It is always fun to watch different majors argue over which is harder or easier. Because like all majors are difficult and so few of us have the empathy or awareness to realize it. (architecture is the hardest major ever though) (not an architecture major)

it’s true

most of my friends in college were humanities or social science majors of one sort or another and let me tell you, their majors were just as difficult as mine. I defs couldn’t keep up with the amount of reading and writing they were doing.

agreed on architecture though. architecture and nursing are actually the most difficult majors and everyone else can get in line.

So apparently Marlene just confirmed that the gore-y death scene from the finale was going to belong to Wren. She said that Alex would kill him on the day of the wedding because he wouldn't agree with her replacing Spencer, so he would kind of be beheaded by her and that would've been the part in which she was supposed to say "Wow, the babies do have your eyes" AND THAT WOULD'VE BEEN AMAZING. Unfortunately, Julian only had one day of filming and they had to rule out that scene from the finale.

ARE YOU JOKING ME!!!!!!!!!!! I literally want to cry this is all too disappointing

What do you think of the Seelie Queen? I expected her to be portrayed by a more adult actress but this girl did a pretty good job combining both innocence and deviousness ;)

I personally pictured someone in their early 20s/ late teens. The actress that played her was good, but I had definitely pictured someone older since the Seelie Queen is described as an “ageless woman”. Especially considering the Queen and Sebastian have a….well sexual relationship.

But the actress portraying her did do a good job at the innocence and deviousness like you said, I agree. But I had definitely pictured someone older. So that threw me off a bit personally!

Hi! Since you've implied before that you don't agree much with this person's husbandry, what's your opinion on youtube user Leopard Gecko?

Well I mean, that is my opinion. From what I’ve seen (which isn’t much, I don’t watch youtube videos) her husbandry is misleading and dangerous at worst and questionable at best. I have had so many people tell me that they used coco fiber alone as a substrate for leopard geckos because it “can’t cause impaction” and when I ask where they got their information they typically cite youtuber Leopard Gecko. I don’t have any opinion of her personally. I really just wish people would think a little more critically about what sources they’re basing their beliefs and husbandry on.

To who it may concern

Hey. I hope you have a nice day. I don’t care who you are; if we’ve argued or if we’ve never met; if you hate me or if you like me; if you agree with my opinions or you don’t; if you are having a bad day or if you’re sad; I hope your day gets better. Because you deserve to smile.

On rp’s

Want to start a fight with my muse? No problem, I know it’s a bad guy, perfectly normal to want to defeat the evil.

But if you want me to be interested in interacting with you after that, do not overpower yourself.

I’ve had happen more than once that someone would react to a mere stab from my character with basically a “hah, I’m immortal/you missed, now I snap my fingers and you’re dead”

That isn’t fun.

I can understand that we both want our character to win a fight, and if you come to me in a separate message and ask if you can win it, I can agree to that. But I refuse to ever go down without a fight.

My character is canonically a good fighter. Have your character need to put forth an effort for their victory. Have them grunt in pain as they get hit. Have their victory feel like a victory rather than giving me a reason to instantly unfollow, not respond and ignore/delete any attempt of you to continue/start a new fight.

And if you can’t rp on these terms, you’re an asshole. Pushing someone’s honest attempt at a good rp in the mud and laughing at it is not something I want to be part of.

And no matter the rp, it should never be a problem to discuss things about an rp with each other.

Seafam I'm having some issues because I'm 18 without a job after 2 months of being 18 and I'm scared I won't make it in college and I want to leave the country because I don't feel safe here but everyone keeps telling me here is the safest place and I'm scared one co fused and hormonal and I don't want to end up the family failure and I don't wanna hurt myself again but everything hurts and everything scares me right now how can I just... how can I just live my life without this anxiety

If you’re in the United States I strongly agree with you.

It’ll be okay. You’ll move forward. Life will move you. First take a deep breath.

You’ll be fine in college. And college is an excellent opportunity for you to look into foreign exchange programs. That will be your first step out of the country and you’ll be able to look for places you would like to settle down. If you don’t have a place in mind let them put you wherever there’s a spot. Maybe you’ll love the country. Maybe you won’t. It’ll help though.

You will not be the family failure. You’re young. You have time. But it’s okay to feel caught up and scared. It’s okay. You’re okay. Find something that calms you down. Like, slime rancher. Or, rain sounds. Or a puzzle game. When I get real bad I like to play Papa’s Freezeria. The sprinkles are nice.

Job hunts take a long time. Concentrate on school and apply when you have the time. It’ll be okay.

for the writing prompts, could you possible do #5 with Bokuaka? if not that's okay too, thank you so much!

Of course! I love BokuAka!

5. “I didn’t even want to come to this party. You lied to me about the pinata.”

Bokuto was not having a good time, solely because Akashi had lied to him. He lied! He couldn’t believe that his own boyfriend had pulled a fast one on him.

Akaashi had said that his little cousin was having a party and he didn’t want to be surrounded by little kids alone. Bokuto could understand that (even though he pouted when Akaashi added that he was basically a little kid himself) so he agreed. He thought it would be an actual kids party with cake and a clown and other fun activities.

It wasn’t. Instead, it was like somebody died here. Which wasn’t surprising considering the way Akaashi’s family was. Akaashi was the only bright one out of all of them and that was saying something.

“Keiji, let’s just go, we’ve been here for two hours.” Bokuto whined in his ear.

Akaashi glanced at him. “We can’t just leave, this is my family.”

“They’re acting like somebody died when this kid just got baptized. Isn’t it supposed to be holy and fun?”

“I wouldn’t say fun.”

Bokuto pouted. ““I didn’t even want to come to this party. You lied to me about the pinata!”

“I never said anything about a pinata.” Akaashi kissed his cheek. “After the party I will take you somewhere fun. You can even invite Kuroo and Kenma.”

“Kenma will only come if video games are involved.” Akaashi gave him a blank stare which made Bokuto light up. “Hell yes we’re going to the arcade!”

Akaashi just smiled softly and took his hand. Bokuto could be so easy to please.

actually the age of consent in most countries is 16 and in europe it varies from 14-16. if a 12 year old has tits, she doesn't have the body of a child. the definition of pedophelia is someone who is attracted to PREPUBESCENT children. a 12 year old with tits who has hit puberty is not prebuscent. you have 2 choices either to believe all men are pedophiles (think how many girls were hit on when they were in middle school by older men) or accept young girls are attractive to men

Lol so my choices are agree or disagree? Be upset men find children attractive or don’t be upset? Like you sent me all this garbage just for that? Weak.

Okay can I just say something.
Lately, I have seen people complaining about Force’s Of Destiny because it focusses on female chacters and not male chacters.
I have seen people saying it’s just wired and that there should be guy’s in it and that star wars is for guys only.
And to me, that p*sses me off so so much.
As a girl myself, I love Star Wars and I am not afaird to say that. And to see people still saying star wars isn’t for girls, just angers me.

Reblog if you agree

Agreed on the new gyms being not awesome and the PLEASE LET ME TURN OFF RAID NOTIFICATIONS, OH GOD, but you can do raids alone, or at least it’s let me do it. Team Glitch strikes again?

Possibly. Other people said that you have to wait for the timer to tick down, but there was no timer that I saw, and I was standing there for like, five minutes trying to get it to DO ANYTHING and nothing happened.

IDK, it may be related to how when I joined for a while I didn’t have a team?

Oh man, yeah I could see how that would be really terrible in more populated areas. I’ve been liking the raids, but to be honest, we don’t have that many gyms here, and everything is really spread out (which I think also keeps some of the novelty, because we also always get quite a few people at each raid), and the gyms are almost never full, which has been nice. Before it was actually harder for me to get a Pokemon in a gym, or it would have taken way too long to build it up.

Yeah, see there’s like…five gyms between my bus stop and my home, and shitloads of gyms in the nearby park, but Chicago is also an incredibly dense urban population, and I live next to a giant high school and two separate universities. I have yet to see a gym that wasn’t full, of any team. :D

I haven’t had the opportunity to try yet, but learning you can spin gyms like pokestops is interesting to me.

I mean…it basically means, between the six-pokemon limit and the spinny, that gyms have functionally been replaced by pokestops, at least for me. You can spin them but it’s the same as spinning a pokestop, so there’s no real like, intrigue there. :D

Literally After touken became canon all the haters rises or more like they become even more aggressive. I was in naruto and bleach fandom before and it was hell, too much hate especially right after the pairing became canon. I just want to enjoy tg in peace and now in the tag i see those haters/antis since i follow tg and touken tag

Honestly Anon, I really hesitated to answer you (no offense) because I have no idea why you chose to complain to me about those haters. :/
Still no offense, but I hope you also realize that the more you openly complain about them, the more you give them what they want because you show that they’re getting to you, and so if you really want to enjoy TG in peace, well, you should simply do so, by starting to ignore them.

If there is one thing fandom experience should put into your head with a hammer, it is that you will never be able to make everyone agree on anything, especially on the matter of ships for the main characters.
Starting from there, why do you even care about how haters act or what they say? Why not simply enjoy TG and the development of Kaneki and Touka with other open-minded fans, instead of focusing on the ones who don’t agree with you?

I know and I understand why it’s hard sometimes to simply close your eyes when it’s making you mad, but try to think of bloggers who aren’t just bothered in the tags but also in their askbox. If it’s just the tags, you have means to deal with it, starting by blocking all the hating blogs if you can’t ignore them.

TG is not your first fandom experience apparently, so just learn from what you’re experimenting and complaining about, because all the fandoms are similar: one day, TG will end and the tags will die. Until then though, people will keep on complaining about every little thing that they don’t like (be it characters, ships, writing) because that’s just how Western fandoms are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I cannot stress this point enough though, it is the same thing in every fandom  and as much as I can understand how annoying haters can be, if you don’t start to ignore them instead of complaining, then you’re playing right into their hands and you’ll be bothered for the rest of TG, as well as for other series that you’ll discover later. And I don’t know, I’m not you, but I’m not sure that it is what you want your enjoyment of a series with a fandom to be like.

Finally, I must say this, one reason I really dislike this kind of asks (not that it’s your fault, you couldn’t have known, but just please hear me out for next time) is that it’s easy to complain about haters when:

  • Some Kaneki/Touka fans can be as disrespectful towards other ships or characters or plot developments as these haters you are complaining about and I find this to be really ironic and hypocritical.
  • Some fans complain about hatred everywhere and how unbearable it is, but I follow the ‘Kanetou’ tag that I often check on mobile (so no filter) and I haven’t seen hatred in there since even before ch122 (maybe I’m jinxing it with this answer though xD).
  • Haters aren’t everything to this fandom and by acknowledging them you’re basically ignoring all the great blogs that managed to detach themselves from the annoying content in the tags -> so if the tags are hard to live through for you, then simply leave the tags for a little while and focus on following cool and respectful people.

I hope you understand that I’m not angry at you or anything, it’s just that I really couldn’t care less about those haters. My dash has been haters/hatred free for a long while now and I follow many different people for many different series which all have a part of the fandoms prone to hating, so it’s just about learning to make your blogging environment what you want it to be.

Anon, you gotta learn to coexist with them within the same fandom because, no matter what you do, they won’t disappear until TG ends, but acknowledging them is basically just giving them the feeling that their hating posts are working so… bad idea. xD

Go enjoy TG in peace Anon and don’t bother with haters. ;)

100% or I’m gone.

Idk about y’all but when it comes to coming out to individuals gaining acceptance….If it’s not a full 100% support rate from that individual, then I’m keeping my distance from them. Plain and simple. I’ve been through several situations in which people’s support of my identity was half-hearted at best (some of whom, I could tell they wanted to keep their distance from me). And I ain’t got time for half-heartedness.

For example when I tell someone of my identity and they respond with, “Well, I don’t agree with it but I still support you nonetheless,” I see that as sugarcoated shade. What that statement tells me is that although you won’t completely abandon me, you still view my sexuality in a negative context. Also, you probably don’t have the guts to tell me this straight to my face, but you also likely think that I and the rest of the LGBTQ community are going to hell for being who we are. By the way, what is there to “disagree” with?? My sexuality never was a choice, I was born this way. And there’s several credible sources out there that back this up.

But yeah, people who say that to their LGBTQ counterparts, in my opinion, their “kind” words are absolutely hollow. You can still hear the lingering homophobia in their statement. And these guys are the kind to still police your identity even if they “accepted” you. And as stated before, if you don’t throw 100% support behind this community, then I want nothing to do with you. And some may find this to be extreme, but why should I have to still put up with people who are lowkey (or even highkey) uncomfortable with my presence or the LGBTQ community as a whole? My safety and the safety of my LGBTQ family are top priority.

Why would I be where I’m not wanted?

@dogsncats01 Oh, exactly! I couldn’t agree with you more. It may sometimes seem as though we know a lot, but we don’t. What we have is what they volunteer and what we can see for ourselves, but there must be so much more going on behind the curtain that we have no idea of. There are things we’re not meant to know because they, too, deserve their privacy - just like anyone else.

I’ll bask in the glory of what we’re witnessing, but I also love the times when they’re nowhere to be seen - it makes me happy to know that they’re somewhere out there, taking the time for themselves and just living as they see fit. While I really enjoy following them (as is apparent), I don’t want them to sacrifice too much of their time to please us fans. Living your life for other people is never the right path.

(This might get a tad long, sorry!) I absolutely agree with what you said about the GP perception about boybands in general, and Simon specifically. I often find that for me, trying to distract my fan-self and see things from a GP perspective, it can often turn around into almost feeling things more negatively than they necessarily would. With the article, I was initially upset about how it lacked positivity and mentioning all the Louis achievements I know about - but having had a bit of /

distance and time to mull, I do think it’s mainly a very good introduction that will hopefully soon create the positive buzz, after reintroducing ‘real’ Louis to GP. I also found it encouraging how widely it has spread globally, regardless if a lot were missing the point and focusing on irrelevant things, but still - it did reintroduce a sympathic tone to Louis’ name in general. However, I still personally can’t shake off the feeling (and I try to be objective so unsure why my mind feels so set on this), that the undertone I felt in the article was a little bit bitter towards Harry. He was name-dropped more than others and I didn’t feel the things said about him were as positive as about the others (which were lovely), despite the writers’ comment about lack of vinegar - I might read into things more as a fan and a marketer myself, (over)analysing context and between the lines, but I’m unsure how the GP will do that and to what extent. I feel a lot depends on what GP still views Harry as - people do seem to love to hate him still, Villain of The Year. I know we see him very differently and I think sometimes it’s easy to lose clarity on whether GP’s perception of Harry has really changed, as well or not. We see quotes about people working with him praising him and how kind he is, but that doesn’t reach the GP as much as it sometimes feels we’d like to think. So yeah, long story short (and thanks for listening!), I like the article, but I do think there was an undertone that probably has people feel warmer about 1D in general but not necessarily Harry. As I said, this is the way it made me feel despite trying to rationalise it in my head - trying to remain objective often can create counter reactions. Most of my dash haven’t seen this bitterness, so I’m hopeful it’s just a thing stuck in my head! As for using that sort of narrative, I’m intrigued to see if it maybe continues as I think it’d be extremely interesting and speculation-worthy.

I think Harry gets name checked the most because he’s the most easily recognizable. I also feel l like the way the GP views Harry has more to do with the narratives they’ve decided to go with for his promo and less to do with what any of the other boys say.

I think we have to remember, as I’ve said before, there’s no nuance for the general public. For Harry, it seems, they’ve gone with the Heir Apparent Serious Artist. And he is getting critical acclaim and selling records with this tack. But I don’t think they’re spinning Harry’s story in such a way that makes the GP want to rally behind him. And quite honestly, I don’t think they need to really. So I feel like maybe that’s what you’re seeing? Does that make sense?

My INFP Music Series #3

Disclaimer: This is all based on my own preferences and opinion. Not all INFPs would necessarily agree with me.

Unforgettable - Nat King Cole

Notable Lyrics:

“Unforgettable, that’s what you are
Unforgettable though near or far
Like a song of love that clings to me
How the thought of you does things to me
Never before has someone been more”

It wouldn’t be my INFP music series if I didn’t include my songs that show how enamored by romance I am. I grew up on music like this as well so it will always have a special place in my heart. This is one of my favorite songs and it’s one of the reasons I have such high expectations when it comes to romance. In my mind, this is how a relationship should feel.

Notable Lyrics:

“Unforgettable in every way
And forever more, that’s how you’ll stay
That’s why, darling, it’s incredible
That someone so unforgettable
Thinks that I am unforgettable too”

Other than the lyrics, the melody of this song is so beautiful. It relaxes me and makes me smile whenever I hear it. I have a large collection of jazz music that I love but this is in the top section of that list.

I think everyone just miss the whole point! There is no celebrity and fan rule book. We're not at chapter 11 where she is taking a detour. We're human and so is Gillian. Idgaf that she is a celebrity she never asked me to be her fan or to see her as a role model. I took the decision to be her fan and as her fan I get to look but not make demands on her. She never make demands on us, she doesn't tell us our clothes are ugly, that we are not mentally well, that we should lose or gain weight etc.

Sorry anon, you have it wrong. There’s a celebrity book. It’s called PR. You can study it and have degrees. It’s not her job, I agree, but she’s supposed to have people doing it for her, and right now they’re really bad at their job. She does make demands on us. She asks us to give to her charity, to watch this or read that. We don’t have to obey, we don’t have to like it, but you can’t say she never asks us anything.
