calling derek

Just throwing this out there in case someone knows this fic…

Derek and Stiles are in the store and split up to go get some items. Derek runs into Danny, Stiles’ ex. Danny cheated on stiles while in college. Danny implies that Stiles still loves him. Stiles walks over and says,  "What do you want Daniel?“ Then after Derek reveals the situation, tells him off. Throughout the entire scene, Derek calls Danny by the wrong name. As they leave, Derek says, "Bye Denny’s”.

Stiles hates the new guy at the office. Derek’s a natural at everything the job throws at him, whereas Stiles still sometimes struggles to use the fax machine. Derek’s really nice too – he’ll bring coffee for the whole team and always asks if everyone’s okay. Stiles… doesn’t do that. The biggest problem of all? Since Derek’s arrival Stiles just. can’t. focus. He zones out in meetings because he’s too busy trying to work out the color of Derek’s eyes. He’s missing deadlines because he gets distracted wondering if Derek likes guys, if Derek’s seeing someone, if Derek would keep his glasses on whilst they– Derek’s very distracting is the point, and it’s starting to affect Stiles’ work. So, yes. Stiles hates Derek. Still loves to watch him leave though.

Stiles hears whispers about the hot grad assistant in his criminal psych class so he grabs a seat near the front and waits for the said GA to come into the classroom.

He isn’t expecting Derek Hale to walk in wearing a soft blue sweater, dark jeans, and GLASSES.

He really isn’t expecting Derek to smile at the class and start passing out the syllabus.

He’s down right shocked when Derek gets to him and stops what he’s doing to stare openly at him.

And Stiles, being the little shit he is gives Derek a cocky smile and a wink as he says, “Long time no see, should I call you professor?”

Derek blinks and looks around the room to see everyone gaping at them. “I’m Derek Hale and this is intro to criminal psychology, Dr. Parker will be in shortly, she was running late.”

The semester ends up consisting mostly of Stiles flirting with Derek and busting his ass in the class to impress him.

Except Derek isn’t taking the bait because he’s trying to be professional. But as soon as he finishes grading the last final for the class he shows up outside of Stiles dorm and kissed the shit of him.

“About time,” Stiles says when they finally break apart, “Want to come in? We’ve got some making up to do.”

Derek just nods and follows Stiles inside the room where they spend the night making out, watching movies, and catching up about the last few years.

You know what I think?

‪I think Derek actually is the one who had Stiles questioning if he only liked girls.

I feel like at first he just realized “huh, he’s so goodlooking wow.” Then that morphed into like a sexual thing. Like he only really saw Derek’s good looks and the whole cool werewolf thing as his only good qualities at first because ya know, they used to hate each other.

So it made Stiles question but he could easily brush it off at first because he’s still a teenager and he doesn’t have it all figured out yet, the whole “this is just a phase” thing.

But then he actually starts liking Derek, in a “we’re sort of an odd duo, but we do make a pretty good pair” (of friends!!!!). Like they actually got passed the “you need me to survive that’s why you’re helping” stage. He really just genuinely started liking Derek, just calm friendly like at first, but that like into more of a crush like than a friend like without him even noticing.

And he feels it there but he just avoids it but then that night at the glow in the dark party? Kaitlyn asks the golden question, “do you?”

And he just sits there for a while. His mind immediately flashes to Derek and he thinks like “wait a minute, I actually fucking might,” like guys, that is.

Stiles sort of realizes it’s become more than “you’re hot and I wanna experiment,” and more than, “I actually don’t mind hanging out with you anymore, it’s kind of cool because you’re not as much of a shitty person as I thought you were.” It’s more of a “I really think I’m falling for you but I’ve liked girls my whole life and we used to hate each other. What’s going on?”

So he doesn’t get the chance to ever answer because he really isn’t sure at first. But the thoughts after that question are stuck with him. And overtime, he starts noticing little things about Derek, like really taking note. Like Derek’s actually smart and actually selfless and his bunny teeth and how he’s actually funny when he tries (it’s a bland and dry humor, snarky remarks when they bicker and Stiles gets sarcastic but Stiles appreciates and enjoys it regardless). Stiles starts realizing all these things that could factor into why he might actually like Derek (if he does because he isn’t 100% on that yet).

He starts realizing that Derek really isn’t the guy he met back in the woods, that Derek is more, that Derek is actually a great person under that hard exterior. He starts realizing how he used to get and still gets whenever something goes wrong with Derek, how he starts worrying and all. He starts looking at Derek in a new way, looks when Derek is oblivious, sort of the whole “admire from afar” thing, and can hardly help it, can hardly deny that he starts getting a little happier whenever Derek comes around, but he’s still, in a way, denial.

The night Derek almost dies changed that because for a brief moment he felt like he stopped breathing as he watched Derek bleed out on the ground.

He felt numb and he wanted to stay but knew he couldn’t. All he could do was hope that Derek would still be well and alive in the morning, that they would all be, and then he’d be able to tell Derek because he knew completely. Knew what it felt like to almost lose someone you care about so much.

Stiles wasn’t sure what he was going to say, how Derek would take it or how it would effect them, but it didn’t really matter in the end because he never got to say it.

Derek left and Stiles couldn’t even be mad because he knew Derek needed it, deserved it.

So, life went on and he tried to shove his feelings aside because it didn’t really matter anymore.

Except it did, which he realizes on the night at the school, seeing Derek’s initials.

I’d like to think that the reason for Stiles’ smile was because he had fully come to term with the fact that he did indeed have feelings for Derek. He wasn’t able to tell Derek, but he could finally admit it to himself.

No more questioning, no more “this is just a phase.” None of that.

Stiles just accepted it, and he was okay with it.

whenever bitty says anything remotely NSFW or inappropriate the Frogs cover their ears and scream “MOOOOM STOOOPP”

Still Beautiful. (Pack/Scott McCall Imagine)

Request: Hey can you do a teen wolf imagine where the reader is Derek’s little sister and is covered in burn scars from the fire so she is really self conscious about her body, but the pack tries to make her feel better about herself. -thanks!

Okay, I’m sorry I’m incredibly inactive when it comes to actually writing and posting things. It’s really hard to this when you have school and finals. But now that I’m on Winter Holiday, I think we’re good…

Another note, I felt as if this would be really cute as a Scott McCall imagine and seeing as I haven’t written anything for Scott, I went ahead and made it a Scott McCall imagine as well. I hope you don’t mind that I did so.

REQUESTS ARE OPEN! But bear with me. :)

I hope you enjoy!

Scott has only seen your body once. It was the night of a full moon and Derek called him in a panic as he realized you, being a young, evolved wolf, had shifted and ran off into the forest. After Scott roared at you, you shifted back into your naked human form that had burn scars and marks all over your body. But even though you saw yourself as a complete monster, fangs and scars and all, Scott assured you that he saw nothing short of beauty.

But Scott’s constant compliments and Derek’s support never stopped your wavering confidence. Although most days you’ve come to terms that you will never heal nor share the same physique as your sister Cora, some days you never felt at home in your own body. And today was one of those days.

The pack decided to go to the beach, of all places. And although Scott urged them to choose a new location, in fear that the venue would upset you, you encouraged their plans. He drove Stiles’s jeep, with Stiles as passenger, and you and Lydia in the back. Lydia was sporting a summer dress with her swim suit underneath while you wore Scott’s baggy sweater and some cut offs that showed off the only part of your body that hadn’t been burned by the fire.

Scott glanced at you in worry, getting a whiff of your anxious chemo signals, but you gave him a reassuring smile. The others had been looking forward for today and you certainly didn’t plan to be the kill joy.

As the pack unloaded, you offered to stay back to watch their things. Only Malia, Lydia, and Scott found this odd but the two girls rushed off into the cool ocean waters, thinking that it was just girly problems. But Scott knew.

“You okay?” He asked, sitting down next to you. You nodded. “I’ll stay with you.”

“Go, have fun with the others. I’m fine.” You assured your boyfriend. And although he knew better, Scott nodded and discarded his shirt before giving you a peck on the lips and running into the waters.

As time went on and as the beach got more and more packed, you couldn’t help but feel out of place in Scott’s sweater as you watched other girls show off their blemish free bikini-ready bodies. A group of teenage boys parked themselves next to the pack’s belongings, you sat on a beach towel and they snickered as they whispered. You being a werewolf, heard every single word and “prude” had been their popular phrase. And their comments never stopped. You closed your eyes in fear that tears would fall from your eyes.

You didn’t realize that the pack had soon surrounded you, taking a break from their fun. Scott nudged you. “What’s wrong babe?” He whispered. You shook your head, feeling a tear roll down your cheek.

“Aw… She’s crying. Bet you he broke up with that prude for the hot girl with the red hair.” A boy joked loudly to his friends, causing the group to laugh. Malia growled, hearing his comment.

“Hey, leave her alone.” Liam snapped.

“She can’t fend for herself?” A boy laughed. You took a deep breath, feeling your canines expanding. Scott grabbed onto your forearm and rubbed it soothingly. But you snapped your hand away and got up. “She doesn’t even let him touch her. She is a prude.” You heard Stiles’s voice arguing for your defense but you were too busy listening to the ocean, in an attempt to block out the voices, to pay attention.

Scott had grabbed onto your waist and nuzzled his head in the crook of your neck. “I love you, you know.” He whispered. You nodded. “Those guys are asses. You’re beautiful.” You turned and smiled at him, giving him a peck on the lips.

“I don’t care what they think.” You whispered back, more to convince yourself than him. “You are the most truthful person I know, Scott. You wouldn’t lie.”

“No I won’t.” Scott said, pecking your lips once more.

“Well I want to show you something.” You smiled, feeling a rush of confidence you never felt before. Scott gave you a confused look as you bolted for the water, his sweater flying through the air.

Scott ran after you and splashed into water. You greeted him with a long, passionate kiss as he took in what was in front of him. You wore a black bikini, that showed off your werewolf physique and although you were self conscious about the scars that detailed your every curve, you knew that Scott found you beautiful and in his gaze you felt beautiful.

“Woah, there’s that boy with a hot chick.” You both heard the familiar voice of that boy from earlier.

“That’s the same girl you idiots called a prude.” Lydia smirked as Scott pulled you into another kiss.

“Scars or no scars, (Y/N). You’re Still Beautiful to me.” Scott told you, lovingly.

I like to think that Stiles calls Derek by the most ridiculous pet names and they just get more and more absurd the longer they’re together, Derek fronts like he doesn’t like it but he secretly loves it and Stiles knows it….

“Hey Pookie.”
“Stiles stop with the pet names.”
“Okay Honey Boo.”

“Sugar Plum would you pass me the salt.”
Derek growls but still passes him the salt

“Honey Bunches of Lovemaking what time is the movie?”
“For Christ sake Stiles.”

“Stiles can you grab the diaper bag?”
“Course I can my Big Bad Daddy Wolf.”
“What the hell Stiles.”
“Yeah I heard it and I won’t ever use that one again.”

“Hello my little Snuggle Wuggle Hubby.”

“Derek can you make sure Lo has her gym clothes?”
“What did you call me?”
“Why not something stupid like Fluffy Snuggle Bear or Love Bear?”
“You told me you hate the pet names.”
“It’s been 15 years, they grew on me.”

“Snickerdoodle I’m home.”
Derek kisses him until both of them are out of breath. Laura and John both pretend to vomit.

David Tennant and Freema Agyeman - Out and about

Stiles is definitely the kind of guy who hops into the shower with his boyfriend and calls it saving water.

Derek is definitely the of guy who pretends to hate it, but makes sure to get a bigger shower put in when he renovates his bathroom so that they don’t have to squish into the small stall anymore.

McCall Pack x Reader

Requested by @calpalkenzie

“I dunno what’s wrong with her Scott, she’s acting like she’s nervous.” Stiles rubbing his hands together as he thought over catching you last night, he didn’t know what you were doing but you screamed at him for checking in on you like he normally did before he went to bed.

“Maybe she’s just out grown you tucking her in?” Scott offered, waving at one of their friends who had begged the entire pack to support them at the school’s talent show, Malia had been curious to the pack ended up agreeing.

“Scott, when there’s a thunder storm she gets in my bed and makes me call Derek!” Stiles sighed. “Also, have I told you that he never picks up but he seems to always tell when it’s her calling, even on my phone!”

“Well he did save her from getting eaten by me… Peter, Isaac, Boyd and Cora so she’s going to trust him I guess.” Scott chuckled but Stiles shook his head.

Close Call

A/N: An anon request for a Derek x Reader where the reader is a teacher and a student brings a gun to school. Morgan naturally freaks out when the BAU is called in. The team doesn’t know Morgan is dating anyone, but they’ve been together for a while. @coveofmemories

“Everyone be ready in 10 minutes,” Hotch said, as he passed their desks. “A student at Woodrow Wilson High School has a classroom hostage with two guns. He’s already shot 20 people. Six are dead. Now he’s demanding to speak with someone.”

“Do we know what classroom he has hostage? Is the unsub part of that class?” Derek asked, trying to mask the terror in his voice. Y/N taught at that school; they’d been dating for nearly a year, but nobody knew.

“The teacher in the classroom is Y/F/N Y/L/N,” he said matter of factly. From what the authorities on site can understand, she has kept him from shooting anyone else, but he won’t let them leave the classroom. As for being in her class, he’s not, but he is in the same grade. His homeroom teacher is one of the six already dead,” Hotch said, looking around at the rest of the team. Derek was jumping out of his skin. He couldn’t lose her.

“What’s the unsub’s backstory?” Spencer asked, already making a judgement as to what drove the unsub to a mass shooting. “Do we know what drove him to this?”

JJ was looking over the files in the front seat of the SUV. “Exactly what you’d expect Spence,” she said sadly, “Jaxson Lindsey is the son of a single father. His mother died of lymphoma when he was just four years old. The father is notoriously strict and although Jaxson has never said as much, hospital records indicate that he’s been abused since he was a child.”

Spencer knew the story all too well. “And his school life?” he asked, looking for confirmation.

“The school has his name attached to numerous bullying incidents, however all of them ended in the other students somehow getting off the hook. Two of the six victims, Rhett Way and Sean Travers, are also mentioned in these reports.”

Derek hadn’t said a word in the back of the car. What if this kid went off again? He’s already shot 20 people. He had an assault rifle. Derek was in love with Y/N; he could lose her. He hadn’t realized his facial expressions were giving him away until Spencer turned to him. “Are you okay, Morgan?” he asked quietly.

“I’m fine kid. I just want to get this kid out without anyone else getting hurt,” Derek responded.

Derek prided himself on keeping things to himself, but he’d never been so worried in all his life.

“The teacher…” Spencer said quietly. He turned further into Derek, wanting to keep his assumptions between them, “I’ve suspected you were dating someone for a while now. It’s the teacher in the classroom, isn’t it?”

Derek just shook his head in agreement, quickly turning his head back to stare out the window.

“What can you tell us?” Hotch asked the officer as they walked into the school.

The officer replied, “Nothing else has happened. The 14 other people he shot are in the hospital. All are going to make it, but he still won’t let anyone out of the classroom. The teacher has been keeping him as calm as possible.”

Derek knew for a fact that Y/N wouldn’t let anything happen to the kids if there was something she could do about it. He wanted to start negotiations yesterday.

“Hotch,” he said, turning to his boss, mentor and friend, “Let me have a crack at this kid, I think I can get through to him.”

“I think Spencer should go in,” he said, turning toward the younger agent. He looked back at Derek, “Your build is similar to his father’s and the kids that have bullied him his entire life, I think having you in there would set him off.”

Derek desperately wanted to be the one in there. If anything happened, he might be able to get Y/N out safely. Hotch continued, “Spencer is built like him. He won’t be threatening to him.”

Derek started to open his mouth, trying to make his case, but Hotch had made his decision. He looked desperate as Hotch walked away to confer with the other officers on the scene.

“Morgan,” Spencer said, placing his hand on his friend’s shoulder, “Trust me. I’ll get her out of there.”

It was out of his hands. If there was anyone he trusted besides Y/N, it was Spencer. “Please get her out, kid.”

“Jaxson,” Spencer said from outside the door. “My name is Spencer Reid, I’m with the FBI. Can I please come in? It’s only me. No gun.” He pulled his gun from his belt and handed it to Hotch, who reluctantly took it from him. He didn’t like it, but he knew it was the right thing to do.

Slowly, the door to the classroom opened and Spencer walked in, the gun nearly pushed into his chest. Derek stood outside of the door, trying as best he could to hear what was going on. “Jaxson, I know what’s happened to you here. I know what your life is like at home,” he started, taking note of the number of students in the classroom and the condition of Morgan’s girlfriend. She looked shaken, but she was successfully masking her fear.

“You know nothing about me?” he screamed, pointing the gun at Spencer, who had learned to barely flinch at the sight of a gun.

“I do, Jaxson,” he continued. “Your mother died when you were four. Your father has been abusing you pretty much ever since and anytime you were bullied and beaten up here, the principal or your teachers just wanted you to shake hands and let it go. When it comes to your school life, I’ve been you.” Spencer had recounted his days at school to so many at this point in his career, it was almost like reading a script. However, he always did his best to sound genuine.

Jaxson started shaking in anger, walking backward so that he was dangerously close to Y/N. Most people would be crying or screaming in terror, but she turned to him. “Jaxson, I’m here to listen to you. I’ll stay here,” she started. Derek’s heart dropped into his throat. He knew she’d do that. She was selfless beyond measure. “But let some of the students go, as a sign of good faith. The longer we are the only ones in here, the longer we’ll be here to listen to you.”

He shook his head, staring at the 12 students that had been standing behind Spencer. “They can go,” he said, pointing the gun at Y/N’s back. “The rest of them stay and so do you and you,” he continued, pointing at Spencer and Y/N. Quickly, the 12 students rushed out of the classroom. In their hurried state, the door had swung open enough for Derek to catch a glimpse of the love of his life - standing, tall, proud and calm with a gun against her back.

“Please, kid,” he said out loud before he realized what he’d said.

“Please what?” JJ asked. She looked quickly between him and the door, making the connection. “Morgan, why didn’t you say anything?”

“We were going to,” he said to JJ, Rossi and Hotch. “We’ve been dating for a year. We just didn’t want to say anything yet. Didn’t really expect this.”

Seconds later, they heard Spencer start to speak again on the other side of the wall. “Jaxson, I promise you, if you give me the gun, I will walk out with you. You can use me as a shield. Your father will never lay a hand on you again for as long as you live and I will personally tell the authorities that you cooperated.” He spoke as calmly as he could, watching as the boy’s tense stance loosen just a bit. “There has been so much sadness and death around you already. Don’t let this be the last thing you do. You’re worth more than that.”

Jaxson began to cry, allowing the gun to fall limply in his hand. Spencer motioned for Y/N to remain still as he slowly approached the boy, resting his hand on the gun. Once he had it, he motioned for the kids behind him to get out of the classroom.

“Jaxson,” Y/N said, placing her hand on his arm. “Agent Reid and I are both going to walk out with you, okay? He’ll be in front and I’ll be behind you.” He continued to cry as Spencer placed the handcuffs around his wrists.

“You did the right thing, Jaxson,” he soothed. “No one will be able to hurt you again.”

As they walked out of the door, Spencer handed the gun to the authorities - the officer in charge taking Jaxson into custody. Y/N looked around in the chaos, finally catching Derek’s eye. Not caring who saw anymore, she ran into his arms sobbing.

“Thank god,” he said, closing his eyes. When he opened them, he saw Spencer staring back at him. “Thank you,” he mouthed, gripping his girlfriend tighter than ever. He owed Spencer his life.

“You’re welcome,” he mouthed back.

“Well, that was enough excitement for one day,” Y/N said, hugging Derek after they’d walked into the apartment.

Derek tilted your chin upward to met his mouth, which gentle brushed up against yours. “I was so worried about you,” he said, running his hands through your hair. “I was dying on the other side of the door praying you’d be okay.”

“Well, Spencer did an amazing job - and now we’ve finally met,” Y/N laughed, burying her head in his chest.

Not the way I wanted that to happen,” he exclaimed, a smile coming to his face. If she managed to keep a happy outlook despite what had happened, he would do the same. He looked down at her once more, bringing her lips to his for a tentative yet passionate kiss. “So are you up for a little more excitement?” he asked, a mischievous look in his eye.

She jumped up into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist. “That kind of excitement I’m definitely into.”

“How can you not like milkshakes?”

“They’re empty vessels of sugar.”

“Excuse you, they are delicious!”

“Coming from the guy whose diet consists of Fanta and squeezable cheese.”

“Are you calling me fat?”

Derek just shrugs, and oh, fuck him, he deserves the french fry Stiles throws at his face across the booth.

It’s not often the whole pack hangs out together, let alone gets dinner at skeezy diners outside of town. But it’s spring break after their first year separating from college, and Scott is a stickler for tradition, if anything. Or, friendship.

Either way, that’s how Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Allison, Kira, Malia, Jackson, Derek, and Liam find themselves squished into a round booth in the back of Granny’s Closet.

“You’re like a twig, Stiles, how could he be calling you fat?” Kira retorts, taking a sip of her water.

“He just shrugged!” Stiles exclaims brashly, and then glares at Derek. “You think just because you’re all buff and muscular and eat raw bunnies that anyone else is a disgrace.”

Derek rolls his eyes. “I never said that.”

“Yeah, well, you said it with your eyebrows.” Stiles slumps in his seat.

Derek x Reader

Requested by Anon

“Derek!” You called out and skipped into his loft. “Derek, puppy!” You sang and flopped onto his bed.

“I’ll be a second.” Derek yelled from somewhere, sounding furious and you wondered if Erica had cut up on of his shirts again.

“But I’m bored and the internet people cut off my Wi-Fi and you don’t have any… come on puppy play with me.” You wailed playfully and a chuckle from across the room made you jump up.

“I’m not a puppy but I could play with you.” The man drawled and you stared wide eyed, glancing around for Derek.

“Sorry dude I’m kind of a puppy snob, I like mine tall buffed out and brooding… dark haired kind of scruffy beard and totally has the Stilinski shut up or I’m a chomp on you look, down.” You gave the man a lopsided smile and tried to shuffled towards the door but your back pressed against something hard and warm.

“You called for me?” He grumbled as you looked up at him, having to arch your back to do so.

“I call you by name but you don’t answer, give a glowing physical description and you pop up faster than the devil.” You frowned and he glanced at the man across the room.

“Peter why’re you still here?” Derek huffed. “He crashed his car when he was trying to run someone over.”

“So, is he like evil or something?” You asked carefully.

“Oh, he is a terrible human being and should not be trusted but as a werewolf…” Derek trailed off and moved you towards the door. “He’s respectable, but, ya’ know, a little bit dodgy.”

You glanced at Peter who waved at you from across the penthouse then up at Derek who wanted you to get away from Peter as fast as you could “Do you think he crashed the car on purpose?" You whispered.

“He was on the sixth floor of a mall so unless he’s a really bad driver…” Derek sighed and you turned back now utterly curious.

Imagine being friends with the pack and Peter is flirting with you one day and you can’t help but giggle at his efforts and when someone asks you why you’re okay with it you say he reminds you of your old friend Balthazar and mistakingly say his full name, causing said angel to appear in the room, leaving you to explain the sudden appearance.

——— Request for anon ———

“Why do you put up with that?” Lydia asks, pursing her lips in distaste as Peter gets called over by Derek, forcing him from where he’d been avidly flirting with you.

“He reminds me of someone,” you chuckle, getting a curious look from your friend that has you elaborating before you thought the better of it. “My old friend, Balthazar.”

There’s a flutter of wings before you can realize you’d even said the angel’s whole name, and suddenly he’s standing before you with that familiar smirk, “To what do I owe the pleasure of your call?”

“What the hell?” Stiles jumps from where he’d been standing, startled by the sudden appearance more than the rest of the pack had been, however the others were all looking on with wide eyes.

Derek takes a step forward with a defensive growl before you even have a chance to call them all off, “Who are you?”

“Woah, woah, guys,” you plant yourself between your friends. “Sorry, let me explain!”
