seeing him smile, you collected yourself and decided to make him understand your intentions. You grabbed his cock to slowly tease and rub him.

He gasp and as you went on, he was surprised by how you touched him perfectly the way he liked and nearly forgot about what else to do.

He closed his eyes to feel your hand rubbing him and himself grinding against your entrance more.

After a few instants, you just had to whisper to him in your alluring voice and said, “Yeah…I want you badly, Dwight…I want you now…please…”

He opened his eyes to look into yours and nodded, smirking to you.

Suddenly, you felt him remove your hand from his cock and thrust into you.

You yelped loudly in surprise but your cry was met by his two fingers. He shoved them into your mouth and whispered
"Y/N…You don’t want your friends to hear us, right? So let’s make sure to keep you quiet…“

He groaned feeling himself inside of you but still taunted you by hiking up your thighs over his shoulders and moving increasingly more wildly.

You felt him even deeper inside and couldn’t help but stifle your moans by sucking even harder onto his fingers.

He chuckled seeing you struggle and got closer to your ear and managed to whisper his dirty thoughts about you.

"You like me fucking you like this don’t you, Y/N…Yeah you do…You’re such slut for me, aren’t you…Fuck, you’re so tight…”

You didn’t deny any of his words and just let him ramble on about how good you felt.

After a few more rough thrust he felt your walls slowly tightening around him and as he pulled his fingers out, his words changed.

“Y/N…I love you…I love you alright…”

You nodded and wrapped your arms around his shoulders to hold him and reassure him that you felt the same.

“I-I love you too…”

As he listened to you, he managed to make you release your orgasm and found himself enjoying looking at you in such ecstasy.

As you did, he thrusted into you even more to get himself on the edge before actually pulling out and releasing on your stomach.

He was out of breath and was about to fall near you but reached over for the nearest piece of clothing to help you wipe off his cum.

He threw the cloth across the room and went to lay next to you, pulling over the blanket. He pulled you closely to cuddle and made you rest your head against his chest.

You held onto him and planting kisses here and there on his chest, you whispered “I really love you, Dwight…”

He chuckled and started to stroke your hair and said “And I love you…I’m glad we did this at your place…Hey, you wouldn’t mind me…Staying here with you from now on, right?

You looked up at him and smiled at him.

"No, I wouldn’t mind at all…It’d be ideal!”

He smiled back at you but as you fell asleep, his worries washed over and wondered if what he was doing and planned on doing with you was right.

I started going to the gym for a while now and it’s the best decision I ever made. Before I did work out at home but somehow I always lost motivation to keep going. When I looked online everyone always said you have to do cardio, eat healthy food only and basically change your whole lifestyle, I tried and I HATED it. I’m so happy that I just did it my own way. You can still eat your favorite food, still eat pizza and combine it with healthy food. It’s different when you want to lose weight but my goal is a bigger butt and a nice stomach. I’m basically doing little to no cardio, that’s not what you need when you want a bigger butt. The key is: LIFT HEAVY & take more calories than you’re burning. I’m already seeing such nice results while I can still enjoy my life and the food I like, it made me love going to the gym and I’m already looking forward to go tomorrow. So girls, forget the butt pads and injections, go and work for that body, it’s worth it.

Think of it like this

A fandom is like a restaurant.

The members are like customers.

The workers are the creators.

The food there are the characters.

Condiments are the headcanons.

It’s okay to like certain foods.

But you shouldn’t judge people for doing so because you like other food served in that restaurant.

It’s okay if customers accidentally bump into the workers and create a scene, that just happens.

But you should apologize as a decent person because other customers are watching the mess you made and it might give the restaurant a bad name.

It’s okay to have your own opinion on the food, you can always eat somewhere else if you do not like it.

But you shouldn’t harass the workers there because they are just doing their job.

It’s okay to eat your food with conidments if that’s what you prefer.

It’s okay to recommend the way you like it to someone.

But you shouldn’t force it down someone’s throat if they already told you they don’t like it.

It’s okay to feel a certain way about your favorite restaurant.

But every restaurant has something wrong with it and not everybody is going to like it, just accept it and enjoy the food being provided in the building you feel happy in.

Going off the grid: Why more people are choosing to live life unplugged

For people who want to get away from today’s consumerist society, living off-grid can be an attractive option.

Imagine living off the land, producing your own food and energy and getting away from the consumption economy that drives so many of our decisions. For more and more people, off-grid living has become the way to go. Although statistics on Americans who choose to take this route are hard to come by, trends suggest that the number is increasing. Some people do it to be self-reliant or more in touch with nature. Many go off-grid to step away from society. Still others do it because it is the most financially viable option available to them.

“Going off the grid is not a game,” says Nick Rosen, founder of the Off-Grid website and author of “Off the Grid: Inside the Movement for More Space, Less Government, and True Independence in Modern America” (Penguin Books). “It is real life and a real choice for real people.”

Rosen says people go off the grid for a variety of reasons, and they vary how deeply they go off-grid. “You can’t get off all of the grids all the time,” he says. “It’s a question of which grids you choose to get off of and in what way and for how long.” Some people live off the grid part of the year for leisure purposes, taking a few months off from their jobs so they can live in a more relaxed manner. Others get themselves off the public electrical or water systems but still participate in what Rosen calls the “car grid” or the “supermarket grid” or “bank grid.”

Off-grid is green
Book cover for Off the Grid by Nick RosenAlthough a desire to go green isn’t usually the primary driver for people going off-grid, the lifestyle has many environmental benefits. For one thing, most off-grid homes or communities are in places where nature plays an important part of their everyday lives. “You become much more aware of the sun and the wind because you need it to power yourself,” Rosen says. For another, people who are living off-grid do not tend to fill their lives with the same amount of stuff as your average consumer. “We’re all consuming too much. One of the big motivations for off-grid living is a weariness of the consumer society. It’s not necessarily anti-consumer, but post-consumer.”

Off-grid homes also eschew the American tendency toward overly large residences. “We’re over-housing ourselves,” Rosen says. “That’s been very big feature of American society since the ‘50s: The overly large house with the big heating and cooling bills, storing vast amounts of unnecessary possessions.” Although off-grid housing varies in size and scope and energy needs, Rosen estimates that the average off-grid residence uses about 20 percent of the energy consumed by a typical American home.

Another green factor is a lowered reliance on transportation. Although people living off the grid still own vehicles, they use them much less frequently. “You may only need it once a week or once a month,” Rosen says.

Other motivations: Fear and finances
Some off-grid people do it to get away. “Perhaps the biggest motivation at the moment is a loss of trust in the government and the ability of social networks to look after us,” Rosen says. These are people who feel as if society no longer provides the sense of safety that they require.

For others, going off-grid is an economic necessity brought about by hard times. “A lot of the people I met when I was traveling around the States writing my book were people who had to hand back the keys to their properties and find a new lifestyle. In one case they bought some land on eBay and moved themselves into a trailer. And they find themselves living a more ecological lifestyle just by the fact that they’re generating their own electricity and growing their own food, but they were motivated by financial matters rather than by more pure desire to tread more lightly on the planet.”

How much do you really need?
Rosen says most families could go off the grid with as little as a half an acre, “as long as it’s the right half-acre.” Ideal locations would have some woodland, an area for agriculture, enough light for solar power and a good source of water, either a well or a stream. “The era of 40 acres and a mule has been replaced by the era of a half an acre and a laptop and a solar panel,” he says.

But even a half an acre can be a lot of work — too much for most people, Rosen says. “You’re giving yourself a lot to do if you’re running your own power plant, dealing with your own water supply, disposing of your own waste and pulling your own food.”

Instead of going it alone, many people form off-grid communities. “The best way to get off-grid is to go off with others in a group of families, so each have half an acre and share resources and skills,” Rosen says. “One is tending livestock and one is growing vegetables, while a third is looking after the power supply for everybody else.”

The next generation?
Going off the grid today doesn’t mean reinventing the wheel. “The existence of the Internet that has made living off the grid a real choice and a real possibility for so many people,” Rosen says. Websites like his own provide lessons and plans and advice for off-grid living, as well as a sense of community for people who might otherwise be physically isolated from each other.

In addition, some off-the-grid communities are ready for new people to join them. “There’s a huge generation of 1970s back-to-the-land movement people who are now getting pretty old and they’re sitting on these huge tracks of land that can’t be broken up,” Rosen says. These communities are looking for young people to buy their way in. “The idea of land trusts is being used as a way these older people can get some new residents to help look after them and then work on the land or take over part of the land as the older generation dies out.”

Rosen says his own ambition is to create an off-grid village of 300 or so homes in his native England, provided he can find a local zoning board willing to allow it. “I think there’s a huge demand for off-grid living that can’t be satisfied because the places where you’d want to live off the grid are the places you can’t get permission to do so,” he says.

Here’s how you can make your own Pizza Gyoza!

I’m definitely gonna try to make these one of these days because it’ll be delicious undoubtedly.

I’ll probably make them for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party or something. Or just because I can.

Enjoy the vid and the food~

1. Cook with soul - but first, get to know your soul

2. Be proud of your roots, be proud of your home, be proud of your family and its culture. That’s your inspiration.

3. Cook as if every day you were cooking for your grandmother. If your grandmother is still alive, cook with her as much as possible, and write everything down.

4. Respect ingredients and the people who produce them.

5. Visit the farmers’ market at least once a week, and use most of your food budget at the market.

6. Buy the best food you can afford.

7. Grow your own - even if it’s just a rosemary bush. You’ll taste the difference and start planting more right away.

8. Do as little as possible to an ingredient when it’s perfect and at its peak.

9. You can never be too organized; a clean work space allows for a clean mind that can produce a clean plate of flavors.

10. Cook in the moment. Cook the way you are feeling, cook to suit the weather, cook with your mood, or to change your mood.

11. Let vegetables tell you what to do. Taste them raw before you start thinking about how to cook them. Are they sweet? Tender? Crunchy? Starchy?

12. Cook a vegetarian feast occasionally. Vegetables coked with care can be just as rewarding as a piece of braised meat.

13. If you are dead set on making a specific recipe but when you go to the market the ingredients don’t speak to you or feel and smell perfect, don’t make the recipe. Cook from the hip - you may surprise yourself. Perfect ingredients don’t require much; shop for flavor, not concept.

14. Over-season something with salt and acid just so you know what is too much. Then ride the line, and you’ll find your balance.

15. Listen to your tongue; it’s smart.

16. Cook using your instincts. Cooking times are just guidelines.

17. Try to make every dish better every time you make it. Keep a notebook to document successes and failures. And record your creative inspirations in it as well.

18. Eat with your hands as much as possible.

19. Be curious! Ask yourself questions: Why did the fish stick to the pan? Why did my sauce break?

20. Never stop researching and seeking knowledge in the kitchen.

21. Cooking should make you happy. If it starts making you angry, stop cooking and go eat at a nice restaurant. Come back the next night and think about what went wrong and give it another shot.

22. He who dies with the biggest pantry wins.

—  Sean Brock, “My Manifesto,” Heritage

So I came up with this recipe tonight for dinner!

It’s an “Asian” inspired dish… With glazed baked chicken thighs and a rice pilaf.

(I used the ingredients to taste, but this is a rough measurement)

2 cloves of chopped garlic, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, two tablespoons of chopped green onion (plus a little extra to top chicken with when serving), 1 teaspoon of red pepper flake, 2 tablespoons of honey, ¼ cup of soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, a pinch of garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Whisk ingredients together. Make sure you taste it! My glaze was equal parts sweet and salty with a little kick from the red pepper. I reserved some glaze and heated it in a small pan to drizzle on top of chicken once it was done. (I added a pat of butter to the glaze when heating it to make it a little creamier)

Preheat oven to 375

Rinse and pat dry chicken thighs.

Lift skin and spread glaze underneath with a spoon. (Best to do this when your chicken is in a baking pan) Also add a little bit of the glaze to the bottom of your pan. With the back of a spoon, spread some of the glaze on top of the chicken skin as well, but don’t add too much otherwise the chicken skin will get soggy. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.

One medium onion, two cloves garlic, one cup of rice, 2 ¼ cups of chicken stock, ½ cup of frozen peas, pinch of garlic powder, 1-2 teaspoons of dried parsley, 1-2 tablespoons of butter, and salt and pepper to taste.

Chop onion and garlic. In a small separate pan heat 2 ¼ cups of chicken stock. In a deep pan, saute onions in oil until translucent. Add chopped garlic. Once garlic is cooked add 1 cup of rice. Mix together and season generously with salt and pepper. Once rice has turned translucent add ½ cup of frozen peas and continue to cook. Add 1-2 tablespoons of butter and continue to saute. Once the rice looks a milky white color, add the boiling chicken stock to the pan and stir to combine everything. Add garlic powder and parsley. Before placing your lid on the pan, taste the liquid in the pan to make sure it is seasoned well. Bring everything to a boil and let boil for 1-2 minutes. Place lid on pan and turn heat down to low. Let it simmer for 25-30 minutes. Once done, lift lid and fluff rice with a fork. (Don’t lift the lid while rice is cooking until after 25 minutes has passed.)

Pile rice on top of plate/bowl. Place chicken on top of rice and drizzle with glaze. Add a few pieces of chopped green onion on top of chicken and eat your heart out!

This was super yummy and really easy to make!

I hope you guys try it out!

And here comes the Catch 22: If you care a lot about which specific motivators your dog enjoys, it is very likely that you will add pressure to the game – not on purpose, but as a function of your underlying interest. It’s the classic ‘oh please take this tug that I am stuffing into your face’ problem. Rather than being fun, you begin to represent pressure to your dog, which will only make him avoid both you and the stimulus you are trying to force him to enjoy. You wanting it to be a motivator does not make it a motivator; motivation is internal to the individual. What you CAN do is learn excellent techniques of offering various motivators in ways that are likely to bring out your dog’s natural interest in these things.

The more you can squash your own desire to have your dog love food, toys, or personal play, the more likely it is that you will succeed in this regard.
