Oh boy, I am eating my own words after saying that knitting this sweater was going to be fast. I am making progress, I just haven’t really had the time to sit down and knit, and when I did have time I was working on my sisters socks. Now those are done, and I can focus on this sweater. Maybe I can finish the back in the next week. That would be amazing.
I did finally get a chance to post my Year 2 album to Facebook. It is sort of a photo journal looking back on my second year in Okinawa. I would love to refine it some day and post it to VSCO or some other platform. We will see.
And that’s the back of a sweater, finished!
Giving myself a high five for being so awesome 😂
Fingers crossed I make it through the front of the sweater with out any nightmares.
(Btw the pattern is Honeycomb Aran by Yarnspirations, with cables from various sources)
Keeping it real by finishing the front of my sweater. Now on to the sleeves… I feel like it’s going to take much, much longer. But here is to knitting furiously so I can start a new project, and maybe finish a current one!
I took a little time off of posting because I was busy and tired, and not really working on anything exciting.
As you can see, my current projects haven’t really changed. The only new thing is my urgent need to start a baby project. I have a new niece being born at the end of the month, so I have to start something. The plan is to make it a few sizes bigger, so when I finally finish it and mail it, it will fit her perfectly.
Other than that I’m just whacking away at that sweater… the sleeves might be the death of me, or the sweater. They make for some sloooow knitting.
