I wanted to give my intake at the whole “Lance with Keith jacket” so I did a little doodle of Lance, then I though about the possibility that the show follow, even if for a brief time, the old Voltron(so Keith became the black paladin, Lance the red ones and Allura the blue) and things … got sidetracked.
And with that I mean “I’m inking, but there are four - or they were five? - minicomic and It’s a bit boring, but I’m drawing Pissed Keith, So Done Shiro, and Matt Meeting Lance, so whatever. I’m going to finish them, I hope”.
It’s no small feat. It took a leader hiding pain and exhaustion under a careless laugh, an artist brimming with inspiration despite his tears, a friend with a big heart and warm hands to take away the difficult times; a dreamer with ambition and hope to inspire confidence, and an intelligent soul with the wisdom to make the tough decisions in a midst of awe and confusion, to paint this canvas. Here is to five incredible men who work so hard to fill the voids in our hearts with holes in their own. Here is to five brave men who stand to fight the odds again. Here is to Highlight.
Why are there still so many people who believe that cheetahs are the fastest animals alive when it's clearly peregrine falcons?
Listen, it’s all in how you’re going to split hairs or various other integuments on this one. Without any qualifiers, peregrine falcons are the fastest animal. However, they hit their record speeds of 320km/hr+ in free-fall - so, once you start getting into “fastest animal moving under it’s own power”, things get messy. When it comes to powered flight, peregrines only hit about 65-90km/hr.
So let’s get into some qualifiers. Fastest self-powered movement? Nope; Brazilian free-tailed bats noodle around at a casual 160km/hr - and, as you may notice, this also means cheetahs aren’t even the fastest mammal. It’s only once we rule out everything that isn’t a terrestrial mammal that cheetahs finally take the crown. You tried, cheetahs.
