buxom lipgloss

Here’s a list of my favorite make up products by category! These are all tried and true after years of experimentation 💋

- Moisturizer: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. Get the gel instead of the lotion if you have oily skin

- Primer: Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm for Men. Don’t question, just try it

- Foundation: Too Faced Born This Way or Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24Hr. Honestly can’t choose between them. Apply both with a damp beauty blender

- Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape. If you’re on a budget, Maybelliene Fit Me is actually worth while

- Cream contour: Clinique Chubby Sticks. Blend out beautifully

- Powder (extra coverage): MAC’s Mineralized Skin Finish Natural

- Powder (no coverage/for baking): Laura Mercier’s Translucent Setting Powder. NOT the secret brightener be careful

- Bronzer: Buxom’s Hot Escapes Bronzers if you want shimmer and Benefit’s Hoola if you don’t

- Contour: NARS Contour Duos. Color to get depends on your skin tone!

- Blush: NARS Blushes cannot be beat. Orgasm is an all time classic and looks amazing on everyone. I also LOVE the Lorac Unzipped Cheek Palette but it’s gone so you’d have to find it on eBay or something

- Highlight: Best highlight of all time is Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop

- Setting Spray: Urban Decay All Nighter

- Eyeshadow primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion

- Eyeshadow: best brand for eyeshadow IMO is Anastasia Beverly Hills or Lorac. Great first palette is the Lorac pro

- Eyeliner: Stila Liquid Eyeliner NO DEBATE THE END

- Mascara: Maybelliene Clump Crusher (get water resistant to hold your curl)

- Eyelash curler: best eyelash curler of all time is from Shu Uemura which they stopped selling at Sephora but you can order it online

- Fake eyelashes: Absolutely love the Kiss brand’s Blooming line because they’re multilayered and have such a thin band and so many different styles

- Filling in: Anastasia Brow Wiz no debate

- Setting: Anastasia Brow Gel and if you’re really gonna rub them off, NYX waterproofing gel on top of that

- Maintenance: Tweezerman. Spend the money. No other tweezers are worth your time

- Balm: only chapstick I truly believe works (and doesn’t make them worse in the long run) is Burts Bees

- Lipliner: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On

- Lipstick: Too Faced’s La Crème line and Melted line

- Lipgloss: BUXOM!!!!! They are so unreal amazing perfect everything I’ve ever wanted. Also love the Urban Decay Naked glosses

Hope this helps anyone who’s looking for some new bomb ass make up products that won’t waste your time or your $$$!

So recently friends of mine have been asking how I get so much from ULTA, so rather than repeating my same list of things I do everytime to each of them, here’s a handy dandy masterpost of everything I do B)

continuing on.

**step one. scope the place.**

I prefer to do this a week or so before I come to the store. If you come the exact day before and an employee recognizes you from the day before, that could be a bit sus. Take note of how the SAs act. Are they extremely friendly? Do they bombard you with questions once you enter? Or are they more relaxed, doing nothing much in their section. Scope out the cameras in the store. I lie to do this by pretending to drink from a offee cup, taking a sip and looking u at the ceiling for cameas. Go to any areas you may believe could be blindspots, popular areas I’ve noticed from reading here are the drugstore section and low end hair care isle. When at these ‘blindspots,’ chec in site for cameras. My rule of thumb is if you can see a camera, it can see you, so keep that in mind when scoping out the place.

**step two. Dressing the part.**

Have some form of makeup on, but try not to overdo it with anything over the top that’llcatch the SAs eyes. Try for a natural look, o a subtle smoky eye. Having some makeup on shows that you probably know wat you’re talking about, so it’s good to go in looking like that. Don’t dress in your lazy day clothes, but also don’t dress in your highest fashion. Wear something ashionable, but preferably more neutral colors. Try not to wear bold prints or anything eyecatching. For your purse, choosing something simple and medium sized is your best bet. Try getting something that looks small but can hold a lot. My purse for example is a neutral pink and looks like a smaller handbag, but can hol a multitude of palettes on the inside even though it doesn’t look like it,

**step three. doing the deed*

Here’s where things get fun. When first arriving to the store, if greeted smile and respond bac. Don’t be a dic, it ain’t cute and they’ll prob watch your more just to catch you if you do something.  I like to do the ‘cottonball trick’ which I read about somewhere here (someone please link me the creditor) Put those in the bag and try to put other ‘fake items’ in to take up space. Now it’s action time. Go to anywhere in the store you like or would like something. Before I go I like to make a checlist on my phone with the ulta app, this is just so I have a gameplan but it’s not necessary. Don’t get greedy. Get whatever you can stuff in your purse in under 20 minutes, because taking longer than that much time is probably gonna be hella sus. Aim for under 10 min if you don’t want to buy anything. Alright, no I’m assuming you got everything you needed. Cool, time for concealing. Go to your blindspot which you staked out the other day, and start concealing . Assume every customer around is LP or a snitch, so don’t stuff or anything with them aroun. Put shit in your bag as fast as you can and as quietly. REMOVING TAGS. Th only tags I’ve noticed are the sticker type, which you can easily peel off. It will make a noise, so try to do soin a timely manner or when noise is going on through the store. Put the sticckers on other items you may see in the blindspot. Items I’ve noticed tagged in stores are naked palettes and contour kits. Keep in mind it may be different with every store with what is tagged and what isn’t, so always double chec. Now’s m favorite part: ‘the speed round.’ I always bring a coffee cup to the ULTA I go to in order to do a trick I learned from here (again someone link the creditor pls). What you do is cut a slit in the the bottom of the cup and cover the sides with napkins, and then shove shit up there that you want. I usually do this is with NYX or buxom lipglosses and lipsticks, as it’s easy and a quick way to get extra oitems you want.

Npow that you have everything, get the fuck out. I you took over 20 minutes, buy cotton balls and maybe some cheep ulta brand shit. If you took under 10 minutes, just leave.

**step four. LP and avoiding getting arrested**

Assume every customer is lp. Be kind to all sa. Ulta has no chase policy. They can’t do much since they’re strict on staff harming customers, so use this to your advantage. The most they’ll do is write your license plate or call the police. Don’t show whatever’s in your bag to anyone unless they identify that they have warrant to do so. And ofc, if you ever feel even slightly nervous drop whatever you have and leave. Always trust your gut. Love y'all and stay safe, happy lifting! -clyde

I’m so excited to finally be doing my “what I got for christmas” post. These are all of the cosmetic type gifts that I got this year (I got a few other non-makeup related things as well).

1. I got the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette, I really like the first one and I’m so happy to finally have this one!

2. I got the Sephora + Pantone Universe Marsala palette, I’ve been obsessed with reddish toned and grey neutral toned colors (thanks to Lime Crime’s Venus palette) and the colors in this palette feed that obsession as well!

3. I got a lovely makeup bag filled with deluxe sized goodies from my amazing friend thepryncess . It came with a Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and a Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara (both of which are my favorites), a Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Magic, a Tarte lipgloss also in the shade Magic, a Buxom lipgloss in the shade White Russian, and a Hourglass lipstick in the shade Icon

4. I got all six of the NYX Simply Red lip creams in the shades Russian Roulette, Knock Out, Candy Apple, Maraschino, Seduction, and Leading Lady

5. My boyfriend went crazy and bought me 28 Colourpop Lippie Stix. The shades he got me are Feminist, Brink, Tipsy, Cake, Wifey, Punky, Rocket, Brunch, Chi Chi, Clique, Frenchie, Trixie, Bossy, Bichette, Ellarie, I <3 This, LBB, Flawless, Grind, Leather, Brills, Raw, Charm, Bunny, Wet, Pitch, Creature and Bull Chic

6. I got all 12 of the NYX Wicked Lippies in the shades Betrayal, Scandalous, Trickery, Wrath, Sinful, Stone Cold, Immortal, Mischievous, Risque, Power, Cold Hearted, and Envy

7. I got 12 Kat Von D Studded Kiss lipsticks, the shades I got are Poe, Lullabye, Thin Lizzy, Lovecraft, Gothica, Hexagram, Bauhau5, Coven (I had already bought this one but a backup doesn’t hurt :D ), Motorhead, Wolvesmouth, Slayer, and Wonderchilde

8. Lastly I got 2 Kat Von D Everlasting liquid lipsticks, the shades I got are Vampira and L.U.V

I am completely in love with every single thing I got this year and I honestly can’t wait to start using them in my daily makeup looks! I will definitely be doing reviews for you all on most of the things here once I’ve had the chance to really wear and test them out :D

anonymous asked:

what have been your favourite products for the past couple months? I'm interested in buying some new products

oooo current favorites:

mac pro longwear foundation (japan only has up to shade nc42 and that isn’t the right color for me its too light and yellow, but i use this just on my t zone because it controls oil really well! i like doing this when i go out)

maybelline fit me concealer (im in the shade 25 medium but this concealer is so good its soo lightweight its not FULL coverage but the finish and shade is perfect for the undereye)

makeup forever ultra hd stick foundation #177 (love this so much to contour my face it just makes me look chizzled and bronzed and flawless)

laura mercier matte radiance baked powder in bronze 04 (i love how un-orange this bronzer is and it’s also dark enough to show up on my skin! i use a huge fan brush to apply. i recommend this if you have medium to medium dark skin tone)

mac saddle eyeshadow (i love applying this all over the lid blended to my crease with a mac 217. its the perfect everyday warm brown shade that isnt too light or too dark and has the perfect warmth)

mac boybait cremesheen lipgloss (fave nude lipgloss right now i needed a replacement for my marc jacobs pretty thing lipgloss because i lost it lol and i use this basically everytime im wearing lipgloss)

buxom creamsicle lipgloss (if im not wearing the boybait by MAC im wearing this one. its more peachy corally but it plumps my lips so love i love it. it’s a lighter shade than the hot toddy one i used to use a lot but i lost that one too haha)

ever just tried a product and been like “i have to review this, now!” ?

just me?

well either way, i got a package from sephora today (i’ll go through it all later) and am using the products for the first time.

mini buxom lip glosses, and a nano lip liner.  as previously mentioned i am not one for lip things, but these really do something for me.

and of course as they say they tingle like crazy.  i just took it off my lips and its still tingling.  my lips are okay.  but what personally bothers me is that my bottom lip is pretty big, and when taking pictures especially, my top one likes to basically disapper.  it does have some shape though.

i think i only have a handful of natural pictures where you can kinda see my top lip.

i did a quick check and the mini’s are buxom fashion show & tell and this one is katie.
