“Clint? Why is there a cat in our living room?” You had just walked in from work, and you didn’t expect to see a purring fluff of orange sitting on your couch. There was no response from your husband of four months, so you did what any sane person would do; you went over and pet the little orange cat.
“Aha! I knew you would like Aslan!” Clint walked over to where you sat. “I found him on the side of the road. Isn’t he a sweetheart?” He picked Aslan up and kissed him on the forehead. “We can keep him, right?” You hesitated, looking at your husband and the cat together.
“He seems like he is a good cat… I guess so.” Clint grinned, placing the cat down, and pulled you into a kiss.
“Thank you so much! I’ll take care of Aslan, You won’t have to do a thing.” You laughed at Clint’s promise.
“We can take care of him together. As a family.” You both were smiling happily. A new addition to the family was always a great thing whether it’s a cat or a child.
