but you are in a lot of stuff

What happens when an experienced hunter of ghosts and other paranormal beings ends up in a hotel meant for those exact things?
A lot of covering up from the android owner and his other employee. But Jeremy is not easy to fool, it seems.

Also bit sudden but:

Shout out to @edible-opposing-forks, your tags on my works always make me smile so much :’D Thank you so much for always sharing your reactions with me, they’re such a joy to read!

Certainly not just limited to just them, I am so incredibly grateful to everyone for your tags/comments/replies ;A; I read the tags and comments ALL the time (it’s the number one place I turn to when I feel frustrated and am considering ditching a wip) and it makes me so happy when any of you share your thoughts with me <3 Even if it’s just a few words, a rambling spew, shouting, exclamations, anything, it really means a lot to me, so thank you for taking the time to share with me m(_ _)m

So thank you so much guys!!!! You being so awesome reminds me that I’m not just throwing work into a void, that people are reading my comics and feeling something from them, and it motivates me so much to draw and post more ^ ^

Mangaka’s Manual

A list of 50 things every mangaka-to-be should be made to swear on before putting that pen to paper.

  1. While fantasy and fictional events may not reflect real life, the personalities, attitudes, and actions taken by the characters within the story do. With that in mind, I will not portray in a positive light actions which bring unwarranted harm to other fellow humans, most especially evil actions such as rape and pedophilia. I will not fail to portray them in a negative light and will treat sensitive topics with the utmost care.
  2. I will not portray my main character as so incredibly dumb and/or naive as to be impossible to sympathize with.
  3. I will not portray my main character as so incredibly dumb and/or naive  as to be incompetent without the aid of “the power of friendship”, “the power of emotions”, or “nakama power” unless an in-story reasons specifically exists for said powers boosting my main character’s competency or efficiency and not that of others alongside them. This is unrealistic and breaks the suspension of disbelief in the story.
  4. I will not portray any character as so lustfully overcome by the sight of the female member of the human species as to given heart-eyes by the mere appearance of one or unreliable amongst his friends should one jeopardize or threaten his friends or his mission. This paints a negative picture of the character’s priorities for a relatively low return of “comedy”. The same goes for any character towards the male sex.
  5. I will not portray any character as so lustful that they can be counted on to flirt with, ogle, inappropriately touch, or provide unwanted or unwarranted attention to a member of either sex. This is unrealistic and no one in real life, hopefully, actually acts this way.
  6. I will not portray a woman’s love life as her sole aim, goal, or reason for existence or action in a story, ever. This is insulting and, even though there are women in real life who pursue love voraciously, it should never be the only concern a woman has.
  7. I will not minimize the role played by women in my story, to the point where merely rewarding her with a successful romance at the end is her end goal achieved. I will strive to produce, if not active, then at least three-dimensional women who can move on if their pursuit of love should happen to fail.
  8. I will include prominent nonwhite characters in my manga.
  9. I will include prominent LGBT characters in my manga.
  10. The LGBT characters I write will not be lustful predators, one-dimensional comedic relief, or killed off to result in a cast that is suspiciously free of LGBT characters. I will to the best of my ability avoid stereotypes that harm the LGBT community.

Hi I saw your #thoughtsfromthevoid post on my dash so came to check what I'd missed and I don't know whether it's that my browsing times have been off or tumblr algorithms (I've not followed anyone new either lol) but I just haven't been seeing your stuff :( Gonna make an effort to queue & reblog things now though <3

i think maybe i’m going to try posting later in the night so that more people can try and see it on their feeds! usually i post around 10am EST but i’m queueing up some new art right now to post tomorrow at 10pm EST so that maybe people in other time zones can find it skdjfhsdkf

i’ve also been really getting into posting more art on twitter, i usually get more engagement there for some reason (obviously i’m still going to post here but) so if you have one of those and you’re not seeing my art here, maybe you can have another chance to see it there!

It’s that time of the month. We’ve run over our bandwidth limit for the month and my internet is now slow as molasses.

That makes reblogs difficult at best and often impossible, so if you’ve got posts you want me to reblog, your best bet is to send me an IM or ask so that I can go back when my internet is up again.

Alternately, if it’s a new post, you can @becausedragonage me or stick my name in the tags.

If it’s a reblog, stick with asks and IMs because I guarantee you, if you @ me with those, they’ll show up on my activity page, but by the time my internet is working again, I’ll have forgotten about them because my activity page is a fast moving black hole. :D

Also, don’t take this as a message NOT to send me stuff. I am completely selfish and a) want your content and b) want to get the good feels that boosting peoples art/writing/meta/OC info/etc. give me.

Les Chevaliers…

all this new short haired ladybug art has got me like *heart eyes*

this one here is called the silent princess. despite our efforts, we can’t get them to grow domestically yet. the princess can only thrive out here in the wild. all that we can hope is that the species will be strong enough to prosper, on its own.

Imagine living in a city where there are no monuments, no buildings from before 1970, no proof that you had grandparents or parents, no history at all. Wouldn’t that make you feel like you were just a passing fad, that you could be blown away like leaves?… for any community to feel substantial and able to change without losing themselves, a history is absolutely crucial.

What if Steve doesn't know how to work a parachute but is too embarrassed/stubborn to admit it?

oh, that little shit knows how to use a parachute. that’s part of what makes him so dang terrible. he knows full well how to work a chute. he’s just a moron.

we’ve had this conversation a lot.

‘its stealthier, buck,’ he tells me.
‘it wont be stealthy when they hear me yelling at you all the goddam way down, steve.’

'im superhuman, i can survive it!’ he insists.
'well, that’ll come in handy when im kicking your butt for being such a dumbass.’

'im afraid of heights,’ he blatantly lies.
'then why’d you get so freakin tall??’

'i just don’t like parachutes, though, buck,’ he says, like that’s any sort of excuse.
'and i don’t like it when you die from stupidity, but that’s never once stopped you from trying. now strap the fucking chute on before i ziptie you in a crate and ship you back to peggy.’
