I have one very important plea to the Yuri on Ice fandom post-ep 7:
Please buy the DVDs/BDs or merchandise from the show, please support this anime in any way you can.
Because the anime industry is so small that 5,000 or 10,000 more copies sold may make a huge difference. We’re all rejoicing over Victor and Yuuri and their healthy romance and how Japan will never produce a better (or an equally good) gay couple. But they can, if we the fans, show them that this is good, that it’s not risky that it won’t make them lose money then they will give us more. The moment they realize that what we want is healthy gay romance, not cheap fanservice or fetishy yaoi, then they will plunge right into it.
And the only way for us, the international community to show them that is to buy the official DVD/BDs and merchandise.
I beg you guys.
If this is what you want in anime and if you can contribute then please do.
Because this doesn’t have to be our first and last victory in terms of LGBT representation in anime. It can be the beginning of a new era. And it all depends on us.
No matter what happens in this finale, don't forget to be thankful to the creators for giving us this well crafted beautiful show and support it by buying official bd's/dvds and merchandise. We owe them that much.
Susan (Aka Kara) and Freeda from “Adventure Time Islands”! I LOVED learning more about Susan/Finn’s background and the state the humans currently live in. It was a bit of a tear jerker as well (I’ll have to do more doodles…maybe one of Finn’s Mom). I’m glad Susan was able to reconnect with an old friend - who I honestly ship - and got a happy ending.
All in all, I’ll be watching this again and maybe even buy the DVD for it.
S4 was such a disaster and the behaviour of the BBC and the creators and everyone involved was just so awful that I officially lost interest in any Sherlock official content. I won’t buy official merch or dvds because I don’t want these people to get my money. I couldn’t care less about s5, Sherlock is dead to me.
I still love the fandom, I love the creativity, I love the fics and the art. We can have fun on our own and produce things that are billion times better than what we got. So I’m not leaving the fandom, I’m just divorcing myself from the source material. We have surpassed it tenfold anyway.
Please support Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions by ACTUALLY buying it on DVD/Blu-Ray. If you can of course.
I know the English fan sub is already out, but please remember 4K Media is also doing an official translation too. Please, please, please show them that fans are also supporting official releases. Fan subs are helpful, but in the end nothing will trump buying official releases and merchandise.
Sadly, everything good must come to end sooner or later.
The cast has now had their last performance of Hetalia The Great World today in Osaka.
They’re a bit sad about the fun journey being over and that they have to seperate again, but also happy about the time they’ve had together and pleased with how good the musical went.
^ Some fan letters for Keisuke (Japan)
The actors are thankful for all the support they’ve recieved from the fans and Hidekaz and hope the fans had equally fun as they did.
^ Japan doesn’t really want to let go though
The DVD for the musical will be released the 22nd of February next year (2017) and wil cost almost 9000 yen (About 80 USD). But since DVDs have region codes on them, only the European countries will be able to buy this DVD when it comes out. The others will have to watch it on the internet. Hopefully, America or Malaysia will do something about this.
^ Takeshi (Spain) didn’t want the fans to be sad now when the musical has ended, so he took a selfie of a smiling Spain to cheer everyone up.
Lastly; You can still send ‘fan posts’ on Twitter if you want.
Seeing that they have fans from all over the world would definitely put a smile on their faces and might encourage them to make a third musical.
