by the time i wake up

So, there’s this relatively new member of our team who’s a gossip fanatic, she’s always around chatting everyone up and then reporting the juicest news and hot details she’s given, which is a demeanour our main client is pretty bothered by, therefore she always makes sure to shut up and behave around them.

Two coworkers of mine, me, the Big Boss and our client were arranging and planning a few things, when she burst into the room, not noticing the BB and the Client, who were at that moment having coffe behind the door and she went “ooooh, you know what they say about Louis Tomlinson not actually being the father of his child? Looks like it’s true after all, even though it’s been ages!”

We didn’t have time to gesture to her, that my client appeared from behind the door all frowny and straight faced “yeah, the same ages it took you to dig this oh-so-shocking information up, with that quick, sharp rate of yours you’ll have to start working on the next campaign tomorrow morning if I want it out before 2036″.

Mark told us to tweet any pictures of our pets watching the stream with us, so this is what I sent out, and it gives you guys a little bit of insight, I think. While I am overwhelmed with worries about my life situation and finances, this is the thing that has emotionally devastated me the most- because everything else I knew I could handle with the best boy in the world on my side. I thought we were going to have so much more time with him. But life has other plans, sometimes, and I don’t have much longer with my best friend.

I have a happy little Mark-related story for you, though. Max never had much of a concept of technology. You know when you see those dogs watching TV and jumping around when a dog shows up, or getting excited to see their owner on Skype or something? Yeeeeeah, that was never Max. If you were on the other end of the phone and called his name, even while the phone was up to his ear, he’d run off and search the house for you. A sweet gesture, but not exactly the intended effect. Besides that, he’d just ignore any sort of technology.

Mark was a little different for Max. He still didn’t get it, of course, but he saw the effects. When I was suffering through a particularly rough part of my depression, I didn’t get out of bed much. This concerned Max, and if I wasn’t up by a certain time, he’d come in my room and push his cold nose on my face until I got up. I’m not kidding, by the way- I have an entire album on my phone, just of photos of him coming to wake me up.

Anyway, I made a rule for myself that I could only watch Youtube on days when I had gotten out of bed or accomplished something. It was a way to keep me from spending all day moping around. Once the day was “over”, if it had been a successful day, I would curl up under my blankets and watch Mark’s 2 uploads from that day. I generally didn’t wear headphones.

All this babbling to say, Max came to associate Markiplier’s voice with me feeling good, so when he heard it, he would relax. Sometimes we’d snuggle up together, sometimes he’d wander off to check on the rest of the family, but the point is that he knew Mark’s voice meant, “everything is okay”.

Things have changed over the past few years. I’m doing better, and Max’s time is almost up. He’s gone blind, and the fact that he doesn’t know where anything is gives him anxiety and, occasionally, panic attacks. But after I guide him up the stairs to rest next to me, I’ll sometimes take the headphones out of my computer and let the sound play out loud.

Sometimes, his breathing will slow, and his tail will thump against the ground a little.

Sometimes, he sticks his tongue out, letting it fall to the side in contentment.

And sometimes. he and I will fall asleep together like old times, his head nudging my computer out of my lap in order to scoot closer.

I don’t know how many of these times we have left, but I cherish every single one.

Thank you, Mark, from Max and I.

Hey y’all, it’s been a long time ! Sorry for the hiatus, I’ve been busy with school and with this lil guy up here ^^^ Say hi to my new roommate. He doesn’t help me drawing at all and loves to wake me up at 4 am to play with my feet.

If I didn’t paint anything at least I started filling a sketchbook and it’s honestly so satisfying to have all my doodles in a single tiny notebook, you can’t even imagine.

10 Questions

This is from a while back now… Thank you for the tag, @thevikingwoman!

Rules: Tag 10 (or not 10) followers you want to get to know better.

Birthday: June 24

● Gender: Female.

● Relationship status: I will have been with my partner for three years this June.

● Favourite color: Turquoise and teal. I love shades of blue/green, especially if they’re bright.

● Pets: None. We want a cat, but our place won’t allow them. :(

● Wake up time: 7:30am on work days, 9:30am on work Sundays, noon or 1pm on off days.

● Love or lust?: Love. I’m asexual so lust isn’t something I experience. It’s just not there.

● Favourite food: SUSHI. (Aaaand now I’m craving it).

● Met a celebrity?: Not really. No one famous on a super high level. But I’ve met interesting people who work in the arts industry, who are famous in certain circles. I met Joshua Bell (classical violinist) at a concert in Chicago when I was 16. I met and hung out with Sharon Pollock (Canadian playwright, writer of Blood Relations, which is about Lizzie Borden) and just about died because I love her. I worked with Sifiso Mazibuko (Marvin Gaye in Motown: the Musical, currently on West End) last summer when I was in London. I’ve met Tony Alcantar, the accent coach for Fargo, and the director of one of my plays a couple years ago was an actor in Hell on Wheels.

● Last song listened to: The soundtrack for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

● First kiss: In a word, awful. I was 21 and my friends were nagging me about the fact that I had never had a boyfriend and had never been kissed. It was beyond their comprehension. They pressured me into thinking that I liked this one particular guy (turned out I wasn’t attracted to him at all). I got drunk at a friend’s birthday party we were attending and ended up kissing him in front of our friends, which just led to a whole bunch of complications and drama in a project we were both working on.

And the drama almost ruined that project.

Moral of the story: no matter how old you are, don’t let your peer group harass you into kissing someone just because they think you’re immature and have no life experience if you haven’t done certain things by a certain age.

● Tall or short: Hobbit-sized.

Tagging: I have some new followers, so I’m giving a shout-out to you guys (along with a shout-out to some oldies ;) ). Imagine Sam realising he can have both you and hunting

You stretched out your limbs, relishing in the warmth of your blankets as you turned in your bed. Your body stiffened when you collided with another but you smiled when you saw who it was. “When did you get here?”

“Early this morning, let my self in.” He grinning down at you, a hand running through your hair. “Hope you don’t mind.”

“Of course not, like I said before; this is your home now too.” You lazily kissed at his cheek, enjoying the way his smile grew wider at your words.

“I’ve missed waking up to you.” He confessed, arms tightening around your waist.

“Me too.” You snuggled in closer to his chest and were suddenly reminded of a time Sam had admitted that he was afraid his way of life would eventually ruin your relationship. “And to think you said this wouldn’t work.”

“You aren’t going to let that go are you?” He chuckled lightly, shoulders raising up and down.

“Just admit you were wrong and I’ll never speak of it again.” You smirked, eyes looking at him through thick lashes.

“Fine I was wrong.” He held his hands up in a sign of a defeat, nose nuzzling into your hair as he inhaled the scent of your shampoo.

You playfully jabbed at his side as you smiled contently. “Now that’s something I could hear everyday.”

yuri's behaviour in the show is extremely unrealistic. i'm 14 and nobody my age acts like that. yes, there are quite a lot of angsty teenagers, but his behaviour is over the top. he's an asshole and most fans still praise him for everything he does because he's a "smol bean uwu". like, no, wake up, he's an asshole and you should't praise him for being mean to everyone. sorry for ranting to you, i just felt frustrated

dw man i agree with u. like just bc he’s 15 doesn’t mean he can’t be an asshole ppl need to stop using the ‘he’s only young’ excuse when they defend him bc it doesn’t matter what age u are u shouldn’t be acting like a total ass all the time
