John Laurens + reader teasing him while they’re at a bar?

Friday night meant going out with your friends for drinks, especially after you had met Alexander. You and Alex had met in college and after that you two hit it off instantly, doing everything together. You would be lying if you said you two hadn’t hooked up once or twice but you both mutually agreed that you two were better off as friends, you even helped snag Eliza for him. Being friends with Alex meant being friends with his friends, and thankfully they all liked you. All but one. John Laurens. For some reason, you two had created a friendship of your own filled with nothing but dry, sarcastic humor that nobody seemed to understand. You greeted him with insults and he would happily take them and throw one back at you.

You stepped into the taxi and gave the driver the name of the bar as you smoothed out your barely there dress. The forest green silky fabric felt like air to your skin, and you had to make sure you had actually worn clothes out. If the short length wasn’t enough, the dress also was backless as the fabric in the back started below your ribcage. You didn’t know why you had chosen to wear that dress. On Friday nights you had usually opted for a pair of jeans and a nice top but today you felt like dressing up a bit more, and you were definitely feeling yourself. The taxi came to a screeching halt in front of the bar, and you thanked the driver as you handed him a ten dollar bill. You swung your legs out of the cab and gracefully stood up as the New York City breeze hit your body. You smoothed out your hair before walking into the bar.

Prompt Request!

Yoi-yoi-senpai was so cute, liking all my prompts, so I decided to do a request based on their requested pic!

Here I go! She asked for Angst, Fluff, kissing, and anything else I wanted! :D yay!!!~

After successfully taking down a runaway eggbot, Amy and Sonic return to the city, waiting for Tails, before Sonic gets word that Tails won’t be able to take Amy home.

Excited, she starts to plan a few dating ideas, which Sonic wishes to shy away from…

Sonic rolls his eyes as he covers the communicator which shows the map of the city, as Amy exaggerates her hands in one direction, spreading them wide, before rushing to his other side and listing several different things to do in that particular direction.

“Tails..” Sonic peeks down at the communicator, seeing his face.

Tails looks slightly apologetic, swishing his tails behind him. “Sorry, Sonic. I’ve got a lot of research going on here.” He explained, and looked back up to Sonic, “But it might be good for you two to hang out again. I mean, it has been while since you two really interacted and all.”

“Right?” Amy turned around, her eyes shining in Sonic’s face as he leaned away, a bit skittish.

“Heh, take it easy on him, Amy. And take care!” Tails waved off and signed off, leaving Sonic hopelessly stuck with taking Amy around.

She giggled, tilting her head and then rushing off ahead of him.

He sighed, dropping his arms down.

“Where should we go explore first? Ohh~ Maybe there? Or there? How about there~?” She looked to the side, up to the sun, and then all around, super excited to spend the rest of the day with Sonic.

“C-calm down, Amy…” Sonic bent his eyebrows back, speaking kindly to her. “I think it may be best to just-”

“Ohh! You’re right!” Amy swung around and spread her arms as if engulfing the whole city. “We’ll see it all!”

He dropped his head, seeing as she wasn’t even listening to him.

He shook his head up and shrugged, “Whatever you say, Amy.”

And just like that, the date began.

They did a whole number of things, though Sonic looked bored in every photograph, he lazily tagged along and Amy didn’t even notice, happy to just spend time with him.

Finally, Amy agreed that the stroll down the city’s lighted square and circled, outdoor performance center would be the last place they stayed.

Holding tightly to his arm, she saw him eyeing some street performers and bands, and watched them intently as they walked by.

“…Hmm?” She smiled, cutely. “Want to go dance with them?”

He looked down at her, shocked she had spotted his interest in the merry band.

“Heh, maybe to challenge that break dancer.” he smirked, teasing as he got excited about getting to go.

“Hehe, sure! Knock’em dead.” Amy let his arm go, and he nodded to her, before racing off as a crowd formed and watched him do a dance-battle to the music on the cardboard they laid out for the event.

Amy watched happily, before looking up and seeing a human couple move closer to each other as they watched, and then look to one another, and kiss.

Her smile slightly faded, but it was still present. She was happy for them, anyway.

She looked away and down, before up to see the band’s drummer was playing and getting snuggled by what she supposed was his girlfriend too.

She was actually amazed, hanging her jaw out and leaning forward, seeing that the drummer could still play while his girl hugged him from behind.

She then started noticing that where ever her eyes darted too, more and more couples were around, and each doing something incredible adorable.

For some reason, she felt self-conscious, and rubbed her arm a bit.

When Sonic came back, he waved to the crowd, and offered Amy his arm again.

“Woah! Talk about getting a crowd riled up. They really are something though. Those performers.” Sonic didn’t notice for a second her demeanor, before he turned back and notice she hadn’t taken his arm.

He slowly lowered it, to get a better look at her face. “Amy? What’s wrong? Uhh..” he suddenly had a small bit of worry trace his face, “You didn’t think I’d forget all about you while dancing out there, did ya?”

“…N-no. It’s fine. I’m sorry about that. Hm-hmm! You did great out there, Sonic! Just like I knew you would.” She shook herself out of it, smiling up to him, but Sonic could immediately tell she was hiding something, blinking his eyes in slight suspicion of her new mood change before she took his arm and they continued.

He wasn’t going to force her to say anything though, and just put an arm up behind his head and looked at all the lights on the trees.

“….” Amy kept her head down, still seeming melancholy.

Sonic simply waited. He knew that if it was pressing on her this much, then she’d spill eventually.

Her comes the pour.

“Hmm?” He turned to look at her, genuinely hoping she’d talk about what was troubling her. Although, he made sure not to show it.

“What’s up, Amy?”

“….Have you noticed… all the couples around here?”

Sonic blinked, looking down at her face as if questioning there even were couples around here, and bent down to make sure she was telling the truth before glancing around.

He suddenly became aware of all the couples sitting down and laughing or smiling to one another, and blinked innocently at how many they’re were.

“Oh yeah. I hadn’t noticed. There sure are a lot of them, huh?”

“….Sonic.” Amy stopped her walking.

He fidgeted and regained himself to a halt as well, looking to her as if not sure what was going to happen next. Amy could be… unpredictable, sometimes.

Her eyes were covered in the shadows of the night, but the lights helped him see a little more of her, as he tried to position himself to where the light was.

“…You’re a man aren’t you?”

“I’m not suppose to pull all the moves here, Sonic.” She lifted her head up, revealing her eyes to be closed and her cheek puffed up, upset by his slow responses.

“M-moves..?” Sonic bent a little more, truly uncertain now of what was happening.

“Of course, Moves!” Amy leaned forward to him, hands on her hips, looking frustrated now. “As the man, you’re suppose to be trying to seduce me! Hmph.” she swung her head away, disappointed as Sonic’s eyes widened.

“W-what do you mean…”

“Oh, come off it, Sonic! I want you to kiss me!” Amy folded her arms, bending her head down. Her ear twitched a second as Sonic started to speak…

“W-well, I don’t know Amy… that’s kinda asking a tall order of me…” Sonic scratched behind his head, also lowering his own to avoid eye contact with her, as she continually got more and more upset.

“Ugh!” she stomped her foot down. “What’s so hard about it!? All you have to do is-! Grr… nevermind!” she turned around, facing her back to him. “Forget it, forget I said anything.”

Her shoulders suddenly gave and she slumped down a moment. “…Even if it was just a tease… I would have been okay with just a little kiss… one on the cheek even?”

Suddenly, a voice sprung out from the stone leveled seats that worked as bleachers to the side. “Kiss her, Sonic!”

Sonic sprung his head up, looking around.

The crowd had followed them!

People had stopped to listen in on the lover’s dispute, as skaters and lovers, passerbys, and all sorts of people started cheering and encouraging the action.

In embarrassment, both Amy and Sonic tensed up, deepening their teeth-revealing frowns and nervously looking around at all the people.

“Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!”

“N-n-now-now-now! Let’s not get carried away.” Amy sweat dropped, waving her hands at the crowd and trying to smile. “O-our love lives are not for public display!”

Sonic couldn’t even say anything back, just withdrawing away from the chanting, before looking down, thinking about it for a second.

Amy looked to see how embarrassed Sonic was, and felt horribly guilty.

She felt her heart crack a moment before rushing out, spreading her arms out in front of the crowd to protect Sonic. “That’s enough!”

The crowd quieted down, surprised by her sudden shout.

“Can’t you see he’s not gonna give in to that?” She looked truly loving towards the crowd, “He’s not that kind of guy. I may encourage it from him, but I would NEVER force him.”

The crowd looked to one another, feeling bad about their playful pressuring.

Amy blinked her eyes, losing her focus on the crowd before she was turned around.

The crowd, it looked like a kiss.

“Yay!!” they all cheered, and laughed. Clapping and celebrating for them, giving them congratulations before dispersing.

Sonic’s hand had been placed over Amy’s mouth, though the force of the pull and pressure on it the same as if it was a kiss.

Amy’s eyes widened and her pupils shrunk and grew.

When he pulled her away, he rubbed his glove to his cheek, looking away from her.

“They weren’t going to be satisfied if I didn’t.” He explained, then looked down. “Gotta give the people what they came for… in an entertainment place like this.”

Amy was frozen in her own mind, trying to process what had just happened, before realizing he had faked the kiss to get the crowd to leave and feel content instead of guilty.

Her eyes shook, as she held back some tears.

She closed her gaping mouth.

“It’s fine.”

He looked back to her, his glove still up, hiding whatever lay behind it on his muzzle…

“No, really, I understand completely!” She faked a smile, and nodded. “You were right! You’ve always been a fast thinker, Sonic! I didn’t even think of their feelings!” she was right about that, she had only thought about Sonic and how he may have been feeling…

“…Amy.” his expression changed, from worry at hurting her to now anger at her lying.

“R-really. You played that well. W-well, I guess you should be taking me home now so-” she turned, not daring to cry in front of Sonic and make him feel worst for what he did.

His hand shot out, “Amy!”

Pulling her back, he suddenly sped off down the circled outdoor center and burst through to the woods, somewhere completely isolated, as he missed seeing a tree root and they started tumbling down the forsaken path.

“Offph!” Amy landed pretty hard, before looking up and blushing. “W-wh… what are you..?”

Sonic slowly got up, but his eyes showed a powerful conviction, and it shut her up right then and there.

“I may not be very smart about how I show my feelings, Amy.” he spoke clear and concisely, and her eyes widened at what he was revealing.

“But that doesn’t mean.. I don’t care.” He narrowed his own, showing how much he really meant that.

“S…Sonic…” her eyes shook in sparkles in the moonlight, though they were away from the lights, a little still lingered in the darkness of the forest.

“…” he started to lower his head down to hers.

“Oph!” she let out a quick withdrawal of air before shutting her eyes close, and trembling slightly before-

-DI-DILL-DI-DI-DI-DILL! “Sonic? Come in, Sonic! Change of plans. My research got finished way before I thought it was! haha! I’m on my way to pick Amy up now!”

Sonic groaned a moment, getting up and letting Amy get some air.

He reached for his communicator, “..Right. I’ll give you our location-”

Amy sprang up, clicking the communicator with her finger, “Actually.” she tried to impersonate his voice, and when he was about to counter that action, she shoved her other hand up and over his muzzle, making him squirm in shock.

“Ehem.” she deepened her voice again, trying to mimic him again. “I’ll be taking Amy home. Over.”

“O-over? B-but I thought you said the journey would take too long for-?”

“I-I’ve changed my mind.” She glanced at Sonic’s face, who glared down at her.

“A-are you sure? This would mean you’d have to take breaks and rest with Amy right next to you…”

Amy’s eyes widened, as Sonic struggled to regain power over this situation, flailing around, trying to get Amy’s hand off his mouth, before shoving her down and back to where he was over her again.

“Sonic!? What’s happening? I hear leaves rustling!”

“We’re fine-!” Sonic’s free hand was now trying to silence her own mouth, but she kept turning her head away from it, straining. “Anyway, bye!”

Amy hung up and then gripped the communicator, playing tug-a-war a moment before flinging it out of Sonic’s hands, having it land a good whiles away, out of eye-sight.

Sonic blinked his eyes before glaring down back at her.

She cutely scrunched up her body, pulling her legs up from under him. “Heheh… opps?”

A/N: Aurora got her classical dance skills from Amy and her street style from Sonic. I picture Aurora going to Amy more when she’s sad because 1: She wants to be strong for her dad and 2: She worries her dad might go overboard with “punishing” the person who wronged her (little does she know, after Aurora has calmed down Amy goes MamaBear on everyone’s butts!)

Sonic Prompt

World: The New Game (Sonic 2017)

Couple: Classic Sonic x Amy Rose

Summary: I want an understanding between Classic Sonic and Amy Rose. I think his usual ‘attitude’ will make him dislike her at first, but seeing how she really is will help him understand that she should definitely be his friend! That being said, I want him to kinda be mean to her at first, before seeing (With a little help from Modern Sonic maybe?) that she’s not so bad, considering he hasn’t met Classic Amy yet! (This is supposing he only has Classic Tails in the game) Okay, take your time!

Sonic watched as Amy scolded his younger self, and seeing the look in his eyes, he knew that feisty spirit of freedom of his would clash pretty well with Amy’s words.

In a slight snicker of being thrown back in time to his usual style, he watched as Classic Sonic stuck his tongue at her, and draped down one eyelid to show his lack of respect for her words, and took off.

This made Amy furious, about to stomp off after him before Sonic finally intervened.

“Woah-ho! Don’t rush it, Amy!” He cautioned, moving in front of her and stopping her before her hammer was to come out.

“Ohh!! He’s just so-… so…Ugh! He makes me furious! Can’t he see we’re all in this together? He acts like saving the world is a game! A-“ she stopped herself, her eyes widening as she withdrew her accusing pointed hand towards Classic Sonic and looked to Sonic.

Realizing her error, she shyly looked away and put her pointer fingers together, withdrawing them in near her. “Sorry… That was inconsiderate of me…”

Sonic just smirked, “What? Comparing me to me? I wouldn’t think so.” He found her actions kinda charming, but knew that Classic Sonic had now a judgement on her, and in order to break said judgement, he may need to help Amy out a little more…

“Look, if you want my other me to like you, you’ve gotta calm down a bit.”

Amy looked sorrowfully to Sonic, her eyes big and glistening, her lower lip in a tight puppy-dog pout, “He totally hates me… doesn’t he?”

Sonic sweatdropped, seeing the awkwardness now that she looked so hurt. “Uhh… I wouldn’t say that, but…”

“He’ll never want to meet me at this rate!” She threw her hands to her face and started to cry out loud, making Sonic even more nervous as he held out his hands to try and calm her down, motioning them downward and trying to keep up a smile for her.

“Hey! Woah! Calm down.. there, there… Don’t jump to conclusions, alright? I have an idea.” Sonic winked to her, straightening himself up.

Amy sniffled but turned to him, wiping her eyes. “A-an idea?” She sniffed, “Like what?”

“Well, first. Lose the baby-face.” He took her arms and pulled them gently down, so he could see her face and also, indirectly, tell her to chill out and get a hold of herself.

“Just be yourself.” He stated, “The cool, uh… slightly awkward, but chill you.” Sonic smiled, but was trying to think of something to say to her… not sure what his younger self would really be amazed with, but thinking it a good idea to start by impressing him.

“…Isn’t that basically asking me to be a particular something?” Amy raised an eyebrow.

“Don’t question my methods.” He pointed a finger at her, leaning in, before withdrawing and walking away, waving behind him. “Just impress the kid and you’ll be in.”

“Impress him… right!” Amy put her hands into tight fists and held them up, determined!

However… It was certain that Sonic didn’t mean… what she thought he meant…

Later on the battlefield once more, Amy saw a piece of rock flying towards Classic Sonic.

Sonic’s words rang in her mind and she smiled, racing forward and knocking it away.

“Heh!” she flipped her hair around and stood triumphantly in front of him, making him look up and his mouth form a slight ‘o’ in what looked to be awe in Amy’s eyes.

“You see~” she began, haughtily, before leaning down and holding up a finger to Classic Sonic. “I’m not just some girl who needs to be rescued…”

But while she tried to impress, another piece of rock was coming straight at her, and Classic Sonic ‘bing’ed a game noise and jumped, grabbing her in her shock and spinning her around.

He finally got his feet back on the ground but now had her above his head, holding her up by her back-end, and racing away from all the chaos.

The wobbling and bumpy ride made Amy dizzy and disoriented, as he was too small to really hold her bridal style, and quite frankly, hadn’t learned much about holding women the proper way yet either!

He came to a few winding bends before casting her off him and letting her spin in a twirl away, before Sonic came in at just the right time and caught her dizzy self from falling to the ground. “Easy there!” Sonic stated, pushing Amy back on her feet as she was about to topple over, and helped her remain still by keeping his hands on her back.

He then looked to his younger self, “A little more gentle with the girls there, little me.” He corrected, but in a humorous way.

Classic Sonic looked surprised to hear a ‘slight scold’ from his older self, and folded his arms, glaring.

He certainly didn’t like being told how to save someone.

“W-why does this a-always happen to me?” Amy was still pretty dizzy, but shook her head to try and get her balance back. “I try to impress, but end up in distress.” She ducked her head down and let her arms fall out in front of her too, looking utterly defeated.

Classic Sonic snickered.

That triggered her anger, as her head shot up in rage.

Sonic’s expression changed too, seeing her furious, as she summoned her hammer again and went to storm off and give that punk a lesson!

He quickly grabbed her from behind, stopping her in her tracks, and lifted her off the ground, completely hindering her of any mobility.

Modern Sonic was smart, his experience with her made him know that her appearance certainly didn’t match her immense strength, and by taking away that powerful stance with her legs, she would lose some of that swinging power.

“Amy! You’re only going to make it worse for yourself!” Sonic warned, seeing as she was turning fierce again.

Amy struggled, but ended up stopping her attempts at release and just huffed out her exhaustion.

Classic Sonic had already dashed away, seeing her lose it, and was far gone by now.

Amy went back to being bummed out, as Sonic looked over her shoulder to see she was done with her temper tantrum, and put her down.

“Now he’ll never think I’m cool enough to be his friend…” Amy slouched down to her knees, feeling hopeless at gaining his approval again.

Sonic looked down fondly to his friend, but knew she was in need of a lot of help…

He put his hands to his hips, and shook his head, “Oh, Amy…” He seemed to say that with some charm, not so much a mock.

He smiled the best he could to her, and leaned down to address her, his hand swinging out as he gestured with it while he spoke, keeping the mood peppy and optimistic. “Why not try to be more relaxed and level-headed? Just smile and lot and do your best to help out, he’ll see the good in you.”

Amy’s head swung up and around to look at Sonic, a few signs of a slight cry were noticed but not mentioned, as she rubbed her eyes and got up, turning to him. “You… you think so?”

“Think so?” Sonic knew he needed to comfort her, but couldn’t think of a better way than a challenge! “I know so! After all! I am him.” He motioned his arms out in a shrug almost, before giving her a light hit on her shoulder.

“Like I said! Just show him the good side of ya! You know… the side that’s not so… Grr.” He slightly growled out, showing that Amy can be kinda fierce sometimes…

Amy pulled her act together and nodded, hitting the sides of her face and perking up a bit. “Right! I’ll show him! I’ll show him that it’s fate that we’ll meet, yet!” she raced to the headquarters, as Sonic just sighed, shaking his head with a smile.

“Don’t overdo it… the kid’s not much into sympathy…”

A day later, Amy noticed Classic Sonic zipping around and causing mayhem.

Not liking to be coped up with nothing to do, he was being mischievious, snickering in a corner after changing out Tails’s screws with Knuckles’s grapes, and having Knuckles chew on them and get angry, letting out a big frustrated roar and stomp about; looking for the culprit.

“So.. you like to pick on people, do ya?”

Classic Sonic stopped snickering to turn around and look up.

He wasn’t afraid of her, and clearly showed this by his look of distaste and uncaring yawn at her continual attempts at trying to ‘tame’ him.

Before Amy let out any scolding, she remembered what Sonic had said again, and looked back behind her, thinking of a better strategy then this.

“… always thought a hero was one who helped others?” she began, before looking back to Classic Sonic, who was in a bit of disbelief that she wasn’t yelling at him like usual.

“I mean… um…” she put her hands on her knees, leaning down to address him, but trying to be polite and more… quiet about it. “A guy like you should be looking for what’s next on the agenda for saving the world! You know?”

The second she thought she was getting to him, he walked up and stared at her, before flicking her nose and dashing away.

“OW!” she straightened up and held her hurt nose, before her anger finally got the better of her.

In another room, our Modern Sonic was preparing to eat a delicious looking chilidog, before stopping and looking at all the kitchen utensils shaking and the dirt above the headquarters, which was slightly under the surface, shaking and letting some loose ground fall.

He sighed, turning around, “Here we go again…”

He dashed off, eating the chilidog while he did so, knowing his other self might snatch it from him if he didn’t, and held a second one… just in case~

Amy had once again confronted Classic Sonic, who continued to look calm and collected, looking to her as if she was just another annoyance that he could maybe have some fun teasing and playing around with.

The second Sonic came around from the other end, he hid behind a corner, and leaned against it in the darkness of that lane, smiling.

He knew full well what was coming next, and knew his little self hadn’t experienced a good ‘Amy bashing’ yet, but not by her infamous hammer this time…

“You’re a HERO! Do you think mocking and playing games like this is doing anyone any favors?!” she began, not being able to control her emotions.

“We’re believing in you to help save us! Our future, your future! At least little Tails is pulling his weight, but you? You just keep causing trouble for everyone! And why? Cause you’re BORED?! Get a grip and remember who you are!”

That last line had caught Classic Sonic’s attention.

A moment ago, he had tilted his head slightly to the side with a smile, not caring one bit what this crazy lady was saying, before straightening his head out and blinking his eyes open in a moment of having his heart suddenly pricked.

He rolled his head down and glared at Amy, more offended than anything, before raising an eyebrow to her.

“You heard me! I remember you risking it all for the good of what’s right! And all you’re doing is playing around and causing who knows what destruction behind you!” She swung an arm out and behind her, the other hand up near her face, and her emotion coming through clearly, especially now that he was paying her more attention.

This sparked some kind of intrigue in Classic Sonic, as he turned to face her, leaning forward with his hands on his hips, and slightly tapping his foot.

He was mad, but he was still keeping up his punk-ish demeanor.

“You run around at the speed of sound, so what? If that means you can’t even stop and realize that you could be letting that loose energy out by keeping patrol outside or even trying to find a chaos emerald! Oh, but no… THIS Sonic would rather pull off some stupid pranks that nobody’s impressed with!” She huffed her cause out and then folded her arms, turning her body to the side and looking up with her eyes shut. “Some lousy hero you are!”

As she walked away, Classic Sonic finally let out some emotion, and showed his teeth in utter rage at her comments.

Not only was she right, but he couldn’t fight her.

There was some kind of guilt forming inside him, and he looked down, away from her with a ‘tsk’ and ran out.

Modern Sonic tossed a chilidog up in the air, having it spin as he caught it, and did this a few times before whistling and getting Amy’s attention.

He caught it for the last time as she turned to see him and walked out of the dark. “You really told him what for.”

Amy let out a sigh, and looked sorrowfully down at the ground. “Yeah… but now he’s going to hate me for sure… I guess I couldn’t help myself… you were really being immature!” She pouted and left that last line as a side comment, but Sonic still heard it, and tilted his head, cheekily.

“Once… was me. Don’t get us mixed up, now.” He walked around her and then stopped at the direction she had just come from. “You didn’t see it, but I certainly did. You were the first person to ever really get through to me about what a hero really means. It’s not just all fun and games, sometimes… it’s serious business.” He tossed the chilidog up in the air again, before catching it and licking his lips, really wanting a bite out of it, but stopped before he could as Amy turned back around.

“You mean… he was impressed I stood up to him?” There was a glimmer of hope in Amy’s eyes.

“Uhhh… uh-huh.” Sonic put the chilidog down, sighing again. “Well, kinda. You’re still only half way down the road there, pal.” He teased, doing more tricks in his hand with the chilidog, spinning it around like a twirling stick.

Sonic froze, catching the chilidog.

“You’re going to get chili all over the floor!” Amy scolded, as Sonic just rolled his eyes.

“Some things don’t change..” he started walking away.

“H-hey,… where are you going?” Amy side-stepped, trying to see where he was headed.

“I’ve gotta talk to little me, see if he’s permanently damaged by your ‘moral standings’.” He teased, and dashed off, leaving Amy to her signature, ‘OooooOOoooOOOhhh…’ as she felt her cause was still hopeless once more.

Classic Sonic was really fed up with Amy, but the things she said were sticking in his mind, and pulling at his heart a little to much for his comfort.

Modern Sonic walked up to him, giving him a slight greeting, before having a bit of a bro-to-bro talk.

Amy walked out to the forest after some time, and Classic Sonic just glared in dislike of her, but in a more silly way, not really showing any malice.

“Heh, heh! You’re still pretty torn up from your last encounter with her, huh?” Sonic teased, as Classic Sonic folded his arms, sat down, and looked grumpy as ever…

His head was low against his arms, to where you could only really see his eyes, blinking in their frustrations.

“She really taught you a think or two.” Sonic shook his head, before looking off after Amy. “…You know…”

Classic Sonic turned his head to him.

“She really is a good friend of mine.”

Classic Sonic snorted a disapproval, shuffling and seeming to be further upset by this stated comment.

“Haha, I know it’s not easy to see why right now, but… you’ll see.” He winked to his friend, having been sitting down with him now, laying back and relaxing, but keeping an arm behind him to lean against so he wasn’t too chilled out.

“Amy’s… well, Amy’s a handful sometimes, but you gotta admire her heart.”

Still, Classic Sonic just huffed and ruffled himself further into his grumpy stance, making his quills look messy, as Sonic continued to snicker to himself.

“Look, before you lose complete trust with her, I would like to suggest… a challenge.” He lowered a pointer finger to his grumpy self, as Classic Sonic’s eyes perked up, and he slowly rolled them towards his friend, breaking out of his grump-look and leaning to his friend with curiosity.

“There is a way to see the real Amy. The reason I keep her around.” Sonic explained, before getting up, and striking another signature look of his smile and finger waving, “But it takes strategy… I’ll fill you in on how to get it out of her, but you’ll have to take it from there.”

Classic Sonic bounced up, rolling to his back and then flipping up, before matching Sonic’s look, and seeming interested in what this entailed.

Plus, he was bored. And he was awfully in wonder at how his future self could put up with such a party-pooper.

………..Later in the forest~

Classic Sonic had spotted Amy, looking out over the limited view she had near a few trees, that led down to a lower land.

He paused a moment, gripping the tree and looking down and behind him, before shaking his head, and looking determined to find out what it was about this girl that kept his older self around her for so long.

He took a silent breath and walked out.

Amy heard the tiny footfalls and was surprised as she turned around to see Classic Sonic.

“A-ah! Little Sonic!” she looked around, not sure where to go from here.

He made a frown,… but quickly enacted his older self’s strategy.

To lure the so-called, ‘real her’, he had to charm her up a bit, and so he put on a smile and walked up next to her, trying to look friendly.

“O-oh.. are you.. not mad at me anymore?”

He lowered his head, but nodded, letting out a fake chuckle, and looked away.

It was awkward for a moment, before Amy giggled, and his head shot straight up, before looking at her with that ‘o’ of disbelief as his mouth again.

“I’m so glad! I was worried I’d never see you again!”

The look of pure joy on her face was something that held his eyes… and caused him to stare and search her face a moment.

This was… strange… wasn’t she violent and roaring at him all the time?

“I’m sorry. I really shouldn’t have gotten so mad at you… I understand that your nature is one of being very playful and mischievous, but I usually thought that was more around bad guys…” she stepped a foot out and leaned on it back and forth, having a cute sway as she looked off into the distance up towards the sky to her right, before laughing again and looking to Classic Sonic.

“I’m really sorry. It’s just… when I look at you, I remember all the wonderful adventures and moments I’ve had with you! And well… when you were mean to me… I guess I just got so upset because… because it kinda ruined those moments for me… you know?” She turned away, before putting a finger to her mouth in thought, and turning to him again.

Now he was completely mesmerized at the transformation this lady had undertaken.

In a matter of simply smiling politely to her, she was now so much kinder, sweeter, and genuine.

His eyes blinked in his confusion and surprise.

“U-uh… well, it’s the truth.” She put her hands behind her back and looked down, smiling nervously. “I really don’t want you to judge our relationship based on what you’ve seen or heard… because… I really do still want to meet you, Sonic. And I really want you to meet me too…” she turned to him, “It’s fate! After all! Hehe~”

Her giggle and sudden excitement, turning to him and hopping a little towards him made him step back and his hands move back to balance himself with his reaction to her advance, but he couldn’t help but be in awe at how… how…

Cute this girl was turning out to be…

Did she really admire him that much?

“Hmm? What? Don’t understand?”

He shook his head, being sincere about the situation.

“Hmm.. let me think.” She leaned up a moment, before clapping her hands, “Ah-ha! I know!”

She giggled again and rushed over to his side, sitting down and making him nervous as she tucked her dress down and laid on the grass near him.

She patted the spot next to her, inviting him to sit too.

He really didn’t want to be so close to this girl, but he ended up remembering the strategy, and reluctantly, plopped down.

Still, his head was up to the side, opposite of her, and his eyes were closed. Distancing himself from her in a body-language way.

“Still being the cool-kid, huh?” she teased, before looking up at the sky again. “I remember being so amazed at how you would be so brave as to always do the right thing… even when no one else would…”

Sonic’s eyes shot open, and he turned to look at her, slowly though, and in increments.

She closed her eyes, reminiscing, “I still remember seeing you for the first time… Hehe! You were so cool! And very handsome.” She nodded her head.

Classic Sonic stared before his face turned to one of pride, and then looked up with a haughty smile on his face, eyes closed as she flicked his nose with his thumb, as if saying, ‘Of course! I’m irresistible!’.

She laughed again, before continuing, “You would save anyone who ever had need of you… and you would do so in a heartbeat! Literally! It really made me admire you a lot.”

She turned to him with a pleasant smile, that Classic Sonic could see a glimmer of what his older self had meant… about who she really was.

He searched her eyes and saw nothing but kindness, and a good heart

“I hope this means you won’t regret meeting me… or even try and dodge the encounter because…” she got up again, startling him slightly as he got up to follow her movement.

“Because… I really do like you a lot.. Sonic.. The Hedgehog.”

She spoke into her hand, as if trying to hide her blush, before turning around and shaking her head. “Oh man! How embarrassing! Hehe! We barely even know each other! Well, you don’t know me very well, but I certainly know you! Hehehe~”

Something loud and disturbing beat in Sonic’s little heart, and it rapidly increased as he noticed her smile get bigger and bigger, and her laughter grow louder and louder, and almost wished it wouldn’t end.

He brought her so much joy in memory… he didn’t understand it, but he definitely understood what his heart was saying.

She calmed down and nodded to him, before turning to walk away. “I… I hope you’ll treat her kindly… Sonic.”

As she departed, Classic Sonic’s face turned grim, as he held out a sorrowful hand to her, but couldn’t seem to let himself stop her.

He looked around quickly, before letting an open-smile cross his face and dashing to retrieve what he had seen.

Zipping in front of her in a blue blur of light, he held out a simple, but beautiful looking pink flower to her, with little dew drops making it shine in the evening light.

She gasped, and leaned down to receive his gift, as he did a little showy pose for her, and left her with a ‘handsome’ signature look.

“Oh, you really are a charmer, aren’t you?” she teased him, before looking at the flower thoughtfully,… thinking…

“…Does this mean… you still want me as a friend?” She asked, her face showing her hope for the answer to remain a yes.

Classic Sonic’s expression changed to a softer one, something he wasn’t used too doing, being gentle and sweet around people.

He took a big breath and bowed to her, before winking and doing another pose before dashing off.

Amy got up, and watched after him, seeing he had pulled out a chilidog and started to eat it too.

The challenge came with a reward for completing it… it seemed.

“See? Told ya it was easy.”

Amy looked behind her to see Modern Sonic walk out, winking to her as he noticed her slight tears from being given a flower and accepted by his past self once more.

“O-oh?” she wiped her eyes, “I.. I didn’t even notice I was..”

Sonic chuckled and moved a hand up to her face, using the palm of his hand to wipe the remaining water out of her eyes. “Why do you always cry? It’s a little embarrassing, honestly.” He teased.

She giggled, liking his sudden show of affection, before he leaned back and put his hands on his hips, shaking his head. “That kid… will he ever learn? But I suppose you know now,… he’s cool with ya.” Sonic winked again, as Amy’s entire face lit up with approval.

“Yes! I’m still his friend!” She struck a triumphant pose, before Sonic had to ruin the moment with-

“Really? You’re this happy for being in the friendzone?”

Amy’s whole being looked like it had been shot through and shaken by lightning.

Sonic laughed again, “Well, at least your happy.” He continued to tease her, making her get close to her breaking point.

“Why are you being so mean now…” she pouted, whining out the complaint as he held his arms out to excuse himself.

“Hey, I was just letting you know the current situation. But the more he comes to know you… I think the more he’ll stick around.” Sonic smirked and gave another wink to her, as Amy got up and dashed over to him, stopping right in front of him.

“Oh! Don’t act like you’re the one ‘sticking around’, Sonic! Admit it! I’m the only girl who’d ever put up with you! Hmph.” She turned around with a puffed up cheek, and then looked lovingly back to the flower in her hand, turning it slightly so she could see the dew, which sparkled like diamonds at this angle…

Sonic looked down at it, before moving his eyes up to see her face, and smiled again.

He plucked the flower from her hand and surprised her by placing it right next to her ear, using her headband to keep it in place, and putting the stem through her hair so it would hold.

She turned to look at him as he admired the positioning of it a moment, a hand up to his chin, before stating, “Heh, beautiful!” and then returning to his normal stance.

“You told me it was fate, right? Well, if it really is fate, then maybe you are the only woman who would put up with me.”

Amy held her silence, awestruck by what he had just said.

“Buuuut~” a wicked grin suddenly formed as he held a finger up, and started to calmly walk away. “You also called me a charmer! And that means that you’re not the only one who finds me…” he turned around, striking a flirty pose, “irresistible.”

“Whoops! Triggered the ‘Grr’!”

Sonic dashed off as Amy stormed after him, but all the while, a playful and mischievous smile on his face, almost thrilled to be chased after, even if she did look a little scary…

there’s still so much drama and I still feel people need to chill but here’s a thing: did you consider that at this point the writers just TRUST us to know that Jake would apologize??? He apologizes all the time?? And this is a comedy show they cant always have it serious and somber, I’m p sure if they had time they would add him apologizing. It’s an ensemble show, not a show about Jake and Amy and tbh do you REALLY think Amy would just be okay with what Jake did and not demand an apology from him AND holt (she made them walk 31 flights of stairs guys. 31)

Can you make an imagine about Ruby Rose an (Y/N) being together, and one night a girl flirt with (Y/N) and Ruby is so mad she is fighting with that girl and the police comes and she needs to go with them then Ruby and (Y/N) are fighting and you can imagine the rest.

So idk if this is good but yolo!

“But Y/N, you know I don’t drink,” Ruby whined, flopping back on our shared bed, still trying to get out of going tonight.
“And you know I hate my coworkers and need someone there to entertain me,” I fired back, pining a few of my curls back so they wouldn’t get in my face. “Come on, it’s not like I’m going to force you to have a drink. Someone needs to drive home anyway.”
“Why can you ask Y/BF/N to go with you?” she pouted, rolling onto her side so she was looking straight at me, clearly not happy about being asked to go.
“She’s out of the country Rubs,” I rolled my eyes, pulling my pyjama shirt off and throwing it at her. “I thought you’d like to see me in a short dress.”
“Doesn’t mean I want everyone else to see you in one,” she huffed, lifting herself up to lean on her elbows, watching me walk around the room in only my bra and undies.
“I’ll even wear the navy lace dress you bought me,” I teased, taking said dress out of the closet and holding it up against my body, giving her a hopeful look. She let out a groan, trying to cover her smile with her hands and failing miserably.
“Fine, I’ll go with you,” she sighed, making me squeal and jump on top of her, peppering kisses all over her face. “But you’re limited to like 3 drinks.”
“That’s fine by me,” I grinned, giving her lips one last kiss before rolling off, throwing various clothes at her, instructing her to quickly get dressed. “Tonight is going to be a great night.”

You had been at the club for just over an hour and things were going fine. Ruby had indeed limited you to 3 drinks only, so you were making the most of the one you had in your hands right now.
“Y/N, come dance with me!” my drunken colleague Amy giggled, tugging on my arm, trying to persuade me to dance.
“You are so drunk,” I laughed, pulling my arm free and cuddling further into Ruby’s side, shaking my head at the drunken girl standing in front of me.
“I’m drunk on your sexiness,” she swooned, making me chuckle.
“Sure you are Amy,” I rolled my eyes, used to her flirting ways. A lot of the people I worked with weren’t straight, and whilst a majority of them were respectful of my relationship with Ruby, Amy just never seemed to get that I was off the market. “Go be with that girl that’s been eyeing you off all night. I’m sure she would love to dance with you.”
“But I wanna dance with you,” she whined, pouting her lip mockingly. I raised my brow challengingly, giving her a dead look before she finally sulked away to the bar.
“Jesus christ, does she not know the meaning off ‘in a relationship’,” Ruby huffed, watching the retreating girl with a stern glare.
“She’s always been like that,” I shrugged, leaning my head on her shoulder. “I’m used to it.”
“Someone needs to say something before I do,” she pulled a face, tightening her grip on my waist when she saw Amy turn back around and stare at us.
“Come on, don’t start a fight Rubs,” I chuckled, resting my hand on her upper thigh teasingly. “You know I’d never leave you, especially not for her. You’re too pretty.”
“I knew you only wanted me for my looks,” she playfully scoffed, poking my sides, making me squeal.
“Well, you do make pretty good pancakes as well,” I teased, letting out a loud shriek when she pounced on me, running her hands up and down my sides. “No n-no please stop! I’m sorry!” I giggled, trying to push her hands away from my body.
“Say ‘Ruby is the best girlfriend in the world and I love everything about her’,” she quoted, a devilish smile on her face.
“But it’s not true,” I teased, squealing louder when she continued to tickle me. “Ok ok! Ruby is the best girlfriend in the world!”
“And…” she raised a perfect brow, removing her hands from my waist.
“And I love everything about her,” I grinned, wrapping my arms around her neck and yanking her down to me, biting my lip and giving her, what I hoped was, a sultry look.
“God, you drive me crazy,” she sighed, pressing her lips against my own, making me giggle into the kiss. “Stop laughing.”
“Sorry, I can’t help it,” I mumbled. “I just love you so much.”

“Ok just wait here, I’ll go get the car,” Ruby wrapped her blazer around my shoulders, pecking my cheek quickly before running off to wherever we parked the car. I had been complaining for the past 30 minutes or so about my feet hurting, Ruby just commenting that I shouldn’t have worn 5 inch heels to a club. I shivered as a sudden cold wind ripped through the empty street, making me pull her jacket tighter around my body, mentally cursing myself for wearing a dress instead of pants.
“You alright there Y/N?” Amy appeared beside me, slipping her arms through her own coat. “You look a little lonely.”
“Ruby went to get the car, I’m just waiting for her,” I gave her a small smile, eyeing the clearly drunk girl swaying next to me. “Do you need a lift home Amy?”
“Imma get a cab,” she grinned, stumbling slightly in her tall heels, making no effort to actually call a cab.
“Are you sure? I don’t think I feel comfortable letting you go alone when you’re like this,” I reached my arm out, preparing to catch her incase she fell.
“Awww,” she cooed, staring up at me through her messy hair. “You do care about me.”
“Of course I care,” I rolled my eyes, letting out a sigh of relief when I saw Ruby’s car stop in front of me. “Ruby, we’re taking Amy home.” Ruby screwed her nose up but gestured to the back of the car. I opened the back door, all but throwing Amy into the back, struggling to put on her seatbelt whilst she was trying to give me a hug. “Amy stop. Sit still.”
“But I want a cuddle,” she pouted, whining when I closed the door. I stumbled around to the passenger seat, toeing my shoes off and blasting the heater, sighing when Ruby began to drive.
“I can’t believe I’m driving the girl that flirts with my girlfriend home,” Ruby sighed, shaking her head slightly.
“Think of it as driving your girlfriends work friend home,” I placed a hand on her thigh, patting it comfortingly. “Plus, I think she’s asleep anyway.” One glance to the backseat confirmed my suspicions, seeing Amy passed out on the backseat, head occasionally smacking lightly against the window whenever we would turn or go over a bump.
“I should make a sharp turn… Might knock the stupid out of her,” Ruby huffed, making me scoff, trying to hide a smile. “Even you have to admit she’s an idiot.”
“She’s good at what she does, that’s all I care about,” I shrugged. We sat in silence for the next few minutes, the only talking being me directing Ruby where to go, much to her annoyance. When we stopped outside of Amy’s apartment building, we both got out to help the drunk out of the car.
“How do you even know where she lives?” Ruby asked, grunting at the dead weight she was holding up.
“We had to work together on something once,” I shrugged, ignoring her annoyed look. “I came over a few times so we could get it done.”
“You’ve been with her alone!” her eyes widened to the size of saucers, almost dropping the girl we were balancing between us.
“And she loved it,” Amy suddenly spoke, her words slurring. “We had the time of our lives with no girlfriend to stop us.”
“Shut it! If I let you go right now, you’ll probably break your ankle,” Ruby growled, making the drunk girl laugh.
“Y/N will hold me up,” she grinned, squeezing my shoulder. “She’s done it before.”
“I swear to fucking god I’m literally going to kill you,” Ruby let go of the girl, making me squeal and stumble slightly, trying to support the dead weight in my arms.
“Try me you fucking queer,” Amy sneered, pushing herself out of my arms, staggering slightly.
“Are you serious?” Ruby laughed. “You like girls too you dumb fuck!”
“I’m straight, Y/N is just an exception,” Amy grinned, glancing at me out of the corner of her eye.
“Alright, you’re both acting like idiots,” I stepped in-between the two, placing a hand on Ruby’s chest to try calm her down. “Amy, get inside your apartment, now.”
“Why don’t you come with me?” she bit her lip, reaching out a hand to try and pull me with her.
What happened next was something neither of us expected.
I was pushed back gently by Ruby, my fuming girlfriend literally jumping on Amy, fist connecting with her nose.
“LEAVE MY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND ALONE!” Ruby yelled, one hand gripping Amy’s hair tightly, pulling her head back painfully. “She’s in a relationship! She would never go for an easy slut like you!”
“Ruby stop!” I squealed, tugging on the arm that still had Amy’s hair in its grasp, trying to stop the fight before it escalated any further.
“You obviously don’t know the shit your ‘girlfriend’ has done when you’re not there,” Amy sneered, making me roll my eyes at her comment.
“Don’t listen to her Ruby, she’s just drunk,” I pleaded with her, wincing when I heard sirens. “Ruby stop! The cops are here!”
“Hey! What’s going on over there!” a loud voice yelled, making Ruby let go of Amy’s hair, standing up and pulling me against her chest, continuously muttering sorry’s into my hair. “Ladies, what’s happened here?”
“This fucking freak just attacked me,” Amy slurred, clutching her head in pain.
“You were sexually harassing my girlfriend!” Ruby yelled back.
“Everyone just needs to calm down and stop yelling,” the office held his hands up, obviously tired from a long night of work. “Now you.” He pointed to me, making me tense up. “Tell me what happened.”
“We were just out at a club and Amy drank a lot so I told her we would drive her home. She’s always been a flirt but since she’s had a lot to drink, she just said a lot of crap that she wouldn’t usually say and Ruby got angry,” I simply said, avoiding his gaze. “This is just a misunderstanding sir.”
“Well be as it may, I still need to take you guys in,” he gave me a soft look, gesturing for Ruby to get in the car. “You can drive behind if you’d like.”

I had been sat in an uncomfortable chair at the station for a little over an hour, resorting to playing candy crush on my phone, pulling the blanket that an office gave me tighter around my shivering body.
“Ms Y/L/N?” a deep voice spoke, making me look up, seeing Ruby standing her with her knuckles wrapped, grinning sheepishly. “You guys can leave now.”
“Thank you officer,” I smiled, handing back the blanket and taking Ruby’s hand, tugging her out to the car. I zoomed out of the parking lot, hands gripping the wheel tightly.
“Y/N,” she started, giving me a soft look.
“No,” I interrupted, glaring at the road ahead. “Ruby are you seriously that fucking stupid! Amy was drunk as hell and you could have been put in jail for hitting her! You can’t just go around punching anyone that looks at me!”
“I’m sorry,” she frowned, picking at her nails nervously. “But she was just saying so much shit and I couldn’t handle the though of you actually leaving me.”
“Ruby, I’m not going to fucking leave you!” I pulled over to the side of the road, turning in my seat and giving her a stern look. “This is going to be all over the news tomorrow! Think of what this is doing to your career!”
“I know ok!” she sighed, dropping her head into her hands. “I know I was being an idiot and I know I can’t go around hitting people, but you mean everything to me, and I don’t particularly like when people are saying disgusting things like that about you!”
“Rubs, I can handle the shit that everyone says about me,” I sighed, placing a comforting hand on her knee. “Your fans aren’t exactly the most comforting group of people. You just need to know that I am not going to leave you. Ever.”
“I-I know,” she placed her hand on top of mine, her thumb rubbing soothingly against my own. “I still don’t like the comments.”
“I know you don’t,” I gave her a small smile. “How about next time you get angry with someone because of what they’ve said, you tell me and we can have crazy rough sex all over the house?” She started to laugh, turning so she was looking at me.
“That sounds like a wonderful idea. In fact, I think we should go and do that right now.”

shamy-joshleen-shipper requested this prompt: So Meemaw dies and Sheldon doesn’t want to talk to anyone but Amy.

Hey! Sorry it took so long, school work has been piling up. But anyway, here it is. Its a little bit angsty but there’s fluff at the end. I hope you like it. Enjoy!

Sheldon never thought this day would come; one of the most important people in his life, dead. He had prepared for almost everything in his life but Meemaw’s death was not one of them. He was at work when he got the news from his mother, he just wanted to kick and scream, but he knew it would do no good. Instead, he just went straight to his apartment without telling the guys. He needed time to think about the situation, to let it sink in. As soon as he got home, he went straight to his room and cried. All the pains of being physically bullied was no match to what he felt.

As lunch time came, the guys looked for Sheldon around the campus. They all tried calling him but there was no answer, instead they got a text from him.

S: “Leave me alone.”

They decided to visit Amy and ask her if she knew where Sheldon was and why was he acting so weird.

“Hey, Amy. Are you busy?” Leonard asked as he knocked on her door.

“No, I was just going to the cafeteria to meet you,” Amy said as she removed her lab coat and collected her things. “Where’s Sheldon?” She asked.

“Thats what we came to ask you. He wasn’t in his office and he had no classes today. We tried calling him but he told us to leave him alone,” Leonard explained. “Can you call him? Maybe he would answer,” He asked.

“Sure, you guys go ahead. I’ll catch up,” Amy said as she fished for her phone in her pocket.

“Thanks, Amy. We’ll see you later,” Howard said as they left for the cafeteria.

“What has gotten in him now?” Amy asked herself as she hit the call button. After a few tries, there was still no answer. She decided to try one last time before joining the guys for lunch. As she hit the call button, there was an immediate answer. “Sheldon, finally. Where are you?” Amy asked worriedly.

“I’m at home,” Sheldon replied as he wiped his tears.

“Why? The guys were looking everywhere for you. What happened?” She asked but there was no answer. “Sheldon? Come on, what happened?” She asked again but still no response, instead he just cried harder. “Sheldon, sweetheart, do you want me to come over?” Amy asked, hoping she would get a response.

“Yes, please,” Sheldon said sniffling

“Okay, I’m on my way. See you soon, I love you,” Amy said as she hung up and shot a text to Leonard.

A: “Sheldon is at your apartment. I’m heading over. See you soon.”

After she sent the text, she collected her stuff and headed to her car. Knowing that Sheldon was crying worried her and made her tear up a little. As soon as she got to his apartment, she opened the door with her spare key and made her way to his room. She knocked at his door, respecting his privacy.

“Sheldon? It’s Amy. Can I come in?” Amy asked, wiping away the tears that were threatening to fall.

Sheldon stood up from his bed and opened the door for her. As soon as she saw him with bloodshot eyes, she couldn’t help hug him, she knew he needed it.

“Oh my, Sheldon. What happened? Are you okay?” Amy asked as she pulled away from the hug and cupped his face, wiping the tears from his eyes.

“No. Mee- She…” Sheldon tried to explain but he just couldn’t accept the fact that his Meemaw was dead.

“Shh. Its okay. You don’t have to tell me now,” She said giving him another hug. “Do you want me to leave you alone?” She asked.

“No. Please stay, as much as I want to be alone, I know it would be better here with you,” Sheldon spoke as he pulled her lightly towards his bed and sat her down.

“Okay. Come here,” Amy said, opening her arms for another hug but instead of hugging her back, Sheldon made her sit against the headboard, and she did, before wrapping one of his arm around her shoulder and leaned his head on top of hers as Amy cuddled up next to Sheldon.

After a few minutes of silence and cuddling each other, Sheldon finally calmed down. “She died, Amy. Meemaw died, and you haven’t even met her yet.” Amy looked at him, tears were now rolling down her face.

“Oh Sheldon, I’m so sorry,” Amy said as she hugged him tighter. She had been wishing to meet his Meemaw for a long time, now it can’t happen.

“Even though she never met you, she loved you so much. Every time I would call, she would always ask about you. She would always push me to ask you to marry me, she was so wild. She told me that the moment you called her for her Christmas Cookies she knew you were really special, before she would never give her special recipes to anyone, I was so surprised that she gave it to you, not even my mother knows the recipe.” Sheldon uttered with a small laugh.

“She was so sweet on the phone, her voice was hypnotic. Now I know where you got that from.” Amy smiled and gave him a peck on the cheek, “I remember when she called me, she didn’t believe it was me because she didn’t think I sounded so sweet and cute, now I also know where you got your charms.” She winked at him.

“Well, my whole family loves you. Even my cousins that you haven’t even met yet, they know about you and since I sent them our prom picture, they keep on insisting on bringing you to Texas. I told them you weren’t ready for their craziness. But soon you will,” Sheldon said as he pulled her closer and kissed her forehead.

“Are they really that crazy?” Amy asked, looking at him curiously.

“Yes, but they are nice crazy, not creepy crazy,” Sheldon explained.

“If they are crazy like you, then I can handle them just fine,” Amy spoke before burying her face in his chest and hugging him tightly as Sheldon wrapped his arms around her.

“I’m not crazy, my mother had me tested,” Sheldon argued, making Amy look up at him with an eyebrow raised. “Okay, maybe I am a little crazy.” He said as he cupped her cheek. “Crazy for you.” He continued, making her smile as he leaned in for a kiss, but his lips stayed longer than he planned.

“I knew you would make me feel better,” Sheldon whispered when he pulled away. “I love you so much,” He continued.

“Not as much as I love you.”
