I hope you don't mind me asking... But have you really abandoned your TF2 fanfiction series, Trust Me? I admit that reading it was one of the best TF2 fanfics I have ever graced my eyes upon ^^. But if it interferes with what you are doing in life now, I understand. But I hope I can get some closure about this... Thank you

I am only going to go over this ONCE as of I am loathe to remember this time period.

Yes, I have abandoned not only my TF2 series, but also the TF2 fandom. I still enjoy the comics and suffer with you in waiting for more, but I do not participate anymore. I still keep a close eye on one fic by @iloveteamfortresstoo because she is one of the most talented writers I ever came across in the fandom and even with my grief towards the fandom as a whole, I still enjoy every update that comes out. That is the extent of my current fandom experience.

I was chased out by a number of people because they wanted more updates from my series quicker. However, I had just begun college (and my college is notorious for people dropping out in freshman year) at that time, and life is more important than fandom. To the people who constantly messaged me (not asking, but DEMANDING very rudely that I post), I didn’t have a life and made those fics for their pleasure because I had nothing better to do (I quote them in this) and I was also attacked for including the holocaust in my fanfiction (which I feel is stupid to attack me for because I was in no way mocking it and gave it the seriousness it deserved, and the best way to make sure something never happens again is to learn about it, and I made sure what I was writing was accurate to the time) it made me realize that the more I looked at my content, the more I had no desire to return to it. It also made me realize that I was probably dealing with a bunch of immature preteens, and I had no desire to cater to them. The series caused me more grief than pleasure, and for me, fic writing is all about enjoying yourself. If it’s no longer doing that, then there is no reason why I should continue.

I joined the Star Wars fandom because I was welcomed there and because there are more adults that dislike discourse just as much as I do, than those who create it. I don’t feel pressured or badgered when people read my fics. No one ever asks me when an update shall happen because we all understand that real life beyond the internet takes priority, and interests change. All the attention I get about updates is “can’t wait for another one!” even if i haven’t updated in 2-6 months, and that’s how it should be. It’s the polite thing.

Going off and attacking a creator for more content is the most immature, selfish, and rude thing you can do to them (other than telling them what they can and cannot create), and will almost ALWAYS have the opposite effect. It destroys the creator’s will to do anything. And logically it makes sense: when you are rude to someone, what would ever make them cater to your wants? It applies to creators just as it does to social common decency.

I hope that is closure enough, and this needed to be said. All I can say is that I stopped for my mental wellbeing and I won’t apologize for that. Every person has a right to a good and healthy online experience, and they have full rights to do what they need to do to achieve that.

Dropping the Trust Me series was what I needed to do to achieve that. If you are upset that they will never be finished, heres my advice: come up with your own idea: make any ending you want for it.

Edible Spellcraft - Prosperity Tonic

The Universe offers us abundance and we can draw on its energies to prosper. This prosperity goes beyond a materialistic accumulation of wealth; it is the amplification of our energies and brings with it health, happiness, and healing. To be prosperous in a spiritual sense is to have the energies to perform at your best, whether you are casting, creating, meditating or working. Here is a simple elixir to boost your energy and promote prosperity.

You Will Need
1. 3 blackberries
2. 1 ounce lemon juice
3. Tonic water (sub: club soda or sparkling water)
4. Blackberry leaf (optional)
5. A glass (that can hold 6 to 8 ounces)

Preparation
If it is part of your practice, cast a circle. As you sit with your ingredients before you, centre yourself. Ground yourself in the present moment by focusing on your breath, the sensations of your body, and your connection to the earth.

Casting
Place the blackberries and lemon juice in the bottom of the glass and muddle them with a fork. Then pour in the tonic water (approximately 6 ounces). Stir in a gentle deocil (sunwise, clockwise) motion three times. Garnish with the blackberry leaf (optional).

Hold the glass before you and repeat the following with intention:

The Light before me
Brighid beside me
The dark behind
Bring prosperity

Drink the tonic at your own pace.

Notes
Blackberry: the berry is ruled by the planet Venus and the element of earth. The leaf is ruled by the planet Venus and the element of water. Blackberry is sacred to Brighid and draws prosperity
Lemon: ruled by the moon and the element of water, it promotes cleansing and protection

Watermelon Cappella-ing

There are nine watermelons riding on a white bike
Driven stakes through the middles and stacked upright
And printed paper faces with fantastical expressions
Animating firstly from the top, nonsensical aggression

Followed after is ecstatic (so dramatic), then it’s fearful
(What an earful), and the fourth watermelon’s always cheerful
The fifth fruit is full of frisky fishes swimming pretty
And the next in suit is busy capturing the quite city

The watermelon after that is hopelessly confused
Looking downward at the giddy one who’s blissfully amused
And the fruit at the bottom- the ninth one in line
They all wait on to initiate a bike riding rhyme

9- “Oh, as we ride in the night on our bright white bike”
8- “And we lightly -ha ha- glimpse the sight”
7- “Without note of how we got here, I thought we were at home”
6- “Tonight’s for taking pictures while we roam”

5- “Swish swish bubble drip glub blub glug”
4- “We sing through the fluttering ladybugs”
3- “But what if they eat us? We’re only fruit!
Can we just go around and NOT go through”
2- “We’ve been out for ages and I’m so -brr- cold”
1- “Quit your whining, it’s gotten old!”

There were nine watermelons riding on a white bike
But they rode back home after having a fight
To a magical garden at the mystical mill
Just beyond the city in a hideaway hill

Could Just Be The Bassline

ETOnline: 6 Magical Thoughts We Had While Watching the Spring Premiere

1. Forbidden New Flashbacks: Right away fans will be transported back to the “forbidden fortress” to learn exactly how our beloved Queens of Darkness came together. (And if you’re thinking Rumple might have hand a hand in this sinister sisterhood, then your assumptions are completely correct.) Plus, get ready to see just how persuasive Cruella De Vil can really be.

2. So Many CaptainSwan Kisses: Get ready Emma and Hook lovers because you will be beyond pleased with the amount of PDA packed into Sunday’s premiere! Their looks of adoration will give you butterflies, and the opening credits are still rolling when you’re treated to your first CaptainSwan kiss with coffee. It’s clear that the past six weeks have been filled with many romantic moments.

3. Even Heroes Have Wicked Secrets: Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves because the Charmings are holding onto one of the darkest secrets we have ever seen on this series. Of course, we cannot spill exactly what our Charming couple is hiding, but take comfort in the fact that their dark secret means you’ll be getting the more Snowing screen-time in these first two episode than we have in all of season four.

i like how those posts never mention 3 millions of soviet POW's and 2 millions of poles, which are second and third in death toll but ok

im pretty sure polish people are counted in either that 14 million civilians OR in those groups of ppl persecuted? like the polish jewish community. i mean the numbers i know for poland is that the total is easily 5-6 million, not 2 million.

i can see that post had a shortcoming in not mentioning the Soviet POWs given the genocidal Nazi policy towards them and Generalplan Ost- but it also doesn’t mention any other POWs - it’s clearly a civilian centric post. like…idk man, can people not act like this when it comes to a clearly well-intentioned post for a historical event that still needs to be properly remembered? like in europe we still have holocaust deniers. maybe that post is not perfect but the post alr tried to include other groups affected by the fighting, beyond those affected by the holocaust itself.

what does your dream home look like? Where is it?

I have many dream homes envisioned in my head, but the most realistic one/ the one I’m aiming for is a quaint, adorable little log house with a wrap around porch. The logs all look v natural and a bit old, and the house has an overall witchy vibe. There are plants all around it and vines and wisteria coiled around the porch. The door is medieval looking and has a cool af knocker (probs a dragon one). Inside there is a sunken living room straight ahead, with lots of places to sit and a beautiful stone fireplace, which heats the whole house. When you walk in the front door, to your left is the kitchen. It’s a very open floorplan so you can see the living room from the kitchen. The kitchen has beautiful gemstone countertops, probably labradorite but I’m not too picky, and dark wooden cabinets. Walk through the kitchen and there’s a cute little dining room on the other side. That side of the house is pretty much all windows, like a sun room. The dining room is small, because we wouldn’t need a large table. There are always fresh flowers from our garden in a vase in the middle. You can sit at the dining room and watch the horses run around in the pasture while you eat your breakfast. Along the wall of windows is like a really long bench, almost like a long bay window where you can sit and read a book or sip on your tea while you look off into the pastures and forests outside. It’ll be a little to confusing to explain where the bedrooms are but there are three of them (although there might have to be more depending on the amount of children we have, but we can always build on so). There’s the master bedroom which isn’t huge, but big enough to fit a king size bed and some bedroom furniture. I think the style of this room would have quite a medieval feel. A big canopy bed, and old wooden furniture I think. The walls would probably be a deep red unless they’re wooden. Still not sure. There’s a bathroom attached to the master, with a huge, really nice tub with a large window beside it (which is like clouded so no one can see you) but it lets so much light in and it makes sitting in the tub very relaxing.  One of the other rooms would be a sort of computer room/office type thing, which might later be converted into a bedroom for an adopted child. The other bedroom would be a bedroom either for the daughter we already have, or for guests to stay until we did have a daughter. And that room would probably be designed very nature-inspired. Around the house there would be medieval items like swords and shields and old chandeliers and stuff like that. There would also be crystals EVERYWHERE, certain ones to bring certain energies into each room. Also lots of plants!!!

There would be some sort of shed or tree house or something outside, most likely a greenhouse converted into a work space for me to make jewelry or whatever else that’s artsy that I’ll be making. That way I’m surrounded by the flowers and plants of the garden, I get to be outside, and I get all the natural light from the windows but I can go out there in the rain and everything will stay dry and not get ruined.

I’m gonna include the yard bc I’m having fun. Basically we live in the forest with mountains surrounding us. Not huge rocky ones (those are slightly further out), but the shorter ones that take about 1.5-2 hours to hike to the top. Our property is mostly cleared out, though. We have a few acres where the barn (4-6 stall?), paddocks, and pastures for the horses are. Beyond that we have a small hay field, just enough to supply for our own horses. There’s a path in the middle of the hay field that leads to a meadow of tall green grass and tons of wildflowers. The path continues to a pond at the end of the meadow, just before the forest starts. This pond is home to lots of wildlife and we leave that area as natural as possible. Back near the house we have a huge garden (picture The Secret Garden, but without the walls), with lots of wildflowers and other flowers and plants, growing to look like a magical faerieland instead of a regular garden. There are tiny stone paths and benches and tree stumps to sit on and in the prettiest spot there is a small fancy glass table with two matching chairs so sit in with my love and drink tea and have lunch or whatever. There’s also a veggie garden with enough veggies to sustain us so we don’t have to buy them, and we also sell whatever we don’t eat at local markets or just from our house. Or we give them to neighbours bc we’re just that nice aha. There are trails all throughout the forest, to explore for hours on horseback or walking. They’re such beautiful, dense forests, with something very magical about them. Rivers, creeks, and waterfalls run throughout it all, and we often swim in them on hot summer days or peaceful rainy days. Sometimes we take our horses in there too!

I think that’s about it, I’m gonna draw it out quickly so you can visualize it better.

There’s a general idea of what I picture.
