can you please write for Kagami, Midorima, Takao, and Murasakibara finding out their s/o cuts themself on their thighs? (just for the reason that it's easier to hide)
I’m not sure if cutting is a triggering topic for people, but if it is, here is your warning.
Kagami: Of course there is worry coursing through him when he sees the cuts on your legs; Kagami is smart enough to tell the difference between accidental injuries and deliberate scars. He approaches the topic slowly, almost reluctantly, with you because he wants to know the hows and whys, but the moment you say so he’s also willing to back off from the subject.
Midorima: A lecture about getting help wasn’t what you wanted in the moment and Midorima could tell that; it’s why he kept his mouth shut even as his eyes traveled back to the scars littering your thighs. You often found him staring at them, almost helpless, as he wonders to himself what more he could do to make your life a little easier.
Takao: He hadn’t meant to squeeze your thigh so hard
especially since it was in a playful nature
so when he sees you flinch because of the cuts on your legs, it makes Takao feel even worse. He spends a few moments kissing each scar, old and new, but never asks what they were for or why they had happened. He figures you’ll tell him with time.
Murasakibara: The first time he sees them, Murasakibara makes an effort not to comment on your cuts and scars for fear that it would have the opposite effect he wanted; he didn’t want you to close up about it. Instead, you find that he tends to gently graze the top of your thighs a lot more now, almost like he’s waiting for you to come out about your habits first.
can you do a poly midotaka x reader where they find out that the reader is bulimic if you're comfortable writing that? ty ❤️
Just a warning for people who might find this topic uncomfortable, this topic can be a heavy one so feel free to skip reading this if you want to <3 -Neon
His hand hesitated centimeters from the door, closed in a fist and ready to knock, but paralyzed. He could hear her inside
she was probably sitting on the floor
gagging and retching into the toilet. The noise was loud and he could tell that she was attempting to empty everything from her stomach. Every so often he’d hear a soft gasp of air, as if she’d been deprived of oxygen for far too long, but it’d only last a second before the retching started up again.
“What are you doing?”
Takao swung around to meet eyes with Midorima. The taller male was glaring, wondering why the point guard was blocking the walkway and holding his hand up to the bathroom door like an idiot. It was when he heard the last few sounds of vomiting did he realize.
“Move,” Midorima ordered, shoving Takao to the side and, without so much as a single knock, forced the bathroom door open.
“Excuse me,” she grumbled in surprise, a slight dribble of water leaving her lips. She’d finished and washed away as much evidence as she could, toilet already flushed as she bent over the sink now. “I’m in here.”
Midorima was careful, despite his haste, when he grabbed her face to get a good look. She was pale, more so than before, and looked completely ill.
“You need to stop this.” His voice was a whisper, no longer the strong and demanding tone he’d used on Takao just moments before. It was weak. Fragile.
“I’m fine,” she argued, pushing past him and making her way toward the door. “It’s not like I’m doing anything really bad.”
The delusion that she was helping herself was deep set. Both males could see that. As she exited the bathroom, brushing past Takao altogether without a glance, he reached out a hand to gently grab at her fingers. It was enough to make her pause; she’d never seen him act this vulnerable.
“____,” he said, unsure what else to utter other than her name. “Please.”
It took her a long while
a long while of staring at her own hands, shaking and weak and absolutely paper thin and pale
before she could face him. The thought that, maybe she really was the one in the wrong, only wriggling the smallest bit in the back of her mind. This was still what she wanted, this was still what she felt she had to do.
But it was hurting them.
“I don’t know how to stop,” she finally confessed, her voice a ghostly whisper. “I don’t know if I can.”
And as Takao pulled her into one of the tightest hugs she could ever imagine, one she was sure could break bones if he really wanted, she heard Midorima speak with a clear voice and absolute resolve, “Then we’ll help you.”
Hiii there!!!(i'm the same anon as the aomine one hehehehe) i was wondering if i could request a Shintarou scenario where he introduces his girlfriend to the team(? Wiii (I totally love your blog and your writing so good luck! I support you!)
AN: Awww this is cuuuteeee although it’s probably going to be short ! ; ~ ; damn I’m sorry for the late reply LOL.
“Stop fidgeting,” Midorima said, squeezing your shoulder reassuringly. You both stood outside of his team’s favorite okonomiyaki shop waiting to go inside. It was your first time meeting his team ever since you started dating about a month ago, and in sum, you were a nervous wreck.
“I can’t help it! What if they don’t like me?” You asked, crinkling the hem of your new blouse.
“Nonsense. Why would they?”
“What if they think I’m not, you know…. pretty enough for you?”
Midorima turned you around to face him directly. He was much taller than you, so he hovered over you quite easily. Your eyes widened as he leaned in closer to your face, unsure what he was going to do next.
Raising his taped hand, he gently poked your forehead.
“Stop thinking things like that.” Sure, it wasn’t the most comforting words in the world, but as he tucked your loose hair behind your ear, you suddenly felt the weight lift off of your shoulders. You blushed brightly as you kissed his cheek as a thank you.
“Ok ~ Let’s head in!”
“Was that all I needed to do to get you excited?”
“Yes, now come on! I’m hungry!”
You grabbed his hand and lead him into the restaurant. It was an intimate restaurant and a tight squeeze with a team of basketball players in the middle. You immediately recognized Takao, your boyfriend’s confidant, as he flipped the okonomiyaki in the air. He gazed up and waved at you frantically.
“Shin-chan!! _____-chan!! Welcome!”
“Quit yelling!” a guy with spikey brown hair hissed.
You looked up to see Midorima rub the bridge of his nose annoyingly. He led you to the table and the team eyed you curiously.
“Don’t look so ashamed of us, Midorima!” The long haired blond said, pointing his chopsticks at Midorima. “So this is the famous _____-chan, eh?”
“Yes. _____, this is Kiyoshi-senpai.”
You bowed. “H-hello!”
“Isn’t she cute! Hey, can she be our manager?” Takao’s eyes sparkled.
“Shut up, Takao,” the shorter blond responded.
“So how do you deal with Midorima? What’s your secret?” The first brunette asked.
“Otsubo-senpai, please!” Midorima blushed.
“I bet she wears the pants in the relationship.” The second one asked.
“Relaaaax ~!” Takao scooted over on the bench and patted the seat gentle. “Come come! I’ve warmed the seat up for the both of you!”
The whole night, you smiled at the way Midorima interacted with his team. Even as his girlfriend, you hadn’t yet met the very true Midorima because he was still a little nervous around you. But tonight, you were able to experience his true self in whole, and it warmed your heart. That night, you ate and talked for hours on end until the restaurant finally closed.
“Bye, Shin-chan! _____-chan!” Takao called as you and the team parted ways.
“They’re a charming team,” you commented, taking a hold of Midorima’s hand.
“They’re a handful.”
“And you’re not?” You joked.
“N-Not like them!”
“Oh, please.” You laughed. “Well thank you for introducing me to your team. I thought I’d never meet them!”
“It’s not my fault your activities interfere with mine,” he pouted slightly. “Of course I would let you all meet one day.”
“Really? Why’s that?”
He cleared his throat and looked away from you out of embarrassment. His cheeks flushed pink once more, something you noticed he does often around you, and you thought it was the cutest thing.
“Well ~?” you ushered.
“Because you both mean a lot to me. It wouldn’t feel right if you never met.”
Your eyes sparkled admiringly as you lunged yourself forward to plant kisses all over his face.
“W-What are you doing!?”
“You’re so cute!”
“Quit it, your neighbors are staring!”
“Let them stare, Shintaro!”
You gave him one last kiss on the lips before you pulled yourself away. He held onto your fingertips as you started to walk away, not wanting to let you go.
“I’ll see you tomorrow for dinner?” you asked. “Can we get yakisoba?”
Midorima’s lips twitched at your child-like nature. “Anything for you.”
