How to make kimbap at home! There are a lot of different types of kimbap so you can really put any veggies or meat that you want and make your own style, we just did the most basic version.
seaweed, rice, carrot, cucumber, spinach, pickled radish, egg, fish cake, crab stick, ham, rice, sesame oil, sesame seeds, salt
1: Make some rice! Ours wasn’t too sticky but the stickier the better for rolling~
2: Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on how much you need/want) and add a pinch of salt and cook like a pancake over medium-low heat and then slice into strips. (All of your ingredients should be cut into strips for kimbap~)
3: Wash, peel, and slice your carrot, cucumber and any other ingredient that needs to be cut.
4: Cook all of your kimbap ingredients! The carrot, ham, crab stick, and fish cake just need to be cooked for a few minutes in a hot pan. For the carrots add a pinch of salt as you fry them
5: Spinach needs to be blanched in boiling water for just a minute or two and then taken out and rinsed in cold water to stop the cooking. Squeeze out excess water or they’ll be too wet. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and a small amount of sesame oil and mix.
6: When rice is done cooking add salt, sesame seeds, and sesame oil to taste and mix well.
7: Take your seaweed and cover in a thin layer of rice mixture, leaving a small space at the end.
Now you’re ready to add everything and roll it up! The order doesn’t matter, just pile everything you want in whatever order you want~ As you roll, try to tuck all the ingredients in so they don’t spill out. It takes some practice so don’t worry if you don’t get it on your first try, the bamboo mat helps but you can also do it by hand.
Lightly brush the outside of your roll with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Brush your knife with sesame oil as well to help it slice through your kimbap cleanly~
There’s a lot of steps but you can make so many different types and flavors it’s really fun to try if you have the chance!
Things the world needs to stop hating about the signs
your straightforward, sometimes aggressive approach to things. you are energetic and know your self-worth, so fuckin what ????? those are good qualities if u ask me
how stubborn you are. you are stubborn for all of the right reasons baby cakes—sticking up for your beliefs es muy bueno!!!¡¡
i have a lot to say about this one whew.....i don't care who says you're a two-faced, lying bitch—YOURE ALL SMART AS FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!! you're just having fun with life ain't nothin wrong with that. As for being two-faced, you just have a never-ending stream of different thoughts, and you are very adaptable
apparently you are couch potato cry babies, but no. you probably feel most comfortable at home and that is perfectly okay. And just because you aren't afraid of letting out your emotions, doesn't make you a cry baby. CRYING IS HEALTHY WHEN UR SAD GOD DAMMIT
snobby, stuck up, self-absorbed, etc.. God, you are none of those things. You are creative and talented and showing that off is nothing to be ashamed of. A lot of your qualities stem from insecurity; you feel the need to overcompensate in areas you feel you are weak in, so you may come off as stuck-up, but NO, u are not.
over-critical prudes that are always depressing and boring. WRONG. Your brains are wired to perfect things, so that is what you try to do. If you fail, you may become sad and come off as depressed, but you are just very disciplined. That ain't bad, U are STRONG
ditzy, self-absorbed people who are addicted to anything beautiful, regardless of what lies underneath the surface. WRONG AGAIN. You do have an eye for aesthetics and beauty plays a large role in your life, but you are very intellectual and selfless. You do your best to make sure everything and everyone involved in a situation is at ease.
damn u guys got some real ass hate ..... people always say you are the truly evil people in the world, all this darkness and sadness deep inside of you. There is darkness in you, just as there is in the rest of us, but your darkness can be accentuated by the fact that you experience emotions to the extreme. You are passionate in everything that you do, and very determined. Good things!!!!!
You are brutally honest, rude, you speak out of turn, all that crap. Yes you usually are very truthful, but that is because you don't see a reason to lie in life—lying only causes problems. When you see somebody beating around the bush about a topic, you are quick to get to the point. Being able to see the truth through all of the bulllllshitttt is a very lucky trait.
Often you are regarded as the spawn of satan (symbolized by the seaGOAT), emotionless, rude, careless, etc.. It is hard for you to be emotional because you may feel like you are letting your precious guard down, that's just the way your mind works. underneath a stone cold surface is a melting pot of emotions, and you are not trying to be rude, you just call it how you see it. You are strong and determined and will get where you want to be in life with those qualities
Weird one who never talks and seems to always be rebelling on purpose. You have so much in your head, you have seen all there is to see, imagined every possible situation, and you are left with yourself to deal with it all. Your mind naturally is geared towards change, and you are quite inventive.
over-emotional, confused babies. No! You are beautiful, delicate creatures with cascading emotions and thoughts. you are very intuitive, but sometimes your thoughts and feelings can overwhelm you. Regardless, ur cutie patooties: creative, thoughtful, and selfless. Go master that occult stuff all the books about astrology r telling u to
This is the quintessential Korean street snack made from chewy rice cake cooked in a broth of fermented chilli paste, spring onion, sugar and some recipes include anchovies. honestly that ask made me think of like, lud deciding one fathers day to actually try and tell gil, you know, thanks for raising me you did your best etc. and he probably writes it down and practices it in front of a mirror because lud. but when lud goes to give it to gil he runs into gil’s automatic response to emotionally intense situations, which is “laugh hysterically and run away” (his other response is “do aggressive pushups until the emotions are gone”). lud kind of expected this but also he worked really hard on the speech and he wants gil to listen so it ends up like, lud chasing gil around the house yelling AND YOU MADE A LOT OF SACRIFICES FOR ME AND I APPRECIATE IT AND YOU DID YOUR BEST EVEN THOUGH—GILBERT DON’T LOCK YOURSELF IN THE BASEMENT I’M TRYING TO BE NICE
Lunch: homemade chicken and broccoli with brown “fried” rice, immune booster juice
Snack: organic peanut butter on a wheat rice cake, plain cheerios, carrot sticks
Dinner: chicken club on spinach wrap
I haven’t been feeling great today (I think a cold is coming on.) By dinner time I was ready for bed, so I’m skipping my workout today. It was supposed to be leg day but I’m going to incorporate it with my back workouts tomorrow as long as I’m feeling up to it. I hope this cold doesn’t stick around because I don’t have time for it!!!
