I just started a commit to get fit challenge at work. Last week was the first week and at weigh-in I only lost 1.6 lbs. I know 1-2 lbs/week is what you should aim for, but I really thought I would lose more at first. I logged all my calories as accurately as possible, followed my plan to the letter, and worked out as planned. I'm feeling discouraged and was hoping you'd have some word of encouragement or wisdom.

CONGRATULATIONS first of all because that sounds like you weren’t retaining water and you went straight to the fat loss bit HUZZAH!!

And lets talk numbers… 1.6lbs is brilliant. Its this:

Off your ass

Off your belly

Out of your arteries

Little by little getting that off your body is AMAZING

It represents 5500 calories which is the equivalent of 10 Big Macs


So yes BE DAMN PROUD

I am soooo proud of you. And you know what - youre gonna do it all over a gain next week… smash it girl!!!

And we dream of lives worth living,

Ignoring the life that dies waiting for us to live it.
